We were standing in the field behind the old school building. Kiba stood a bit away from me and the [Exorcist] girls, Shidō and Quarta, stood across from us. Our surroundings is enveloped by a barrier made up of red aura with the others standing on the outside.

Quarta wanted to test the servants of Gremory and now we were here. Shidō and Quarta both had their respective [Excalibur] swords in form and unsheathed respectively... They think a piece of [Excalibur] is the reason they are going to be able to get the others back from Kokabiel... They need to be shown that they are wrong and arrogant to believe that a weapon makes a person strong.

"Even if it's just a match, be cautious of the [Holy Swords]!" Kaichou warned.

Despite already knowing that fact, I nodded while bringing out [Shigure Kintoki] and [Yubashiri] from my [Inventory] before going into my [Shigure Soen Ryu, 11th Form: Akeru Ame] battle stance, which transformed [Shigure Kintoki] into its blade form. If I got a serious wound by either of those swords, it would be game over. There would be nothing left of me.

Kiba summoned more [Demonic Swords] around us and she was... Laughing? I think she's lost it "...Are you okay?" I asked, a bit unsettled by the laughter she displayed before our 2 serious opponents.

"I've never been better. The thing I wanted to defeat, to destroy and its right in front of me. I'm happy, fufufu~" She continued laughing in the cold way she was "I had even heard that by being close to a Devil and a Dragon, 'powers' would gather. But for me to encounter it this early..."

...I guess she's referring to Hyōdō, as she's a Devil with a [Sacred Gear] that holds a Dragon's soul inside it.

"...[Sword Birth], huh. The possessor can create any demonic-sword they imagine in their head. It's unique among the [Demonic Sword] related [Sacred Gears]... I heard that there was a 'subject' that avoided from being disposed by the [Holy Sword Project]... Is that you?" Quarta asked. Kiba didn't respond at first, but I could sense her killing intent increase.

"My power is also the power made by my comrades' hatred, who were killed while filled with regret!" Kiba declared "I will beat those with [Excalibur] with this power, and I will destroy that [Excalibur]!"

"She's my target Kiba, deal with Shidō over there." I said while lighting up my katanas with [Sky Flames]. I always wonder if different characteristics cancel out each other, like [Destruction] against [Harmony].

"Aaah, it must be a trial to find out my friend, Chi-chan, has became a Devil while I was away. A harsh destiny where my childhood friend has turned into a Devil! The way time moves is harsh! But by moving forward, I will turn into someone with the true belief towards God! Now! I will give judgment to you with this [Excalibur]! Amen!" Shidō spoke eagerly, her eyes sparkling.

Mittelt, Leone, Hyōdō and Himejima-san were all radiating killing intent towards Quarta... I can't blame them, as Quarta is being a bitch towards Asia.

I noticed that Quarta regarded my swords and smirked as she charged "No sword can stand up to [Excalibur]!" Quarta called as she jumped into the air and brought [Excalibur Destruction] down on me. I crossed my own swords over my head to meet it.

*clin!* *clin!*

I smirked, seeing that my swords had survived their clash with [Excalibur Destruction], even with the twenty metre wide crater that had formed under our feet. If I'm not wrong, it seems that [Harmony] is superior to [Destruction].

"How?" Quarta and Shidō asked in shock at the same time, and even I noticed that Pendragon-san is surprised by this event.

"You will hurt yourself if your attention is on Kōjiro-kun!" Kiba shouted with a smirk as she and Shidō started to clash, the blondie using her [Demonic Swords] against [Excalibur Mimic].

"How can those swords survive against my [Excalibur Destruction]? It's the incarnation of destruction." Quarta said in surprise and disbelief as she stepped back from me.

I playfully raised an eyebrow at her with a smirk, I can't help the altered quote that is going to come out from my mouth "I'm not a cliché anime protagonist... Do you seriously think I would explain things to you if there were even the slightest possibility you could affect the outcome?"

I swung [Shigure Kintoki] to clash with Quarta's sword again,*clin!* *crash!* and we fought to overpower each other as the crater under us deepened and widened from the power of [Excalibur Destruction].

Now let's turn up the heat.

