Playful Heart [3] Eyes on Fire
Lysander on the side---->
Chapter Three
Eyes on Fire
"Lysander, ottenere il vostro culo fino adesso!" I heard my Aunt Marza yelled up the stairs. I was surprised I heard her, considering my room was on the other end of the house. I slowly rolled out of my bed and threw on a pair of pants. I never wore pants when I was home. I just saw no point to it.
I trudged down the hallway and as soon as I hit the first step, my Uncle started in.
"Why are you so disrespectful. Gesù Cristo! Non so cosa fare con te. If I have to come up there and get you – "He stopped talking as I walked down to him. I said nothing, just gave him a smirk and walked past him, listening to him curse in Italian.
I hated my Aunt and Uncle. All they wanted was for me to be everything their son hadn't been. Now I understood why Giovanni left for Greece as soon as he turned of legal age. His parents were nothing but overbearing and controlling. So distasteful.
I walked into the kitchen where my Aunt was stirring something in a pot. . I knew it was better not to go over and look at what was cooking. That was a one way ticket to getting hot food sprayed on your face.
"What did you want?" I asked, causing my Aunt to jump and place a hand over her heart.
"Mi hai spaventato a morte. Make a sound when you come in." She chided, waving the spoon at me. I rolled my eyes and she huffed. "I am asking if you have been taking those tests."
See, my good ole' Aunt and Uncle wanted me to be a doctor; I however, am not remotely close of wanting to be one. So, in order to rebel against them like I do with everything, I purposely flunked school and now, no college will take me.
Genius, I know.
That didn't stop them though. They are insisting I get tutoring from the smart daughter of our neighbor down the street. We had been meeting for three weeks already, and every Friday, she give me tests to complete. I haven't done any of them though. I just don't see the point in it. She confronted me about it last Friday and so my Uncle is forcing me to do them. I managed to complete one with him standing right behind me, but I bullshited the whole thing. Now with Miss Adeline coming over tomorrow, I am expected to have the other two finished.
"Yeah, I did half of one. I don't understand the rest or the other test, so I was going to ask her to go over it with me." My Aunt slowly nodded her head and I smiled at her having bought my lie. This was too easy with them. They could at least give me a challenge with lying, but they buy into every single one. "Is that all you wanted?" I asked.
"Yes yes. Now get out of my kitchen." She snapped. I saluted her and turned on my heel, walking to the garage. I walked to the Audi my Uncle had bought me in an attempt to "shape me up." All it did was give me more reasons to act up. I opened the garage door and slid into the car, turning it on and racing out and onto the road. I was running late for my tattoo appointment. You would think after having my right arm, both my feet, my ankle and my chest covered in tattoos, that would be the end. But it wasn't. I had one last tattoo, the pièce de résistance, a two-headed woman pirate with three boobs. Yeah, sound stupid right? That's the point.
Me and my friends decided to all get matching tattoos, seeing as I was positive I was getting shipped off very soon for my horrid behavior. We wanted something uncommon, not meaningful to others, bit to us meant everything. I pulled into the tattoo shops parking lot and got out of the car. I saw Stefano, Carlo and Segio's cars parked and smiled. Not too late. I walked into the parlor, the bells over the door going off and causing everyone in the store to look at me.
"Eccolo! There he is! We thought you ditched us already!" Carlo yelled, walking over to me and smacking me on the back. I chuckled and shook my head.
"I would never leave without telling you guys." I reassured them. They all laughed and Tamara, the tattoo artist walked out, a warm smile on her face.
"They are all going to miss you when you leave, Lysander." She announced as she walked over to me and gave me hug. I hugged her back and she pulled away, putting her hand on my shoulder and looking at my friends. "I guarantee I might have to bail all of them out at least three times." We all laughed and walked with her to the back of the shop. We walked past the other rooms, filled with people getting tattoos. We finally reached the back room and Tamara started getting her supplies together. We joked around for a while and then she turned around and clapped her hands together.
"So who's going first?" She asked and everyone pointed at me.

