It was 8:30 am as I sat in 1 of the chairs in my dining room at home. I was telling Asia, Kalawarner, Mittelt and Ray about the events that happened in the [Rating Gane] while we're eating breakfast. They were very happy that the team didn't lose the battle and I was about to come back home.

"Sounds like all of you had fun." Asia commented with a smile before taking a sip from her glass of apple juice.

"There weren't anyone challenging in the battle and I didn't felt like playing around with the serious stakes on line." Leone answered before stabbing a fried chicken nugget and consuming it.

"All I did were surprise attacks, nothing too exciting to be honest." I said while taking a drink of my coffee.

"Still, it's good to have you back here Kōjiro-kun." Ray said with a small smile on her face.

"Yep! This place wouldn't be the same if Raiga wasn't here anymore." Mittelt said with a fanged smile while Kalwarner nodded with a smile as well.

I smiled at my friends... No. Asia, Kalawarner, Leone, Mittelt and Ray are my family now. We might not be blood related, family bonds can still be formed with unrelated strangers as long you have known and care for each other like a real family would do.

I'm lucky to built this little family of ours, and I'll protect this family no matter what.

- the next day -

This is boring...

I'm dressed in a formal tuxedo in the bustling hall that had been turned into the party venue. The party is to celebrate Gremory's win in the [Rating Game] against Phenex, which annoyed me.

She hadn't contributed enough to our win, since she didn't defeat any of Phenex's servants and I made the plans for our victory without losing anyone in the team... The only reasons that I can think of why she's the person getting the most praise is because she's our [King] and the heiress of the House of Gremory, nothing else.

...I wonder what Asia, Kalawarner, Leone, Mittelt and Ray would be doing now, as they weren't allowed into the Underworld for the party and for obvious racist reasons. Growing bored already, I took a look around to see what's happening to the others:

Gremory is in the middle of a small group of people, no doubt congratulating her on 'her' victory. Himejima-san, Hyōdō, Kiba and Tōjō were surrounded by admirers while, with Hyōdō seems to be trying escape from her fans and seemed to be looking at my direction. There was several groups of young women glancing at me every so often before gossiping with others... There seems to be lots more ladies here then men here.

"Not enjoying the party?" I heard a voice from my back, which surprised me as I didn't felt anyone sneak up on me. This person must be really quick and good on suppressing their aura that I couldn't detect them.

"Not really..." I replied before turning towards the source and saw a young woman in her late teens with a slender physique and soft, white skin. She has golden hair that seems a pale in colour. Her elegant face has a happy smile on it and she wears a Taisho style Kimono consisting a Hakama and long leather boots.

This person is Japanese, no debating.

I trailed off, to show that I don't know her. I'm not going to use [Obverse] on everybody. She got the hint and gave a small bow "Okita Sōji, [Knight] of Sirzech Lucifer."

"Raiga Kōjiro..." I introduced myself with a bow of my own before her name registered into my mind...

"W-wait a sec! Okita Sōji!? As in, the former captain of the 1st unit of the Shinsengumi! That Okita!?" I asked in shock, as I didn't expect a legendary person like Okita to appear and especially to be a girl... This only proves that history books aren't always trustworthy when it comes to info of historical people.

"Hai!" Okita-dono said with a happy smile as she sat beside the chair near me "I'm the great and only Okita!"

...And yet other person that I have no idea on who strong they're. I can only have 1 conclusion, people like Lucifuge-san and Okita-dono are absolute monsters that I'm not going to crossing against right now. I'm not surprised with the extra info that was missing from Kiba herself.

I noticed a young man with black hair and violet eyes approach where Okita-dono and I are sitting right now. He is very tall and has a muscular build, no doubt from extreme physical training.

Another person that's crazy in physical strengths, yet is obviously shit when it comes to magic... His [Title] as [The Lion King] made me curious of him, as this is the first time I've seen a being to have a shared [Title] with someone else.

"Raiga Kōjiro? I'm Sairaorg Bael, I wanted to congratulate you on your victory against Riser, especially after taking out most of his peerage." Sairaorg-san spoke, offering a handshake to me. I took hold of his hand and shook while giving a nod at the same time in thanks.