Turning the [Sky Flames] on my blades into [Flames of Wrath], I swung [Yubashiri] at [Excalibur Destruction] *clin!* *crash!* and pushed back her back. I saw her eyes widen and I understood why, her sword had a small chip in it.

As the [Harmony] characteristic with the [Flames of Wrath] overpowers the [Destruction] characteristic of [Excalibur Destruction], the [Disintegration] characteristic of my flame is damaging [Excalibur Destruction] if our swords continue to clash.

Her pause allowed me to take full advantage, as I appeared before her and kicked her in the gut that launched her back several feet while her sword remained tightly in her grip "Cannon fodder like I said." I spoke seriously, resting my swords at my sides as I waited for Quarta to make the next move.

Quarta groaned as she pulled herself back to her feet, scowling at me as I was tapping my right foot in a taunting manner while I looked at her with a small smirk on my face "I'm waiting~"

I couldn't help a snort from suppressed laughter as I was reminded of a certain blue hedgehog from Quarta's scowl. She charged at me again, swinging her sword horizontally.

*clin!* *crash!* I easily blocked the attack with [Shigure Kintoki], held in a reverse grip, and a small crack starting to form on her sword as the crater underneath us deepened.

We continue our clash as the crater became deeper as we go on, with [Excalibur Deatruction] getting more damaged in the long run. I noticed that Quarta is growing angrier as she started to swing even more harder and many openings started to show up but I didn't went for the killing strike, I have no reason to kill her.

I saw my opponent jumped back to get out of the crater, unleashing a wave of holy aura at me... I guess that she's frustrated that her sword is getting damaged by a Devil and his flaming swords.

Breath in...

[Shigure Soen Ryu, 6th Form: Gofuu Juuu].

I dodged Quarta's attack and appeared in above her before bringing down my blades at her.

[10th Form: Bettola di Rondine!]

*CLIN!!!* *CLIN!!!* *crack!* *crash!* Quarta blocked it, for a price... I smirked as I saw the large crack marks that formed from the blow of my attack, while Quarta's eyes widen in surprise and horror. It's understandable, as something that she never would have expected to happen, happened before her eyes.

I kicked Quarta in the chest while she's out of it, sending her back again as I landed on the ground again. I looked at Quarta again and saw a bloodthirsty smirk on her face... I can only guess that she's enjoying our fight, and she aware that I am not giving it my all.

"You should know that if we continue, your [Excalibur Destruction] will break in the process." I told her while resting my swords at my sides again as I waited for Quarta's response.

But what I said is true, [Excalibur Destruction] will break if we continue our fight unless I turn the [Flames of Wrath] on my swords back into [Sky Flames] again. The only response that I received from Quarta is her charging at me again... I can't help but wonder if she's doing this out of pride or because she just wants to keep fighting me and beat me.

Well, I suppose that I should be more merciful now.

Turning the [Flames of Wrath] on my swords into [Sky Flames] again, *clin!* *crash!* I easily blocked the diagonal slash that she sent towards me with [Shigure Kintoki]. I saw her send a kick towards me, but I blocked it with my right leg.

I saw her twirl on one foot, Quarta used the momentum from the her spin to increase the power of her next horizontal slash. *clin!* *crash!* I blocked the attack with [Yubashiri], held in a reverse grip.

...Time to end this.

I used [Bo-Bup] to appear behind Quarta and putting out the flames in my swords before pressing the tip of [Shigure Kintoki] against the back of her neck, making her freeze in her spot "Checkmate." I said to her before walking away towards Kiba, who was in pain with a cut across her stomach.

Storing away my swords, I kneeled down and created a basketball size orb of [Sun Flames] in my right hand "[Sun's Embrace]." I said as rays of yellow energy left the yellow ball of flames and bathed the injured Devil before I stopped when I saw the cut disappear.

"Irina! Xenovia! It's time to go!" I heard Pendragon-san said as I felt their auras move away this place.

I helped Kiba stand up before asking her a serious question "So... What did you learn?"

"[Excalibur]... It's tougher than I thought." Kiba replied with a scowl... I kinda expected that answer from her but that doesn't mean that I won't correct her with her current attitude.

