ONE MONTH LATER

Grant's POV

Today was the day of Mallory's baby shower and also today marked her being eight months pregnant and I was more than ready for this to be over with because her mood swings had finally hit and there were days where she would bite my head off for doing the tiniest thing wrong. I knew she couldn't help it and for the next month I would just have to grin and bear it I still haven't asked her to marry me there hasn't been any times that have just seen right and I don't want her to think that I'm doing this because of the baby I want her to know that it is real for me and I love her I'm brought out of my thoughts when I hear my voice coming from my bedroom I walk upstairs to see what she is doing I walk in and she's standing in front of the mirror getting ready playing the warbler version of Glad you came. I walk up behind her and she jumps a little when I wrap my arms around her waist "I'm glad you came." She turns around and looks at me "I'm actually really into that song you know?" I smile at her and pull her to me "Wonder why babe?" "Sebastian is hot." "I think he is kind of dick babe." She laughs then wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me I kiss back then stop myself even though I don't want to "If we continue babe you won't make it to your baby shower and then Vanessa will kill both of us because she has put a lot of planning into this."

Vanessa's POV

I hang up the last few decorations then sit the cake out on the table and I look over at Kevin who is holding Kevina and playing with some spare streamers and ribbons I had left over "When are the guys going to be here they said they were coming with their girlfriends?" "They will be here probably when it is time for the baby shower to start and Nick said he would be here a little early." I look over at Kevin "He's been kind of weird don't you think?" "Define weird for Nick." "I might be imagining things." I think you are Ness but you took the first step and admitted it." "Shut up Kev." I pick up a piece of paper then chunk it at his head then he looks at Kevina "Mommy is throwing things at daddy that isn't very nice is it." She starts making cooing and babbling noises at him and he agrees with everything that she is saying to him even if he doesn't understand a word she says.

Mallory's POV

While Grant and I are on the way to our baby shower I reach over and hold his hand and he looks over at me "Are you ready for this warbler?" "I should be asking you that babe you will be the center of attention and think about all the gifts you will get to open." "I hate being the center of attention Grant." "I know babe but Vanessa wanted to do this and you might even enjoy it." I look over at him "I didn't mean the baby shower Grant." "What do you mean babe?" "Our baby will be here in a month." "I'm ready babe I get scared and nervous sometimes but I can't imagine what you are going through you have had to do this biggest part of it and I hate that you have had morning sickness and you're mood swings that make me fear for my life sometimes and I wish I could do a lot more than I have." "I love you Grant." "I almost thought you forgot my name babe you call me warbler more than anything." "I didn't forget." "I like warbler though." A little while later Grant stops the car and I take a deep breath and look at him "You will be fine babe you know everyone here and I will be with you the whole time." I nod my head then we walk inside together.

Kevin's POV

I decide to take Vanessa's advice and see if Nick is acting weird like she says so throughout the baby shower I watch him and what he does and I feel bad for spying on one of my best friends I watch Grant walk over and talk to his family then I notice Nick walk over to Mallory and the two of them start having a quiet conversation together and I wonder when the two of them got so close he says something and they both start laughing and she looked at him as if she was fond of him and I start thinking to myself when did that happen I didn't even know they were friends I will have to ask Vanessa later if she knows anything about it because Mal tells her everything so maybe she had said something to her about hanging out with Nick I didn't think anything would come out of it because Mal was crazy about Grant and in another month they would have a baby. Nick and Mal couldn't possibly have a thing for each other could they?
