FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK, VICTORIA WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR BEING PUSHED BY LUNA. not only did it help keep bullies away from the ravenclaw girl, victoria had actually learned quite a lot from the queer girl.

"thank you so much luna. you should go now so you're not late for class", victoria sweetly smiled, making luna just nod.

"should I come get you for lunch?", luna asked.

"it's alright. pansy will be taking me to lunch today", victoria said as luna dismissed herself.

victoria then rolled herself into professor umbridge's classroom, where the preppy woman taught defense against the dark arts.

victoria didn't particularly like the woman, as she was just another teacher she needed to gain the favorability from, but as long as she didn't piss victoria off, it was all fine.

"ms. noir, may you please explain why your tie isn't properly tied?", umbridge smiled as the pink fur on her jacket bounced with each step the woman took.

all eyes were on the girl as she just glanced down, indeed noticing that her tie was untied.

"my apologies professor, I'll fix it right away", victoria smiled—one that matched umbridge's—as she turned to draco, who was her seat mate.

draco sighed as he dropped his quill, immediately tying the girl's tie. ever since victoria started attending hogwarts, she's never tied her own tie, as she didn't know how.

the girl didn't have any brothers or a father around, and since the beauxbatons uniforms were dresses, there was no need for her to learn.

"isn't it education decree number 26 that boys and girls can't be within 6 inches of each other?", a gryffindor spoke out as he was clearly not having it.

it was instinctively unfair that victoria was allowed to be late or have little incidents without being punished at all.

"5 points from gryffindor for speaking out of turn, mr. dillen. perhaps next time, you ought to raise your hand before tattling on your classmates", umbridge reprimanded as she walked to the front of the class.

victoria simply smiled as she tucked her perfectly tied green tie inside her dark grey vest.

draco then slid a notecard towards victoria, who examined it out of curiosity.

"father's words, not mine", the boy lowly growled.

"tell him I'll come", victoria smiled as she slid the note back.

the rest of class utterly bored victoria, as umbridge just ranted about the importance of basic d.a.d.a. requirements. she'd much rather do actual defense against the dark arts, but this block of time had allowed her to manually plan her next steps.

of course in her current condition, she couldn't sneakily penetrate dumbledore's office like she did last time.

not only that, but umbridge enforced a whole lot more decrees that restricted the girl from doing many things, such as not even allowed to read books written by half-bloods or muggles.

'if only I had the invisibility cloak', victoria mentally scowled.

victoria was finally able to get out of the wheelchair due to madam pomfrey's splendid medicine.

however, the woman advised the girl not to strain it too much by walking long distances.

"are you not cold?", victoria asked as she had draco wrap his arm around the girl's waist so that when she walked, she wouldn't exert too much weight on her left leg.

"I'm fine", draco shortly responded, making the girl stop walking momentarily.

the back of victoria's hand then touched draco's face, making the boy flinch from the girl's freezing hand.

"here", victoria smiled as she took off her slytherin scarf and draped it around draco's neck two times so that the bottom half of his face was covered too.

"count it as thanks for always tying my tie", victoria said before draco could even protest.

the duo then headed towards honeydukes sweetshops, where victoria bought an entire box of chocoballs.

"you're going to eat all that?", draco rudely asked, making victoria just chuckle.

"of course not! these are for your parents", victoria answered as she thanked the woman and left the shop with draco.

"hm. I suppose they'll appreciate it".

the two then headed towards scrivenshaft's quill shop, much to victoria's delight.

"would you look at these quills", victoria smiled as she admired each feather, especially a particular one.

"they're just feathers from a bird. I don't see what's so interesting about them", draco snorted.

"mister! we'll take two of these albino peacock quills please", victoria called out, to which the man had immediately started packaging them up for the girl.

"why two?", draco asked, as victoria exchanged the galleons for the two black boxes.

"one for you of course", the girl smiled as she opened the box to check out the pair's new quills. the two stood right outside the shop as draco waited for the girl to finish her inspection.

"why would I use such a—"

"oh look it's snowing", victoria interrupted as light snow started to dribble down from the icy grey sky.

victoria lightly chuckled as she turned to face draco, brushing away the small flakes that had perfectly perched on top of his platinum blonde locks.

draco just stayed silent as he stared at the girl that was slowly combing through his hair. though it didn't particularly matter, as the snow kept falling.

victoria then breathed out a puff of warm air that had dissipated into the wintry coldness.

the girl's cunning grey eyes bore into draco's. they were utterly entrancing.

"falling for me, lover boy?", the girl teased, tracing draco's sharp jawline with the side of her thin pointer finger.

     draco's breath hitched.

"you wish", he scoffed as his usual grin had replaced his soft features.

'close', victoria mentally praised herself as a cough had suddenly interrupted the moment.

"oh ron, hermione, and harry! what a pleasure seeing you three here", victoria immediately brightly smiled, though hermione still did not buy the act.

"yeah...a great pleasure", the girl mumbled as ron then spoke up.

     "are...are you two...."

     "oh no! we're not—"

"actually, we are. so if you'll excuse us, we have a date to continue", draco quickly interrupted as he snaked his arm around victoria's waist once more.

"and I suggest you give up on any hopes of chasing after her weaselbee", draco lowly muttered as he bumped past ron's shoulder, hastily walking away.

victoria turned her head around as she mouthed "bye", sending a short wave their way.

"still not admitting your jealousy huh?", victoria teased.

"I'm not jealous. I don't know what you're talking about", draco scowled.

"then I suppose you'll be fine with me going to hogsmeade with zabini next weekend th—"

"why's it always zabini?", draco questioned, making victoria nearly snort.

"would you prefer I ask ron or harry?"

"no", the boy quietly uttered. "but I also don't want you to go with zabini either", the boy grumbled.

victoria then smiled as she took a step forward, accidentally twisting her ankle as she fell onto the hefty snow.

"why're you always so careless?", draco worried as he hastily took off victoria's boot and examined the girl's left ankle, making her wince.

"I don't think I can walk anymore", the girl slightly pouted, making draco roll his eyes.

     "get on", he commanded.

without another moment, victoria hopped onto draco's back, with the boy supporting all of the girl's weight.

victoria then leaned her chin on top of draco's shoulder, occasionally blowing small puffs of air into his ear for fun.

"if you keep doing that I'm going to drop you", the boy threatened.

"you wouldn't", victoria chuckled.

"confident are we now?"

"you wouldn't....because you like me".