"No... You would have lost against any [Holy Sword] in Shidō's hands even if it wasn't [Excalibur]... You let your emotions take control and that's why you lost." I told her, making her glare at me before she tried to push me away, but I grabbed her wrists to prevent from doing that at all "Remember what I told you last night, I'll help you by guiding you towards your real target... Not the [Excalibur] fragments but the person who started the [Holy Sword Project]."

I noticed that Kiba calmed down a bit, so I let her go as she walked off "Hold on! Yumi!" Gremory cried out to the blondie but I held up my hand, silencing her.

"Let her cool off a bit, she needs some time for herself." I told the red head before noticing that Kaichou looking at me, looks like she wants to talk with me.

"So they don't have a way to contact the leader of Heaven?" I asked Kaichou as I sat in front of her inside the Student Council room. Shirna-san stood behind Kaichou like usual and the Fallen Angel trio sitting beside me with the exception of Mittelt, whose sitting on my lap at the moment. Leone lay on my shoulder, sleeping as usual.

"Hai." Kaichou said as she crossed her arms "Even if Pendragon-san was lying to me, I wouldn't doubt that she won't contact Heaven even if her life depends on it."

"So they're doing a mission that Heaven is unaware of? Such loyal followers that the Biblical God and his Angels have in the Church." I said the last sentence with complete sarcasm, getting nods of agreement from everyone else minus Leone, before becoming serious again "So, the only people that we can ask for back-up are from the Grigori and the [Maōs]."

"*sigh*...I wished that things shouldn't went to this." Kaichou commented with a sigh before creating a magic circle on the floor at her right, I looked at Kalawarner and she nodded in response before creating a magic circle of her own near Kaichou's.

Projects formed from the magic circles, with 2 figures forming from them. From Kaichou's magic circle is a beautiful girl looking in her late teens with long, black hair, tied into twin tails and blue eyes. She also has a child-like body, albeit with large breasts and is wearing... A magical girl's clothing from Magical Girl Milky Spiral 7 (the same outfit that Mil-tan wears), magic wand and all, and she fits it way better than Mil-tan.

The person that appeared from Kalawarner's magic circle is a tall man appearing to be in his twenties with an average build, black hair, golden bangs and black goatee. He wears a maroon trench coat, dark grey pants, brown shoes and numerous belts around him.

(Ara, So-tan? Why did you called me? Wait! Is this moment that you'll confess you everlasting love for your Onee-sama so we can do lots and lots of ecchi things together!? Sera-tan so happy that she's going to cry out of joy and tell the whole world it!) Leviathan-san exclaimed in a very cute and high pitched voice in a childish manner that's very fitting of her appearance.

...I'm not going to say anything about her words, it'll save me the trouble of figuring what the hell is wrong with Leviathan-san

"Onee-sama..." Kaichou closed her eyes out of embarrassment from what I can tell... I guess that she's not really the type of person that's used to having people proclaiming their love towards her in a over the top fashion, I would be the same in her shoes.

(Serafall? Is that you?) Azazel-san asked, gaining said girl's attention (Kalawarner, what's going on here?)

"Forgive me Azazel-sama, but I did this from a request of a friend that needs to talk with you and Leviathan-sama." Kalawarner explained while bowing her head.

I gave a signal to Mittelt to get off my lap, which she did before I stood up and step forward to face the leaders "Greetings to both of you, Governor Azazel-san and [Maō Leviathan], my name is Raiga Kōjiro and I'm here to speak with you 2 about of a possible new Great War." I told the 2 powerful beings with a short bow in the best diplomatic manner that I can do, getting sharp looks from them.

(Please explain.) Azazel-san ordered, which I nodded in response.

I told them about the events that happened earlier: The appearances of 3 [Exorcists], the reason why they are here in Kuoh and their demands. I noticed that Azazel-san and Leviathan-san haven't changed their expression while I did my explanation, that show the calm and calculating personas that a strong leader should possess.

(Yare, Yare, Kokabiel sure know how to cause some serious trouble.) Azazel-san while rubbing his goatee.

(Serious trouble is putting it lightly, Azazel-chan.) Leviathan-san said seriously before turning towards me with a smile (Thank you for tell this to us, Raiga-chan. You've helped prevent the already fragile 'relationship' between the 3 Fractions from breaking.)

