By the time the last car, Yoongi's, arrived at the entrance of the hotel, it was well past seven. Jimin and the rest of the boys were shaking with anticipation while Manager Sungwoo had struck a conversation with Bang PD.
Jimin observed as Yoongi made his way to the group, as slow as he possibly could, and then came to a stop beside Namjoon.
'So?' he asked, facing the rest.
Everybody shrugged in reply, not knowing either why they were there, their advances on the CEO having none of the impact they'd hoped. Jimin had joined Taehyung and Jungkook, along with Hoseok, in bothering Manager Sungwoo but the man was quite difficult to crack. Bang PD had given a look when they'd started on him and Jimin no longer had the heart to bother him.
'Is everyone here?' Bang PD asked when he finished speaking with their manager. Jimin nodded with the rest of the boys. 'Let's go.'
The boys made their way, following Manager Sungwoo, through the labyrinth of corridors, going up the elevator. They'd made it onto the first floor and had turned right once on their path when Bang PDnim came to an abrupt halt, making Jimin slam straight into Taehyung's behind.
'oW!'
Taehyung rubbed his head, whining loudly. Jimin began laughing and apologising at the same time, but he quickly shut his mouth when he saw his manager's face.
'Listen, boys,' Bang PD addressed them. 'I want you all to be on your best behaviors. First impressions are the ones which make the most impact on people's opinions on you. Be good, and we'll all be fine. Okay?'
He didn't want to admit it but the warning made Jimin nervous.
Who were we meeting and why were their impressions of us so important?
'We're here,' Manager Sungwoo announced, when they'd walked a little bit further. He turned and raised his hand in a fist, knocking twice on the door. A woman, in her late twenties, obviously a worker at the hotel by her uniform, answered the door, opening it a little further to let us in.
Jimin gaped at the decor of the room, amazed by the expensive looking furniture and lighting. He stepped in a little further into the room, led by the waitress, and then froze.
There were other people sitting at the table. Jimin's lips parted in shock. A quick glance at the rest of his members showed he was just about taken aback as the rest of them.
The people at the table scramblede to their feet, adjusting themselves into a line and bowed towards Bang PDnim and more reluctantly so, to us.
'Hello, we are BLACKPINK.'
Jimin's heart dropped.

After the rather awkward introductions, Namjoon nudged his members to sit down at the table, amused by their reactions, some of excitement, while others of horror. Or nothing at all. Which was exactly how Yoongi looked like to Namjoon as he observed the smaller man take his seat, completely ignoring the strangers in the room.
Namjoon quickly realised, however, that there were not enough chairs, when both teams had occupied the seats, leaving their CEO and manager to stand. Being the mindful one he was, Namjoon attempted to offer his seat to the CEO but hand on his shoulder paused his actions.
'It's okay, Namjoon,' the man he realised as Bang PD told him. 'I will be sitting in there with their manager and CEO.' He signalled to the smaller room beyond the open doorway.
Namjoon would be lying if he said he or the boys weren't surprised when their CEO said that.
Their surprise was voiced when a voice spoke up.
'You're going leave us here?,' Jimin asked, eyes wide. 'Alone?' He glanced at the four girls that sat opposite him across the round table.
Namjoon's eyebrow quirked, however, when he heard the blonde, Lisa, he remembered, mutter a quiet sneer, 'Scared?', and Jimin had opened his mouth to retort but then had only given her a long look and returned his attention to his senior.
No one else saw this happen, Namjoon noticed. Not by their lack of response.
Bang PD simply nodded and walked out and into the smaller room.
Namjoon had offered to take a seat next to Jennie, saving the few who were reluctant to do so. Jin was happily content sitting next to the girls, not a slight complaint coming from him.
'So,' Namjoon started, awkwardly trying to make a conversation, to decrease the ever-increasing tension in the room. 'The weather's nice today, huh?'
Namjoon slapped himself internally, cringing at the pathetic ice breaker. He was lucky his members didn't say some weird remark. It was great that they were listening to Bang PD's orders of keeping a good reputation. However, he still saw, at the corner of his eyes, Yoongi shaking his head and Taehyung looking down, barely containing his laughter.
Jennie looked amused. 'Oh my god, you're worse at this than I am.'
Laughter rose from the table, and Namjoon saw Lisa and Jimin trying to conceal their laughs. The pair caught each other's eye immediately returning to their serious faces after giving each other a glare. It was only convenient, for an observant one like Namjoon, to witness the scene unfold between the pair who sat across each other.
Namjoon felt his face turn red when he realised that they were originally laughing at him.
He smiled sheepishly before turning to Jennie. 'Did you know you were meeting us?'
'No. We only found out a few minutes ago after Li-', Jennie voice was cut off when Lisa, who sat beside her, clamped her mouth shut with her left hand.
'No, we didn't know.' Lisa finished off for her. She dropped her hand from Jennie's mouth and gives her a look.
Namjoon nodded, knowing when not to push further and looked around the table.
Jin, Jisoo, and Hoseok, were in their own world, Hoseok speaking animatedly, waving his chopsticks in the air, while the remaining two listened intently. Lisa and Rose were speaking with Taehyung. This left Yoongi, Jimin and Jungkook, who still weren't giving up on their mean façade.
'This is a waste of my time,' Yoongi muttered angrily loud enough for everybody to hear. All sounds of voices around the table faded into silence. 'Any group would've been better than.. them.'
Namjoon stared at Yoongi, while some others shifted uncomfortably.
What is he doing?
He knew the man too well to know that Yoongi knew exactly what he was doing.
Why is he provoking them?
Beside him, Namjoon could feel Jennie's anger building up. She was still in her seat, her hand clenched in hard fists.
'I can't wait to get out of here,' Jungkook told Jimin, who nodded in agreement. They looked bored out of their minds, even with their phones in their hands, in contrast to everyone else who seemed to be doing fine.
Why are they being like this? Those aren't the boys I know.
'We're wasting our night on something that's not even worth it.'
Suddenly, Jennie slammed her fist down on the table. The sound caught everybody's attention and Namjoon hoped to himself, the people in the connected room didn't hear it.
Jennie narrowed her eyes, glaring at the three boys sitting across from her.
'We apologise greatly for you being forced to give up your precious time to be with us, filthy beings,' Jennie apologised, sarcastically. Then her features harden. 'We didn't beg to be here, especially to meet you all, so either shut up or leave. If you would like, the door is open for you to go.'
She huffed, clearly annoyed. Fortunately, they weren't loud enough for the boss to hear, Namjoon heaving a sigh of relief when Manager Sungwoo didn't come running out.
But the trouble wasn't over yet.
Yoongi's eyes narrowed and he glared back at Jennie, who was not going to give up.
Namjoon watched the pair like a tennis match. He knew the both of them like his siblings. If it came down to choosing the winning side, Namjoon wouldn't know who he'd pick. They were stubborn people, people who never admit defeat. And they don't like losing.
Why do I have to be in between this?
He was on the edge of his seat, prepared for the worst, ready to intervene if something bad happens.
This was going to be an interesting night.
