Vanessa's POV

After I get some sleep after the lockdown from the night before I wake up and go downstairs I walk over to Kevin "I have good news." He looks up at me "What is it?" "Grant called before I went to sleep and we are baby sitting on Friday night." He looks confused "I don't see why that is good news Ness." "Friday night he is going to take her on a date and ask her to marry him." "It's about time he has had the ring for months I thought he was never going to ask." I walk over and sit in his lap and wrap my arms around his neck "I'm so happy for them." "I'm very happy for them too." I feel one of his hand go down to my lower back then he kisses me and rolls us over on the couch to where he is on top of me. "I can tell how happy you are." I kiss him and wrap my arms around his neck then he starts kissing down my neck and he runs his hands under my shirt then he pulls it off and I run my hands under his shirt and run my fingertips down his stomach gently tracing the outlines of his abs and he moans then pulls off his shirt and throws it in the floor.

Grant's POV

All through the week I devote every spare moment I have to getting Friday night perfect for the proposal I plan a menu and a location on where I'm going to do this and when I have all of that done I start thinking of how I should ask her and I practice everything to myself when I'm alone and everything I come up with sounds either really cheesy or like something out of the movies or books and I don't want that I want something original something that only I could say to her I sigh and run my hands through hair and keep trying to come up with something that I could say to her.

Mallory's POV

This week felt strange for some reason Grant was coming and going a lot and when I would call and talk to Vanessa or Kevin something about them just sounded off and I wondered what I was missing or if I was just being paranoid about something I look at the calendar and check the whole month and no one has a birthday, and there isn't an anniversary coming up for anyone either after I get Chris down for a nap I walk downstairs and sit down on the couch and Grant walks in the room and lays his head in my lap and I look down at him and start running my hand through his hair, he looks up at me "Let's go out Friday babe." "That sounds good warbler but what about Chris?" "Vanessa and Kevin said they would watch him." "I'd like that warbler we haven't been out in a long time." "I love you babe you know that right?" "I know and I love you too warbler."

Grant's POV

The week flies by a lot faster than it usually does and I'm at Kevin and Vanessa's house I knock on the door and Kevin answers "Good just the person I need to see." "It's the big day for you how you feeling?" "I feel sick to my stomach I can't do this what if she says no?" He walks out and shuts the door "Look Grant I know that she loves you the two of you have a son together I'm sure that she will say yes I know how you are feeling right now because even though we had been together and I loved her and I knew that she loved me too I was still nervous and scared that she would say no but when I asked her she said yes." I take a deep breath then sit down on the steps "What if she meets someone else that is better than I am?" "You are all she wants and if I were you I would be getting ready for tonight." I nod my head then get up and walk back over to my car and get in giving myself a pep talk.

Mallory's POV

With Chris laying in the center of the bed propped up on our pillows while I'm looking for something to wear I pick a one shoulder black dress then set the heels out with it and I get out a pair of earrings as well I get dressed then fix my hair and then slide on the heels and I hear the door open downstairs and I look down at my phone and see that it is seven so Kevin and Vanessa must be here. I walk over and pick up Chris then walk downstairs Vanessa walks over and takes Chris will Kevin is holding Kevina and talking with Grant. She smiles at me "You look great have a good time and take as long as you want everything will be fine I promise." "Thank you for watching him." "You're welcome now go on get out of here." I laugh then walk out of the house with Grant and we get in the car then pull out of the drive way.
