Chap 25

Eventually, around 2 in the morning, we moved down to the basement. We helped each other with our 'issues', and helping him with a handjob was exciting and scary. He was big, bigger than me, and I understood why all the girls loved his sex. He even helped me with a handjob, kissing me wildly during the entire interaction. We kept each other quiet, as quiet as possible and it worked successfully. Plus, I managed to keep my cancer secret hidden. He grabbed some clothes for the both of us and took me down to the basement. When we got to the basement, we went to the back room, which had a sign saying keep out on the door. He started talking freely, saying we no longer needed to be quiet.

"When I'm not sleeping in my room, I'm sleeping here."

Jack opened the door, and the first thing I noticed was the pool table. There are neon signs all over the wall, happy hour signs, numerous alcohol brands, and whatnot. I step onto the soft black carpet, the walls are a mix of blue and black. LED strips trace the entire room, making the room more blue than before. There's a bar, a sofa, and a TV. I keep going forward, running my hand across the pool table as I pass by. There are 2 other doors.

"A bedroom and a bathroom," Jack informs me. He grabs my hand and walks to the door. "The bedroom".

He opens the door and it looks similar to his actual room, but the shelf isn't full of books, it's full of trophies, medals, awards, certificates, and so on. His desk is a mess, I walk over and see plans for football games, I see a few notebooks, pens, and pencils scattered. I look back and see Jack staring at me as I walk around. I neatly sit in the bed, gaining a laugh from him. He steps forward and kisses me. I smile and laugh as he pulls on my shirt gently, asking for permission. I break the kiss and look down at my chest. It's dark in the room the only light being on in the hall.

"Turn off the light?" I ask and he hums and leaves to flip the light off. It's now dark, one light on from the green button on his desktop. "Okay, just, dont ask any questions please?"

He pecked my lips and played with the hem of my shirt.

"Questions?" he asked curiously, then kissed my nose.

I laugh, "Just dont ask questions."

He nodded in understanding. He gently pulls my shirt up, I raise my arms to remove the struggle. My pen rises and slaps against my chest as my shirt is flown across the room. Jack stops and lifts it from my chest. He doesn't ask about it, but he examines it.

"It's not a vape, is my pen, that's what I call it anyways," I pick it up and take it off of my neck. "Remember how I told you I need a little more time to open up?"

He just plants a small kiss on my forehead. "I trust you to tell me when you're ready," he takes the pen out of my hand and puts it on the bedside table. "Tell me when you are ready Mac."

He gently pushes me onto my back, laying kisses up and down my neck, his hand glides along my sides, I'm nervous he'll find my port. He stands back up and turns to the door. He shuts and locks it.

"Can't be too safe," he smiles and rips off his shirt. "Where were we?"

I giggle and pull his arm towards me, I smash my lips against his.

--

I wake up to the sun shining in through a small window up in the corner. I lay wrapped up in Jack's arms, my back to his chest, he was running his fingers up and down my arm, against my scar. I sigh out of relief, last night wasn't a dream. Im truly his boyfriend. Then I realize he's rubbing my scar, and he can see my port. I feel my heart race.

"Awake finally?" He whispered against my ear.

I turn over to face him, being careful with my shoulder. He's silent and just looks at me with a sad look.

"Don't look at me like that," I lower my head into his chest. "This is what I was afraid of... Pity. All people give me now is a pity. Im a normal person, that is living and breathing, I don't deserve pity."

"Mac, I don't pity you. I worry about you. I worry that you are always so depressed, I worry that you are in pain, I worry about you."

"You don't need to," I look up at him. "Jack, I'm okay.."

"Don't lie," he grabs my cheek. "Please, don't lie to me about this. You don't realize how easy you are to read. I know you're not okay. I see it in your eyes."

I sit in silence, then close my eyes and hug his chest. My port fully pressed against his skin. After a few minutes I look back at him, he hasn't taken his eyes off me.

"I want you to meet my parents."

Now his face goes red, and I see his eyes light up, and now I'm smiling.

"I love you, Jack, you're my actual boyfriend now. My parents are going to love you, I swear. Today my dad has off of work, and my mom is a stay-at-home, I want you to meet them."

He grins and kisses my forehead, "Okay, I'd love to Mac. But first, we need to shower," he takes off the covers and stands up.

It's now I see him in all his glory, he's gorgeous. Half naked, only in boxers. He's shredded, his 6-pack practically sculpted like art. His biceps bulge as he picks up the clothes he brought down last night. He does not skip leg day either. He looks at me staring, turns around, and brings up his arms, flexing his back and biceps.

"Okay, hot stuff, I get it, you work out."

He throws a hoodie my way, also with a shirt. They gently smack my face, he burst out laughing and I can't stop grinning. When I look at him he has a wife beater on and basketball shorts. I move to the edge of the bed and pick up my jeans. I slide them on and then examine the shirt.