"Arigato... Just wished that I could have used my swords in the fight."

"Oho? So you're a swordsman like Yumi-chan, Kōjiro-kun?" Okita-dono asked with interest in her eyes, I guess that I became more interesting to her as I knew her (through a history book) and I'm a swordsman like her "Do you have a sword style that you're proud off?"

"Hai, the [Shigure Soen Ryu]."

"...It been awhile since I heard that sword style." Okita-dono said while a certain look appeared on her face, the kind where you're remembering something during the good old days "I remember fighting against a person who used the [Shigure Soen Ryu] during final years of the Bakumatsu era... It was a really hard fight and I nearly lost, if it wasn't for the fact that man was already injured before we fought."

That's interesting, I've never heard of that story in the books... But I guess that there are more personal tales from Okita-dono that she kept it for herself. And to hear that a practicer of the [Shigure Soen Ryu] nearly defeated this legendary Man-Slayer, I can't feel pride for my sword style.

"I must admit I would quite like to spar with you, Raiga Kōjiro, but it would probably ruin the evening's plans." Sairaorg-san spoke disappointed. I raised an eyebrow with an amused smile on my face, it's just a few seconds of conversation and I'm already liking him in a friendly way.

"Trust me, I would prefer to accept your offer than to stay in this boring event." I admitted with a wave of my left hand "I'm pretty sure that we'll have great workout."

"I guess that you and I are much more alike." Sairaorg-san commented with a smirk.

"Everyone, can I have your attention!" A calm and friendly rang from my left, making me turning to look see a young man in his early 20 with shoulder length crimson red hair and blue-green eyes, similar to Gremory. In fact, I could describe him as the male version of Gremory.

...Other than seeing another monster, this is the first being that I've ever seen to have so many [Titles] and [Fames] before "That's my Master, Sirzechs Lucifer-sama, 1 of the current [Maō] and originally the heir of the House of Gremory." Okita-dono stated.

"I see... He looks like a bit feminine, to be honest." I commented without care, while I heard a giggle from Okita-dono. It would never expect this [Man Slayer] to be a laid back person, but I guess that we just have personal meet and understand a legend to know who they truly are.

"Now as you all know, this party is to celebrate my cute sister's victory in the [Rating Game] against Riser Phenex. And as you all have seen if you've watched the video yourselves then you will know that 1 of her servants was the main bringer of this victory." He said before turning towards my direction "Raiga Kōjiro-kun, will you please come up here."

What is he planning? I thought with a raised eyebrow while noticing that everyone turn to give me a curious look. Taking a moment to stand up and walk through the crowd of people. I noticed the confused look on Gremory and my fellow servants' faces while walking past them before stopping a few feet in front of Sirzechs, whose small faltered when I just looked on with an emotionless expression.

"Raiga Kōjiro-kun... To be able to defeat 5 of Riser's group during the [Rating Game], including Riser himself and his [Queen], is impressive for someone so new to our world. And as such, you deserve a reward that fits with the increase in your reputation."

...I didn't feel like accepting his reward after hearing his boring speech, and I got this feeling that I'm not going to like it anyways "You can pick any single High Class She-Devil here, even my cute little sister, and you will be put into an arranged marriage with them."

Seriously... That's the reward I get from beating 6 of Phenex's servants and making the man slut submit? It's stupid "Thanks but no thanks... I'm not going to accept the 'reward'." I said the last word in a sarcastic manner. I saw the look of bewilderment crossing Sirzechs' face and I didn't need to look around to know that everyone else is shocked by me refusal.

"I would have thought that after Gremory's engagement to Phenex, you would have learned that arranged marriages don't work... And I have no intentions of being in an arranged marriage with someone I don't love. And I'll be taking my leave now." Was all I said before creating a magic cirlce underneath myself and vanishing from everyone's view.

- 4 hours later -

"So, *tack!* anything interesting *tack!* that happened *tack!* to you *tack!*?"