"I did what I believed was the most logical route, but can I ask for some back-up from the Grigori and the Underworld? I'm not sure about the amount of forces that Kokabiel has gathered and I'm not going to believe that he's going to start a war by himself, that's just stupid."

(Indeed...) Azazel nodded in agreement with my words (I have someone in the Grigori that can put down Kokabiel without a problem, but she's in a mission right now so I can only send her to Kuoh when she comes back. We, the [Cardes], cannot stop him ourselves as we're going to find out if Kokabiel has more followers amongst our ranks.)

I nodded, understanding his situation. It would be troublesome if there are more warmongers in the Grigori that will continue the path that Kobabiel wants the Fallen Angels to follow.

(I'm going to talk about this with Sirzechs-chan, Ajuka-chan and Falbium-chan to see who we can deploy, Raiga-chan.) Leviathan-san said with a serious expression for a split second before her smile returned (For now, please protect my precious So-tan from the bad crow and his little worms! But if you do any ecchi things to her or hurt her... I'll erase you with the glittering stick!)

To give an example, she waved her wand that actual released glitters... Despite not knowing her full power, I'm not stupid to ignore her warning as I'm sure that she can erase me without much of a problem as I am right now.

[ONEE-SAMA!!!] Kaichou shouted at her older sister with a very red face, I find it adorable and very amusing. The usual strict and calm Kaichou is showing such a face is unbelievable, but worth seeing.

(If that's all, then I have some work to do.) Azazel-san said with an amused smile. I nodded before his projection vanished and Leviathan-san did the same after doing a magical girl pose.

"...You have a very interesting and amusing Onee-san, Kaichou." I commented with a teasing smile as I watched Kaichou taking a few breathes to calm herself down, but I have this urge to tease her "But I didn't knew that you have a cute nickname, So-tan~"

"Don't call me that!" Kaichou whined... That's so cute. I wished that I have a camera to take a picture of it for myself, and embarrass her when given the chance "This is all Onee-sama's fault... Now I'm getting teased by..."

I didn't got to hear what else she had to say, as she started mumbling to herself too quietly that I can't understand her words "Well, I think it's time for us to go home now." I said, getting nods in response from the ladies as my companions and I left the room.

- 2 hours later -

"...Is something the matter, Ray?" I asked the raven haired woman, who sat beside me in my bed dressed in a long white shirt that reached down to her thighs with a few buttons open.

"I'm scared, Raiga..." I looked at her in surprise and it's not just she called me by my name, but the way she said those words... She sounds so vulnerable and terrified. I don't understand why, but I feel my heart aching from the way she's talking right now.

"Of Kokabiel?" I didn't need to asked to know, but my intuition told me to do so anyways.

"Not just him..." Ray admitted with her head down, her bangs shadowing her eyes "I am scared on what might happen to us if we fight against him and his army... I'm more terrified on that you might die, fighting against him."

I looked at her in shock, not expecting her to care for me that much that she fears my death in the hands of Kokabiel... Truly, a simple act of mercy can change others "You're really that worried about me?"

"Obviously! Baka!" Ray shouted, looking at my direction with a few tears rolling down her eyes... And there the aching of my heart again "I don't want you die! I want to stay with you for a long time!"

Those words... D-does she have strong feelings for me? "A-are you say that you're in love with me?" I asked, trying to make sure that I'm right. Only people that loves someone in a romantic way would say those words.

The answer that I received is Ray's lips were pressed against mine. She placed her hands on the side of my face as my eyes widen in shock. I didn't question it, there's no need to. I just wanted to enjoy the shocking bliss between us for a bit longer.

When Ray pulled away, she was crying again. But now she was genuinely smiling with a blushing face.

"...How?"

"Ufufufu~ The question is, how can a girl not fall in love with a great guy like you?" Ray asked before laying her head on my shoulder "You show mercy to me, a former enemy, and treated me with kindness, despite my cold attitude towards you in the beginning... It doesn't help that you're a bit handsome as well."

I couldn't help the blush from appearing my face... This is the first time such a beautiful woman has ever confessed her love to me, and this is also the first time a girl confessed to me in this life and my previous life as well.

I saw her moved to sit on my lap, her hands on my face and she made me look at her "Please... Let me give you the pleasure of a woman's body."
