Lisa and Rose dashed out of their dorm as quickly as they could.
13:56, it said on their watches.
'Faster!' Rose cried, a few steps ahead of Lisa, as they ran up the stairs.
'I told you we could have taken the elevators, but no..' Lisa panted. '4 minutes left! Chaeng, quickly!'
The girls went in circles and circles up, trying their best to reach their destination on time.
Lisa had no idea what had gone through her mind when they decided to give up the elevator.
In the end, however, they made it on time. A sign hung above a meeting room, at a corner. Rose pushed the door open, granting them access into the room. Luckily, Lisa wasn't sweating that hard, which meant she looked at least presentable.
'Good afternoon,' they both said and bowed, to show respect.
'Sit down, girls,' manager ordered them. The girls both took seats across from each other at the rectangular meeting table. 'Where's Jennie and Jisoo?'
Lisa heard a few loud clicks from outside the door and it slid open, revealing Jisoo, Jennie right behind her.
'Hello,' they said whilst bowing.
'Have a seat, girls.'
A loud knock sounded on the door and their CEO walked in.
As he took his seat, Lisa noted the looks on her fellow members, all serious. And it was, really. She knew her CEO rarely got involved unless it was something serious.
The meeting commenced, as usual, manager addressing their future comebacks and their preparations for an album. Lisa had been practicing a lot lately, especially because it was awards season, which had resulted in a lot of sleep loss on her part.
She noticed Rose fidgeting the whole time, most likely because she hated getting scolded and what was about to come was not exciting.
The meeting was coming to an end and Lisa knew the topic she feared would somehow be brought up. YG looked at them in turn and as he laid his eyes on Lisa, paused.
Both Rose and Lisa froze fearing what was to come. He looked her in the eye and opened his mouth.
'You have rehearsals at the SBS studio, this Saturday, Lisa.'
Lisa let out a breath she didn't notice she was holding.
'What for?'
'Were you not informed? A collaboration had been arranged for the Gayo Dajeun, in which numerous artists will be performing together. Soora, fill her in. I will be leaving now.'
Their manager nodded and he departed from the room, leaving Lisa shook.
Rose spoke up first. 'Bu-but, the articles..'
'In due time, Chaeyoung, you will see the consequences of those articles.'
So we weren't safe yet.
'But, Soora-unnie, what about the performance? I still don't know what I'm supposed to do..'
She turned to Lisa. 'Lisa, you have been selected as one of the dancers to participate in the performance joined by multiple idols from other companies, such as Yugyeom and Jinyoung of Got 7, Seulgi of Red Velvet, Ten of NCT.'
Lisa nodded in understanding. She smiled widely, proud that she was selected. It was an honor for her, besides the fact that her CEO was quite strict on collaborations outside the company.
'You are dismissed. Lisa and Chaeyoung, we will be in this room again, very soon.'
God damn it.
Lisa had wished her manager would forget about that. The girls rushed out of the room and walked back together to their dorm. The moment she had closed the door behind her, Jennie and Jisoo, pelted Lisa with questions.
'So, our baby Lisa's in love, huh?' Jennie teased, bumping her shoulders into Lisa's, who scowled.
'Jennie, don't tease her,' Jisoo scolded. Lisa smiled, thankful for the help. 'He's our maknae's first love....'
Never mind, she took that thank you back.
Lisa smacked them all in the face with a pillow in her hand.
'Rude,' Jennie muttered, rubbing the back of her head. 'Now, let's get down to business. What actually happened?'
Taking a deep breath, Lisa sat down on the couch. 'Well, it all started preshow, when you introduced us.....'

The sound of Jimin's head banging on the kitchen counter pounded through the dorm, muttering curses under his breath. Yoongi hoisted himself down the stairs, his hair ruffled, his face fixed in a scowl, clearly annoyed at the commotion downstairs that had interrupted his much needed sleep.
'What the hell are you doing?' he seethes. Jimin could practically see the horns peeking out of his hair.
Hoping it would be enough, Jimin slid his phone across the marble counter, the screen showing the disturbing article he had woken up to. Jimin heard Yoongi's breath catch and prepared himself for the scolding.
'What. Is. This?'
Not hearing Yoongi over the sound of his head hitting the counter, Jimin's ear explodeded when the elder yelled.
'Hey!'
Jimin looked up, rubbing his forehead in frustration. 'What?'
'What. Is. This,' Yoongi gritted his teeth, finger pointing at the screen. 'What were you thinking?'
'I didn't think it through. I was taunting the blondie, but I forgot about the cameras..'
In a split second, Jimin felt a sharp pain on the back of his head when Yoongi smacked him.
'OW!'
'You deserved it.'
Jimin sighed loudly, rubbing his head.
'I know.'
Hoseok walked down the stairs. 'What's up? I heard a loud yell and a lot of pounding,' he paused, Jimin scowling at the obvious innuendo.
Hoseok skipped down the stairs and spotted the clearly distressed Jimin, when he slowed to a walk. 'What are you doing?'
Jimin turned to him, Yoongi sliding the phone across the counter to Hoseok, who was standing confused.
'What is this? What did you do?' He said while scrolling through. Jimin watched as his smile faded and his eyebrows bunched together. 'Lisa and Jimin together?'
Jimin cringed at his words and sinked into his seat. 'Please don't say it out loud. I don't want to hear it.'
Hoseok looked at him. 'Do you understand what you did? Do you know how this will affect BlackPink's reputation? They're still rookies. Imagine the hate-'
Jimin was shocked to hear those words, to say the least.
'Oh, so you don't care about our reputation at all? You don't give a damn about my image at all, do you? No, 'cause all you care about is THEIR image. How are they going to cope,' Jimin exploded, enunciating every syllable of his last sentence, half yelling. Jimin was getting mad, that's for sure.
No way had he thought they would react like this.
Suddenly, a ping rang from Jimin's phone, in Hoseok's hands, distracting us from the situation at hand. He opened it and read the text aloud, his voice shaking slightly at my outburst.
'Our manager wants to see us. We've got to be at the meeting hall at 11 o'clock, sharp. Jimin, he wants you to be there especially.'
Well, shit.

apologies for the romanisation of words like hyung or unnie, i know it's weird, but it just sounds a bit strange to me for them to address each other by their names. and writing it in Korean would just complicate things, especially because many people don't know Hangul, so i have to resort to the romanisation.
much love, thank you.
