"IT'S NOT THE REAL SLYTHERIN LOCKET", DUMBLEDORE DECLARED. victoria and harry immediately looked at the small note that resided inside the locket, signed by r.a.b.
"who's r.a.b??"
dumbledore thought for a moment before he spoke up once again.
"I have a vague idea of where it is. focus on finding the rest", dumbledore advised.
"how many are there in total?", victoria asked, starting to feel a bit annoyed at all the tasks at hand.
dumbledore slightly hesitated. "six".
"and how many have we all collectively found?", harry questioned.
"two have been destroyed. I believe I will reach the slytherin locket. which means there are three more you two have to find".
"what are they? better yet, where are they?", victoria scowled.
much less to say, harry was slightly surprised by the girl's feisty attitude towards dumbledore, but the old wizard didn't seem to mind.
"it is possibly that with the slytherin lockets, the hufflepuff cup and ravenclaw diadem could be horcruxes too", dumbledore answered. "I also suspect tom's pet snake, nagini".
"why not godric's sword?", victoria asked, realizing that the man had aimed for nearly all the founders' items.
"godric's sword will only present itself to gryffindors. tom wouldn't have been able to find it since he was a slytherin", dumbledore replied.
"do you have any idea where the hufflepuff cup and ravenclaw diadem is, professor?", harry asked.
both sixth-years knew that those items would be easier to retrieve and destroy than nagini, who was always beside voldemort.
"bellatrix's vault", victoria suddenly answered, making both wizards look up.
"she's one of his most trusted death eaters. there's nearly no doubt about it", victoria straightforwardly said.
"how would you know?", harry questioned, making victoria suddenly realize the boy wasn't aware of her position.
"if that's the case, then I suppose you two should visit gringotts then", dumbledore intercepted, making victoria slightly relieved.
"and the diadem?"
"one at a time harry".

"again?!"
"well you don't have to come with if you don't want to. I just thought I'd inform you that harry and I will be making another trip elsewhere", victoria smiled, polishing her firebolt.
"why's it always harry? and where are you guys even going?? what was the point of the trip last time?", draco questioned all at once, overwhelming the girl.
victoria turned around as she just smiled once again.
"my apologies darling, but I cannot disclose such information to you right now", victoria said as she got ready to head out with harry.
"then when?!"
victoria could tell that draco was getting tired and frustrated of being treated like a glass item. he wanted in; he wanted to know what was going on.
"next year. in fact, why don't we take a break from school next year?", victoria suggested, making draco baffled at how the girl had came up with such a ridiculous idea.
"it's our last year—"
"exactly! we should take a vacation. mm...maybe france? or egypt? I heard america's quite the place too", victoria casually remarked as draco was still wrapping his mind around what the girl had just said.
"why're you suddenly—"
"because", victoria interrupted. "I need a small getaway from here...and...all these people. it was just an offer, you don't have to come if you don't want to", victoria said as she hastily left, leaving draco alone in the slytherin common room.
meanwhile draco pondered the consequences of missing the most important year, victoria had already met up with harry, who was waiting by the school gates.
"ready harry?"
the boy simply nodded as the two mounted their brooms, heading towards gringotts on another bright saturday evening.
victoria mentally cursed dumbledore as another one of her weekends was now spent searching for horcruxes.
the girl had originally wanted to catch up on homework, but since she had started to think about quitting school, she supposed that it was fine that she didn't try anymore.
"what are your plans for the future?", victoria suddenly asked, making harry perk up.
"huh? oh...well umm...perhaps an auror?", harry answered.
"not a professor at hogwarts?"
"I mean...I'm not against it. maybe I'd be able to teach d.a.d.a, but I'm more inclined to being an auror. how about you?"
victoria simply smiled.
"a mother", the girl simply answered.
"really? no actual—"
"the noir family fortune can support me to my great grandchild if used wisely. I just want a child I can spend my days with", victoria interrupted as her and harry had arrived outside of gringotts.
harry didn't push it anymore as the two had gotten ready to enter the goblin bank, only to realize that the they had no plan whatsoever.
"so umm—"
"just play along with me", victoria said as she confidently walked to the front of the bank, where the head goblin sat furiously writing away.
"ah, ms. noir, pleasant seeing you here again. how may we help you?", the goblin offered, momentarily stopping his pencil work.
"take me to my vault. I wish to extract 10,000 galleons", victoria demanded.
"and your wand miss?"
victoria handed the goblin her wand for the creature to examine.
"follow me this way please, ms. noir", the goblin gestured as he handed back the girl her wand.
as soon as the three hopped in the cart, victoria casted a curse.
"imperio!"
the goblin immediately changed the direction of the cart and headed towards bellatrix lestrange's vault.
"did you just use the unforgivable curse? I thought only aurors were allowed to use them", harry whispered.
"well then harry, would you like to me rewind the effects and try to break into that mad woman's vault another way?", victoria mocked, to which harry had held his tongue and shook his head.
"a dragon?!"
"a fitting pet for a raging woman", victoria commented, making harry raise a brow.
"you sound like you know her personally", harry said, to which victoria had picked up the bell in the crate and started shaking it, making the dragon cower in fear.
"I've heard a lot about her", victoria answered. "from the daily prophets", the girl finished, making harry just nod.
in truth, victoria hadn't actually met the woman. she only knew of her from her mother and the dark lord's perspective.
from what she could recall from her mother's words, bellatrix was a deranged woman with a obsession with the dark lord. her mother was once an honored death eater too, forcing both woman to be of high value to voldemort.
nora preferred not to associate herself with bellatrix, though in victoria's opinion, her mother was just as insane as the woman.
"accio!"
harry had tried to summon the hufflepuff cup towards him, though the cup did not more. it was instilled on top of a mountain of gold coins, near many other jewelry and possibly fake possessions that victoria nor harry was interested in.
"I suppose we ought to go get it ourselves....", victoria murmured. "though it might be a little risky. I have a feeling that we should approach it some other way", the girl mumbled.
"well?"
"do you trust me harry?", the girl seriously asked, though her eyes sparkled with a tinsel of mischief.
"umm...I—"
"perfect!"
without giving harry another moment to interject, victoria had focused all her energy on making harry transform into a bat.
"get the cup harry and bring it here", victoria commanded as she just stood where she originally was.
harry—the bat—struggled for a moment as he wobbly flew towards the hufflepuff cup. grabbing it by the handle, harry's little claws clung onto the cup as he made his way back to victoria.
"very good! you're a natural", victoria slightly teased as she turned harry back after she had secured the item in her bag.
"I DIDN'T SAY YOU COUL—"
"now now harry, we've got to head to my vault now", victoria interrupted as the two dragged the goblin out bellatrix's vault.
"wait why?"
"to withdraw the money of course. you didn't actually think I was joking did you?"
"that's a huge sum of money though. what use do you have for it?"
"I'm going on vacation".