We all groaned after laughing, which then caused us to laugh even more. Five hours after our tattoos were done; we decided to head out and walk the town. There weren't much, a couple shops here and there, but Sergio and Stefano loved to walk around and check out the girls. Hey, they were brothers after all.
"We shouldn't have gotten the shading done too." Sergio whined and I shook my head. I had decided we should get the outline, but he insisted to get everything done.
"We had to! What if Lysander left us tomorrow, then we would all have unmatched tattoos and it would be pointless." Carlo cried out, throwing his hands up in exaggeration. I smacked the back of his head and everyone burst out laughing.
"I'm going to miss you guys." I said softly, stopping to sit on a window sill. They all looked at me, soft smiles on their faces.
"You talk like it's actually happening. Tranquillo, idiota, If they do kick you out, you must call us so we can see you off." Sergei ordered and I chuckled. I honestly didn't know what I was going to do without them. We were a team, a group. We were brothers. I was the cool and collected one, Sergei the dirty-worker, Stefano the mastermind and Carlo was the supporter. There was no way I would find anyone who could take their places. But it was like they said; I wasn't being shipped off just yet.
"Well after tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I'll be gone." I added. I just remembered I had a plan. I wasn't sure what or how I was going to do it, but I knew it was going to get me out of this town.
"Oh mio dio. Ecco il nostro genio planner. Here is our genius planner." Stefano snorted, rolling his eyes.
"What are you going to do this time?" Carlo asked and I smiled.
"Dunno yet, ad essere onesti, but it's going to defiantly piss them off." Seregi laughed, grabbing his stomach and we all looked at him confused.
"You definatley will be missed Lyander." He said after he controlled himself. I smiled and held my arms out for a hug and they walked into it. We laughed after we released the hug and a skinny red-head with big breats walked by.
"Damn, controlla la cremagliera sul suo. Aye, I'll see you guys later, I gotta go get her." Seregi said, his eyes not leaving the now giggling girl as he walked over to her. Stefano rolled his eyes.
"And that's my cue to follow him and make sure he doesn't get killed. Why must I be his brother?" I smiled at him and pulled him in for another hug.
"Keep him safe while I'm gone."
"I will, don't worry." Stefano said his goodbye and ran off after his brother, leaving me and Carlo alone. I looked over at him and saw him staring out into the street.
"You gonna call us if you leave right?" He asked, his eyes never leaving the street.
"Of course. I will call you guys everyday. You're like brothers to me." I told him and he finally looked at me.
"Then looks like I can go home too." I laughed at him and gave him a goodbye hug before walking back to my car. The drive home was silent, because I was too lazy to turn on the radio. When I arrived back at the house, it was already dark. I prepared myself for the yelling when I walked into the house, but instead was met with silence. I walked into the kitchen and found a bowl of food wrapped with a note.
"We had to go out for your Uncles business dinner; I hope you won't mind the quite. Oh who am I kidding, you love the quiet. Be safe and clean up. Aunt Marza." I read the note out loud and crumbled it up, throwing it into the trash. Huh, funny how she never signs anything to me with 'love'. She never even says it.
Doesn't bother me though, I don't love them either. Well, I do, because they are my Aunt and Uncle, but I don't love them like I would parents. I sighed at the thought of my parents and grabbed the bowl of food, not caring what it was, and started digging in. I finished eating and washed the bowl and spoon off, putting it in the dishwasher. I looked at the clock and saw it read nine-thirty.
Wow, I was so used to yelling that I never noticed how eerily quiet this house was. I slowly walked out of the kitchen and into the entry way, running my hand along the wall. I walked into the living room and flopped onto the couch, turning on the TV. I flipped through a couple channels, landing on a documentary about serial killers. I decided it wouldn't hurt to watch one episode, but ended up watching five before I turned the television off. I sighed and looked up at the ceiling. What if I became a serial killer? I mean, I know knew where to hide bodies, what to do to make sure no one suspects me. I contemplated for a minute before I let out a small laugh.
Yeah right. Like I could become a serial killer.