"Other than *tack!* freeing a red head from *tack!* *tack!* her horrible ending *tack!* with a man slut, *tack!* nothing else.*tack!*"

"*tack!* Was that guy really that bad? *tack!* *tack!*"

"He has this face that says *tack!* 'Please punch my face. Punch it *tack!* with everything you got.' when you meet him *tack!* and he openly makes out with another woman *tack!* *tack!* *tack!* in front of his fiancé."

"*tack!* *tack!*...When you put it that way, *tack!* he really sounds like a man slut."

"Still *tack!* I'm a bit sad that *tack!* *tack!* I *tack!* couldn't use the *tack!* [Shigure Soen Ryu] Forms and *tack!* my swords in the battle. *tack!*"

"You'll get your chance... *tack!* *tack!* *tack!* *tack!* You're really improving *tack!* with using 2 swords!"

"Thanks. *tack!*."

I jumped back to gain some space between me and Yamamoto-san before dropping 1 of my bokkens and kicking it towards Yamamoto-san in high speed from the force of my kick.

[Shigure Soen Ryu, 3rd Form: Yarazu no Ame!]

Yamamoto-san dodged the attack by doing a side step but that gave me time to charge forward and attack him with a thrust strike as a follow up with my first attack.

[From Yarazu no Ame to 1st Form: Shajiku no Ame!]

My mentor once again dodged my attack before he did his own 'attack'... I watched him perform the [5th From: Samidare] but I jumped into the air to dodged just in time as Yamamoto-san followed it up with [7th From: Shinotsuku Ame].

I slashed the air with my bokkens and launched water waves towards my sparring partner.

[9th Form: Attacco Gemello di Rondine!]

Yamamoto-san dodge the waves with relative ease. When [Attacco Gemello di Rondine!] slammed on the wooden floor, it exploded and caused cut shaped craters on it "...I guess that training is over for now." Yamamoto-san said while I landed on the ground.

"I'll pay for the damage."

"¥20000."

- an hour later -

After eating dinner, Kalawarner, Leone, Mittelt, Ray and I decided to rest before going on with our training. As of now, we're currently facing a horde of ghouls, vampires and zombies in the [Instant Dungeon]. I have to admit, fighting against something more human is a bit interesting as some of the Vampires can actually use magic like in the [Elder Scrolls] games.

"This things are harder to kill than the zombies!" Kalawarner shouted while shoving down a Light Sword on a Ghoul's throat before she used it to smack away another Ghoul that tried to sneak up on her.

"Well, the Vampires react to things in a more human manner while the Ghouls are more agile than the Witches." I pointed out while cutting down a Witch with a [Sun Flame] covered [Shigure Kintoki].

I jumped to the side in order to dodge a lightning bolt that nearly struck me before using [Bo-Bup] to appear above the Vampire that casted the spell and cutting it down from its head with [Yubashiri] in half.

[Shigure Soen Ryu, 10th Form: Bettola di Rondine!]

I held [Shigure Kintoki] in a reverse grip and covered my blades in [Rain Flames] before spinning to create a whirlwind-like shield made of [Rain Flames], in order to block the ice spears that were thrown at me.

[From Bettola di Rondine to 5th Form: Shibuki Ame!]

I instantly used [Bo-Bup] to appear behind a vampire in a the middle before cutting it vertically while 4 large geysers of [Rain Flames] suddenly erupted around me, which sent about 4 zombies, 2 Vampire and 5 Ghouls into the air.

[From Shibuki Ame to 7th Form: Shinotsuku Ame!]

I stabbed [Yubashiri] on the ground before holding up my free hand upward "[Liger's Roar]!" I declared before firing a large burst of [Flames of Wrath] towards the airborne enemies.

[Liger's Roar] concentrates more on the characteristics that the [Flames of Wrath] posses, [Harmony] and [Disintegration], rather than the output of the flames. So the effects of attack is that it's petrifying the target(s) before destroying thr petrified parts after a few seconds. This technique is meant to breaking down any form of defence.

