Y/n was working and was pouring shots at the time.

The girl slid it to the person who ordered it across the wooden counter in which he caught.

She glanced at Parker who was dancing on table 5, making sure she was okay and no one was acting up around her.

Parker could more than handle herself but Y/n didn't really care, just looking out for her.

The female was taking a shot for herself, screwing her eyes shut when the liquor burned her throat on the way down.

Heavy footsteps were heard and before Y/n could react, she was thrown in a tight embrace.

Immediately being startled but when she heard the voice, she paid no mind.

"Y/n. I love you."

With a giggle, Y/n shook her head when the male let go of her, "I take it the date went well."

"Well?" Killion quoted, "It was fucking fantastic. Where'd you even meet a woman like that?"

"Matt knew her when he was younger." Y/n said, "So is there going to be a second date?"

The black haired male chuckled, "I'd actually die if there wasn't."

Y/n smiled at the male and place a hand on his shoulder, "I'm really glad this worked out." she paused, "God knows how long you've been single."

"Hey!" Killion huffed, "It hasn't been that long."

Y/n rolled her eyes and waved him off, "You need to stop all that damn lying, Killy."

This made the male laugh as he ran a hand through his hair, going through with ease.

"Gotta run, Y/n. I'll see ya, yeah?"

"See ya, Killy."

Killion hugged Y/n once last time as she gladly accepted and with a nod, he left.

Whilst Y/n worked the rest of her shift, she had to pull her knife on 6 different men.

Twice the amount she does regularly.

Apparently the word 'no' or 'leave me the fuck alone' means nothing anymore.

Wrapping up the end of her shift, Y/n changed out of her uniform and slung a strap over a shoulder.

On the way out of the bathroom she ran into Parker.

"Hey sexy~"

This made Y/n laugh, "Sup flirt." she nodded in greeting, "Mello's waiting for you already?"

Parker set her bag on the bathroom counter and opened her bag, "Yup, we got a bottle of whiskey at home with our name on it." The ginger girl then laughed, "Maybe I'll get lucky."

Y/n twisted her face, "Good luck with that...I guess."

Parker looked at the girl's flushed face and wheezed, "What are you? 10 years old?" Parker then pulled out the clothes she was going to change into, "You're gonna have to do it with Matt at sometime."

Y/n's cheeks heated up instantly and then played it off by scoffing, "Whatever Parker."

"Oh my God. You're blushing!" Parker squealed, "You're definitely thinking about it."

"I ain't thinking about shit." Y/n huffed, "Whatever okay. Have fun with Mello."

With that she left the bathroom and headed for the exit.

Once out the night club she pulled her phone out to check the time. It was 12 exactly so she was ready to go home and watch TV or something else boring.

"Where's my kiss, pretty girl?"

With furrowed brows, the female looked back to see the one and only idiot.

"What are you even doing here, Matt?"

The two leaned against Matt's Camero and Mello's motorbike was parked behind.

The brunet slapped a hand over his chest, "Now that's just hurtful." He pouted, "And I thought you'd be happy to see me."

Y/n rolled her eyes playfully and looked to the blonde beside him

"Sup Mello."

"Y/n." he grinned.

Y/n crossed her arms over her stomach and glared at the blond, "You're thinking about the time I was high, aren't you?"

"Every time I see you, I do."

This caused Mello to get a slight shove as he continued grinning at the memory.

Matt cleared his throat with a irritated look.

"Mint?" Y/n offered.

Matt grabbed her hand to pull her towards him and then held her waist. Brushing her hair out of her face, Matt hummed, "Not happy to see me, baby?"

With a flushed face, she scoffed, "Depends on what you got on ya."

Matt chuckled whilst looking at his girl, "Always so mean to me." He pouted.

"You know, when I said do it with Matt. I didn't mean right outside the club."

Both heads turned to see the ginger girl who was now in normal clothes.

"Parker!" Y/n scolded with red cheeks, "Stupidity leak."

"I could get behind that~" Matt purred whilst leaning down to kiss the girl's neck

If it wasn't for the two pairs of eyes watching them, Y/n would have without a doubt not stop him.

She pinched his arm which lead him to grunt in pain.

With a laugh, Parker shook her head, "What are you doing here anyways?" She questioned Matt whilst walking towards Mello.

Mello's hands were immediately on her as he kissed her temple

"I'm here to take m'lady." The brunet trailed off, taking Y/n's hand and kissed her knuckles. The h/c haired girl's eyebrows shot up, "On a date."

"Heh?" Y/n's head jerked forwards a bit, "Matt, it's 12 P.M and I'm tired."

"Well." The blonde grunted as he leaned off the Camero, "We'll leave you two to sort out your relationship problems."

With that Mello and Parker hopped on Mello's bike which he turned on, revving it up.

"See ya Monday, sexy!" Parker yelled as her boyfriend sped off along the empty road, disappearing into the distance.

Matt turned to his girl with a pout, "Just one hour. Just one hour and I'll take you home, sweetheart. I promise."

As the suffocating silence engulfed the two, Matt eagerly awaited her response.

With a heavy exhale, Y/n stared at her hopeful boyfriend, "Fine."

"Yes!" Matt rejoiced with a laugh, he opened the car door for her, "You'll like it, baby." He reassured when he shut the door closed.

Their destination wasn't far but the almost the whole journey the couple bickered.

"Let me play my music!" Matt whined.

"No!" Y/n huffed as she swatted his hands away from the deck, "You have to focus on the road!"

The brunet tried again to touch the deck to change the music disk but Y/n guarded it.

"Baby, please! You always play what you want!"