"This is way too big for me Jack," I smile and he walks over.

He kisses me, and I can't help but kiss back.

"Just put it on," He grabs at my waist. "Trust me."

When I put it on, I noticed it smelled like him. The plain black shirt flows over my waist, lightly brushing against my skin. Twice as big as me, I could sleep in this it's so comfortable.

"Looking good shortie," He kisses my cheek. "Go ahead and shower, I'll get you some food."

It feels nice to get clean, so much sweat accumulated from last night, and I didn't even realize how gross it felt till I cleaned off. I use his body wash, and I realize this is why he smells so good. I step out and dry off, I look in the mirror and see the marks he left across my collarbone. He listened when I said I didnt want anything on my neck. I get dressed and step out into the main area. I go sit at the bar, noticing all the types of alcohol, all the crystal glasses, and the LED lights on a white setting. He walks in with a tray, having 2 plates on it. It's a gold tray, with two plates of eggs and ham, bagels, and two cups of coffee. My face lights up when I eat.

"Did you make this?" I ask, he grins and nods proudly. "You're never allowed to leave me," I say while stuffing my face.

He laughs, "I never planned on it. But it's good to know you love my cooking too. My Nan has taught me everything I need to know in the kitchen, and cooking became a hobby of mine. I have to shower, I'll be back. Don't forget your 'pen' on the nightstand."

I shoot up and run to the bedroom to grab it, and he laughs. That's the first time I forgot it existed.

--

He's showered, dressed up all fancy-like, and we head upstairs. I hold his hand till the very last step. He braces himself and we head up to the main floor, I follow after him as he heads into the family room, I don't look around too much, but I notice how modern it is. I follow him into the kitchen, and I see his grandma.

"Hi, Nan," He smiles and gives her a side hug.

"Hi dear, how was your night?"

He looks over at me and grins, "Magical. Nan, I brought over Mac last night," he looks over at her still holding the grin.

She finally turns around and gasps, she runs over and pulls me into a hug.

"Hi, Ms. Neroni," I grin, hugging her back.

"Call me Nan, honey. I missed you, how are you love?"

"I'm magical. I've never been better."

Jack never stops smiling, until he asks "Nan, are Mom and Dad here?"

Nan pulled away from the hug to look at Jack. "No dear, they left early in the morning."

He sighs, "Good, because I have some news for you," Jack walks over to me and grabs my hand, locking our fingers. "Mac is my boyfriend."

"Oh Jack, I already knew. Just be happy your parents haven't caught on. But, I already knew," she grabs his face and kisses his forehead, he has to lean down to let her. She pulled him and me into a hug, Jack put his hand over my left arm so she didnt touch it. "You are lovely together," she lets go of us, then grabs my hands. "Thank you for changing this boy for the better."

I smile and pull her into a hug, "It's my pleasure. I love your grandson."

She squeezes my hands then let's go with a big smile dancing on her face. "Honestly, I thought he brought a girl home last night, the basement door was closed, it's never closed," she turns to look at Jack. "I'm pleased to see it wasn't some bimbo."

"Nan, you know I've never brought a girl home before. And I've changed. I've found what I've been looking for this whole time," he follows her around the kitchen. "I found my person Nan, and that's Mac."

"Good, and if you hurt him, I will personally bury you," She grins up at him, making him roll his eyes.

"Mac and I are going to go out, will you be fine by yourself?" He grabs her hands.

"Dear, I'll be fine. Go have fun; you're young and in love, go have fun. Just because I'm older now doesn't mean I can't handle myself. I can still kick ass," she winks at me and I laugh.

He kisses her forehead and lets go of her, "I'll be back soon, I promise."

He grabbed me and dragged me out and to the front yard, his car was moved from the driveway to the side of the street. So, we go across the grass and he puts me in the passenger. I grab my phone from my pocket and call my mom.

"Hey Mac, how was your night with Tim?"

"It was awesome Mom. Is Dad home right now?"

"He is, we're watching a movie downstairs waiting for you. Are you coming home soon? Do you need to refill your pod?"

"No, I don't need to refill. But, I am coming home right now, and I'm bringing a guest."

She gasped, "Is it the boy you were talking about? What's his name? Jake?"

"Jack, Momma, Jack."

"Right, did last night go well? Are you okay?"

"Yes and Yes. I'm bringing him over to meet you. We'll be there shortly."

"Hun, Mac is bringing over his boyfriend!" my mom yells at my dad.

"Boyfriend? Mac has a boyfriend?"

"Mac has a boyfriend! We're gonna meet him," My mom yells to my dad. I look over and see Jack holding back a laugh.

"Okay, I gotta go. I love you bye," I say and hang up the phone quickly.

"So, you told them about me?"

"Only a little," I shove my phone in my pocket, feeling my face heat. "It was kinda unavoidable."

He grabs my hand and drives to my house. He remembers the directions without any help.
