Kevin's POV

I wake up the next morning and sit up Vanessa isn't in the bed and Blade isn't in the room in either I stretch then get up and walk in the room and see Blade by Vanessa's feet asleep and she is sitting in the chair with Kevina and I wonder when she came in here "Ness what are you doing in here?" She wakes up and looks at me "Kevina was up and down all night last night she was burning up I think she's sick." "I'll take her you go get some sleep." Vanessa passes Kevina over to me then walks out of the room I walk over and sit down and hold Kevina against my chest pressing my lips against her head checking to see if she's getting warmer or cooling off, Blade gets up and looks up at her in my arms and tilts his head to one side but stays by the chair.

Vanessa's POV

I walk in our room and get in bed feeling exhausted and I really hope I'm able to get some sleep while Kevin takes care of her and I hope she isn't sick and that maybe whatever she has will pass in a day or two. I pull the blankets over me then let out a yawn and slowly drift off to sleep.

Mallory's POV

I get up before Grant does then I walk in Chris's room to check on him and he's still sleeping his brown standing up like Grant's I smile then kiss him on the head and shake mine at how much alike they are I walk downstairs and sit on the couch and I hear the click of claws on the floor then a large ball of grey fur jumps in my lap and lays his head against my stomach. "Nice to see you too Hades." He starts wagging his tail and it slaps against my leg, I start scratching his neck and rubbing his hears and he lets out a scoffing sort of noise "You know again don't you?" he looks up at me and his golden eyes make me freeze and I know that Hades will be the same as he was when I was pregnant with Chris never leaving my side snapping at anyone or anything that came close to me. I look up when I hear a set of footsteps and more clicks on the floor and I see Grant with Jett and Nora standing behind him "Hey warbler what are you doing up?" "Couldn't sleep he walks over then takes a seat in front of the couch and I start running my hands through his hair.

Grant's POV

I hadn't seen my family in a while and my mom was dying to see Chris again plus she didn't know about the engagement and she didn't know about the fact that Mallory and I had another baby on the way I lean back against the couch and let her comb her fingers through my hair trying to find a way to tell her about us going to visit my family for a few weeks. "Babe?" She makes a humming noise so I know she is listening "I've been thinking about us making a trip to see my family." She stops running her hands through my hair and I hope she remembers she is pregnant so she won't get upset "We can go we can tell your mom we are engaged and about me being pregnant again." Maybe my idea isn't the best one but I knew my mom would want to know about us getting married I'm not sure how she is going to react when we tell her about our second baby though plus Chris could meet them for the first time "Her fingers go back to running through my hair again "We will go in a few weeks babe." She makes the humming noise again and our moment together is broken by cries from upstairs I get up and she pushes Hades off of her and we both walk upstairs together.