With a pout like that, she would have given in completely but she was just too damn tired, "No! You're the one who insisted our date to be at 1 in the freaking morning!"

It was silent for Matt let out a raspy chuckle, "Touché."

The girl smirked as she played her desired music which Matt vibed with so he was just being a baby for no reason.

Coming to a stop, Matt cranked the handbrakes and twisted the keys out the car.

He scrambled out of the car when Y/n was opening the car door for herself and once the male reached over, he slammed the door shut causing Y/n to raise a brow.

With a stupid and lazy grin, Matt opened to car door for his girl.

Upon hopping out, Y/n playfully rolled her eyes as he slammed the door closed, "And they say chivalry is dead."

In inspecting her surroundings, Y/n took the time to look at the surrounding trees that clustered together.

The dark night engulfed the distance and the crackling of dead leaves could be heard under the two.

The wind blew causing shivers and goosebumps to play on the females skin.

"Just to make sure I'm understanding what I'm seeing here, " Y/n said folding her arms, "You're taking me to the woods on our first date."

"Sure are a brat when you're tired." Matt took her hands in his and lead her through a path, "and in general." He added.

This earned him a small shove as he lowly chuckled at her. The crunching of the fallen leaves, the occasional sound of an owl and the chirping of crickets were heard only, filling in the silence.

Matt mumbled to himself as he lead the girl then he snapped his fingers, "Ah ha!" he said, "Found it."

The two walked into a clearing that was just miles and miles of just grass and pretty flowers with a big crystal lake in front of them that reflected the moonlights as the cool breeze caused it to ripple.

The night allowed the two to see the millions of glittery stars as it looked down on them

Y/n's eyes glisten as she took in the view, looking in awe at the sky while Matt looked in awe at her.

A blanket was laid out in front of the lake with two styrofoam boxes which was presumingly food.

"Matt." she called out breathlessly, "This...This is beautiful."

Matt pulled her to the blanket gently, "It is." He agreed before continuing, "The scenery ain't the most beautiful thing out here either."

Y/n looked to him and was about question him but when she saw the male looking at her with a grin, she answered her own question.

Y/n grew flustered and she sat on the blankets facing the lake with Matt sitting beside her

From where she sat she could see a couple fishes swimming about in the clear water and smiled at them

Averting her eyes from that, she looked to the brunet, "Why...um." She cleared her throat, "Why are ya looking at me like that?"

Matt merely shrugged, not moving his eyes from her figure either, "You just look so fucking adorable right now."

"I...um. You-. W-Well-. Um." Y/n stuttered causing Matt to laugh at her flustered state. Y/n took a breath and started over her sentence, "Thank you."

With a smile, Matt slid the styrofoam box closer to her, "Gotta eat up, baby. I know you don't eat much in work."

Matt opened his and started eating when Y/n began to.

The food and just looking at the lake, the calm low rippling of the water could make anyone's day better.

Especially when it's with someone who makes them happy.

The girl took a spoonful and shoved it in her mouth when her eyes landed on Matt who was looking at the scenery too.

His hair blew a bit with the soft wind, the moonlight shining on his face as he chewed his food. Y/n smiled at the sight of him so peaceful and relaxed.

Y/n broke the silence with a question of her own, "How'd you find this place?"

"Hm? Oh well, one time I got into a huge fight with Mello so I took off." he shook his head at the memory, still staring off into the distance.

"I ran into the woods and found this place." Matt was silent for a couple seconds before continuing, "It's also the place where I first saw the most gorgeous woman in the world."

Y/n huffed as she folded her arms.

The audacity of this idiot!

Matt chuckled at her actions when he added, "You." He said, "I was here when I first laid eyes on you."

"Heh?" Y/n said with wide eyes, "I've never been here before! Besides we met at the club!"

The male shook his head, "You were here a few years ago, presumably lost. You just didn't make it this far to see where we are right now."

Then it occurred to her. The day she left her aunt's house she slept in the car near the woods.

The day after she went exploring in it and ended up lost but luckily she saw her car and was able to go back.

"I went to go help but I saw you when you found your car so I left." Matt smiled to himself when he closed his eyes, "When I saw you at the club I knew you looked familiar and when I remembered so I had to approach you."

Y/n blinked a couple times in hearing this and shook her head, "Wait. What were you doing here the day I was lost?"

He opened his eyes and tilted his head to look to her direction, "Breakup. Got cheated on."

"Oh." Was all she could muster up to say. It was crazy to the female how things match up. How fate worked.

How destiny worked.

She smiled at the thought and scooted closer to Matt, resting her head on his shoulder.

The male draped a hand around her shoulder as the two looked at the view.

Matt intertwined his hands with hers and quickly kissed her temple.

"I love you."

Matt eyes widen with the sudden words. He looked to the female who had the same shocked expression as he did.

By his silence she regretted saying anything at all. Her heart raced with the thought of it being a mistake.

Oh God, it's gonna be weird now ain't it?

"Say it again."

Y/n exhaled out of relief that he said something, "I love you, Matt."

"Again."

Y/n giggled and shook her head, placing a hand on his cheek, caressing it softly with her thumb.

The girl kissed his cheek, her lips lingering there for a second before looking into his brown eyes

"I love you, Matt."

Matt kissed the girl immediately, his tongue delving past her lips and immediately kissed her, not bothering to ask for permission.

He pulled away and breathlessly said, "I love you, Y/n" he said lowly, "You have no fucking idea."

Continuing to kiss her, Matt pushed her gently to lay on her back as the make out session grew burning hot. He pried his lips away and chuckled menacingly, looking at his girl with pure lust.

"Oh, You don't know what you do to me sweetheart."

Just then she knew she was in for the night of her life.