I got up from the couch and decided to take a shower and head to bed. It was almost midnight anyway, and being awake and alone in this huge empty house was suffocating. I wouldn't be here for long, though. Because tomorrow, my master plan was being set in motion.

"That's not how you divide that Lysander." Adeline sighed, putting down her pencil. I honestly was doing this on purpose.
Because my plan was to have my Aunt and Uncle catch us doing it. That would surely piss them off.
I smirked and put down my pencil as well, turning to face her. She looked up at me and blushed causing me to chuckle.
"Why don't we change the roles today?" I suggested, placing my hand on her thigh. She chose to wear a skirt today. Perfect.
"I don't think so. Mr. and Mrs. Krause want me to teach you, so that is what I'm doing." She said, her tone serious, but her face still burning something fierce. Her eyes never once met mine when she spoke and that made me want to burst out laughing. This was too easy.
"But they won't be home for another hour." That was a lie. They would be home in thirty minutes, which is why this needed to hurry up. Adeline shook her head and went to pick up her pencil, but I quickly snatched it from her hand. She looked at me in frustration before standing up and walking to the other side of the table.
It's like she knows what I plan to do.
I got up and walked in front of her, pushing her back against the table. "You're a good girl, so I know you don't know anything about this." I ran my hand up her thigh and she shivered. The corners of my lips twitched. Putty in my hands. I brought my lips to her neck and started kissing down it, hearing her moan and pant. I slowly started to slide my hands up farther, toying with the lace of her undies. She put her hands on my chest and started to push me away.
"We can't. I could lose my job if we're caught." She said breathlessly but I ignored her and moved my other hand up to her shirt. I started undoing the buttons and pulling it back so I could kiss the skin. This caused her to lean back against the table, the clatter of our books and calculators hitting the ground filling the air. I let my fingers curl under and pull down her underwear.
"Do you want this?" I whispered in her ear. She moaned and I took that as a yes. I moved her so she was lying with her back on the table and slid her pink lace panties down to her ankles. I could already see how wet she was and it my chest filled with a feeling of triumph. I leaned forward, about to teach her and thing or two, when I heard the front door open, followed by gasps.
"Cosa diavolo pensi che stai facendo? Scendere quel tavolo questo istante! I cannot believe you would do this while we are gone." My Aunt yelled, throwing her purse on the chair beside the door. Adeline jumped from the table, pulling her underwear back up and I could see the tears already falling down her red cheeks.
"Why are you so worked up? I am a nineteen year old boy with needs." I said nonchalantly and I saw my Uncles face go red with anger.
"Nineteen? You say you are nineteen? Nineteen is an adult in my book, and you are not that. Adeline, please return home. We will be calling your parents later."
"Please, you can't! I – He forced me!" She blurted and I rolled my eyes.
"I'm pretty sure I asked you if you wanted it and you moaned like a whore."
"Lysander!" My Uncle yelled and I looked at him with a bored expression. Adeline quickly gathered her things and left, her wails being heard all the way outside.
"I don't know where we have gone wrong." My Aunt began, shaking her head and covering her mouth. "We took you in. We gave you everything, and this is how you treat us?"
"Did you ever stop to think that maybe I didn't want to be what you wanted?" I asked and she looked at me confused.
"Of course we did! When you showed no interest in sports, we put you in music classes to see if it would spark any interests. When that failed, we tried debate team, school council. We were trying to find your calling!"
"What if I don't have one!" I yelled. This caused both my Aunt and Uncle to look at me in shock. "What if I just wanted to be my own person, do my own thing? All you guys do is shove shit down my throat and punish me when I do something that doesn't fit your standards." MY Aunt looked at my Uncle and opened her mouth to speak, but he shook his head and turned to me.
"We hoped it wouldn't come to this, but obviously you prove us wrong. Pack your things, you have a flight to Greece tomorrow morning." They walked out of the room, leaving me alone. This was what I wanted. I wanted them to kick me out. I wanted to be alone. So why did I feel just that, alone?
Mom, Dad. I know you're probably shaking your head in disappointment at me right now, and I wanted to say that I'm sorry. But maybe Greece will be better for me.
Maybe.
