Vanessa's POV

In the first few days you can see how much of a toll this has taken on Mal dark circles form under her eyes her skin goes to an unhealthy type of pale and I know for a fact that she hasn't been able to eat I walk in with some food and sit it down next to her but her eyes never leave Grant "You've got to eat Mal." She looks over at the food I brought her then runs in the bathroom and throws up I look down at it I know it's hospital food but I'm at least trying then it dawns on me it may not be the food making her sick and if I was right it was way too soon for this to be Nick's baby she walks out of the bathroom and looks at me. I grab her arm and drag her out of the room then look at Kevin "Go sit with Grant Mal and I are taking a trip somewhere." Kevin gets up and walks in Grant's room and I lead Mallory over to the elevator she gets in with me and I push a button. She looks up at me "Where are we going?" I look over at her "The maternity floor you could be pregnant." She lets out a gasp then props back against the wall.

Mallory's POV

Vanessa sits next to me while we are waiting for the doctor to come back with the test results and I'm scared to death Chris might have a sibling and this baby could possibly not get to meet their father if Grant didn't wake up I really wanted him too because I needed Grant I hated that I hurt him and I wanted him to know how much I loved him. The doctor walks in with my file and I look up at him and start biting my lip "Your test was positive and we determined you are two months pregnant." Two months pregnant and two months was the amount of time Grant and I had been engaged it was always funny how we managed to do this. I thank the doctor then Vanessa and I get back in the elevator, she looks over at me "You're pregnant?" "I'm pregnant." "You should tell Grant I bet he will be happy." I smile the doctors did say to talk to him I didn't know if this would help but I was willing to try anything. When I walk in the room Kevin gets up and walks out in the hallway with Vanessa. I walk over and take my regular seat next to Grant. "Hey warbler so good news or it may not be I guess it depends on how you take it but I'm pregnant again two months along we're going to have another baby."

Vanessa's POV

Kevin joins me out in the hallway "What was that all about?" "I took Mal to the maternity floor." He looks at me "Why did you do that?" "She's two months pregnant Kevin." "Oh wow that's great maybe Grant will wake up soon I hope they can fix things." While Kev is talking I realize something and I'm surprised he hasn't caught on yet I noticed that my monthly friend was late and I would need to go visit the maternity floor as well but I didn't want to say anything and get Kevin's hopes up just in case I was wrong we had agreed to wait until Kevina was older she was a few months old now and I didn't know if he would think this is too soon since the three of us would be leaving to go on tour soon. I calm down because I wasn't sure yet and I didn't need to get my hopes up either.

Mallory's POV

The first few days turn into one week and that turns into the second week I go home stay with Chris then come back and see Grant it's a good thing that Chris is so little because right now he doesn't know where daddy is I lay my head down on the bed close to Grant's side since I can't actually get in the bed with him and slowly drift off to sleep taking his hand in mine before I do.

Grant's POV

I blink then slowly open my eyes and I'm blinded by the bright lights I close my eyes for a few more minutes and open them again this time I can see I look around and see machines and I realize I must be in the hospital it comes back to me and I remember being in a car accident. I go to move one of my hands but I can't because they are in her hand. She's here by my side I don't know how long I've been out but she's sleeping and she looks exhausted. Her pale skin that I loved to explore had turned into a ghostly white but there was a hint of red in her cheeks and I wondered what was causing that. I don't say anything or let her know that I'm awake I would forgive her even after what she did I was still in love with her. I gently free my hand from hers and start running it through her hair she lets out a moan and wakes up then looks at me. "Hey babe." She starts crying but I know she is happy to see me and she manages to choke out words "Hi warbler I missed you." "I missed you too babe."

Mallory's POV

He was awake and smiling and talking to me I didn't want to talk about what happened because I was afraid he would reject me but I stand up and start running my fingers through his hair he puts one hand on the side of my face and then gently grabs me by the waist and pulls me down in the bed with him I put one hand on his chest then lean forward and kiss him only to hear the steady beeping of his heart monitor increase but that doesn't seem to bother him because he kisses back and runs his hands down my waist only to start playing with the bottom of my shirt.