I pulled out [Yubashiri] from the ground before facinging a group of ghouls and Vampire running towards me. Placing my swords forward with [Shigure Kintoki] above [Yubashiri] before preforming a scissor like slash while the swords are lightly brushing against each other and sending a larger wave of [Rain Flames] then the regular [Attacco di Rondine] towards the group when they were 15 foot away from me.

[9th From: Grande Attacco di Rondine!]

I saw that Ghouls were smart enough to jump into the air in order to dodge the wave, while the zombies were hit and crushed by it, but the Ghouls aren't going to be safe anymore. Gripping [Shigure Kintoki] slightly tighter, I start thrusting the katana numerous times towards the airborne enemies in a fast pace without any mercy.

[Grande Attacco di Rondine to 8th Form: Beccata di Rondine!]

My strikes hit home, with most if them got nothing to do but take thrusts of blades. After stabbing them enough, I watch them fall on the ground, dead like they should be from the start-

I felt a powerful vampire flying towards me direct and fast. I instantly [Bo-Bup] to the appear above the Vampire before stabbing it with my katanas, only for it to transform into bats and dodge my attack.

After landing on the ground, I looked at the direction where the bays are going and saw them reform a familiar monstrous being. I didn't expect a [Vampire Lord] to appear here... And why am I starting to hear Erza Scarlet's theme in background? Why is it happening now?

...I'll just ignore it.

I charged at the [Vampire Lord] and attack it with a thrust strike with my swords covered in [Rain Flames].

[1st Form: Niruida Shajiku no Ame!]

I was surprised that the [Vampire Lord] was able to catch my swords, but I can't let myself be careless. I let go of my swords and did the quickly [Flank Strike], staggering it a bit and forcing it to release my swords.

I quickly grabbed my swords, covered them in [Rain Flames] and did a double rising slash at the Vampire Lord and unleashing 2 waves of [Rain Flames] at it.

[9th Form: Attacco Gemello di Rondine!]

The attacks hit home, an large explosion of water occurred and I saw the [Vampire Lord] getting blown back from my attack, but still 'alive' none the less. The monster right itself in mid air... And flew into the sky.

...Why the fuck can this [Vampire Lord] here can fly into the air and yet I can't when I was still playing [Skyrim] as a [Vampire Lord] myself!? That's cheap as shit and unfair to any player that wants to fly as a monstrous force!

Igniting [Flames of Wrath] on my feet, I shot myself into the air in order to fight the Vampire Lord. Channeling the [Rain Flames] on my swords to cast a spell "[Tranquility Swallows]." I declared before 16 swallow made of [Rain Flames] came out from the [Rain Flames] on my swords and flew around me. Mentally commanding them to attack the [Vampire Lord], they all flew towards the target.

My opponent transformed into bats again to evade a pincer attack of the swallows and I looked at the area where they're reforming before flying forward with the [Tranquility Swallows] around me. I slashed at it when it finished reforming itself and I drew black blood from it before flying back-

I felt an invisible hand clutching my neck harshly, choking me. I-it has [Vampiric Grip]!? Th-that's not good!

Mentally commanding the swallows to crash against the [Vampier Lord], which they did and I was thrown away because the undead blood sucker swings its claw that was casting the [Vampiric Grip] to swat away a [Tranquility Swallows]. I right myself in the midair and took breaths of air that my lungs are begging to have inside.

This is going to a harder fight than I though... Time to take this seriously.

I casually entered my [Hyper Dying Will Mode] before shooting towards the slowed down [Vampire Lord].

Breath in... Out [6th Form: Gofuu Juuu].

Just when I was near the [Vampire Lord], I start thrusting at it numerous times with [Yubashiri] and [Shigure Kintoki] in a fast pace without any mercy.

[Gofuu Juuu to 8th Form: Beccati di Gemello Rondini!]

After stabbing the [Vampire Lord] about 100 times, I stopped and watched as the powerful Vampire down into the ground with black blood spilling from its wounds. I landed near it and cut off its head to make sure that it won't comeback alive.

I looked around and saw that the girls are still fighting and there 50 more monsters left... The night is still young, so might as well grind some more.
