Mallory's POV

A little while later Grant comes in the nursery and gives me a smug look "Why do you look so smug?" "You almost cussed out your best friend's husband in front of your five day old baby I think it's funny." I get up and walk over to Grant who takes Chris from me. "Where is he now warbler?" "He left babe I talked to him I don't know where he went." I look up at Grant who is making faces at Chris and I smile at him and he looks at me "What is it babe?" "Nothing warbler." "I'm sorry about what happened to Vanessa she didn't deserve that I know she means a lot to you." "Thank you and you're right she doesn't." I look back at Chris who has fell asleep against Grant's chest.

Kevin's POV

I walk upstairs with the bag in my hand and walk in the room and see Vanessa sitting on the bed with her back toward the door I walk over and throw the bag on the bed next to her "I'm sorry I didn't know if I had I would have stayed home with you last night." "Well it's a little late for that now isn't it?" I sit on the bed next to her and run my hands through my hair "I wish I could take it back Vanessa I really do." "You can't take it back though Kevin you cheated on me do you know how that feels you went to another woman how would you feel if I had been cheating on you?" "The image forms in my head of another man being in bed with her, touching her, kissing her, making her feel good, and she would be moaning his name not mine and my body fills with hatred for this imaginary man. "I don't like the idea of that you're mine no one else can have you." "You let another woman have you last night." I've lost her for good she doesn't want to be with me anymore I feel the tears form in my eyes "I feel so guilty and I am so sorry Vanessa."

Vanessa's POV

I look over at Kevin and I see the tears falling on his face and I don't know what I should do I'm so torn I'm not ready to take him back yet but at the same time I know he is hurting just as much as I am. "Kev what's wrong?" He looks at me "I've lost you and I don't know what to do without you I know I shouldn't have cheated on you but I'm going to spend the rest of my life making it up to you if you will just give me one more chance please." He's begging me and I come up with a temporary solution until I know what I'm going to do I take a deep breath and sigh then look at him "You should stay here so you can be with Kevina." "What about us Ness?" "I'm going to need some more time to think about that." He nods his head then puts his hand on my leg and gives it a squeeze "I understand but I'm not giving up be prepare for more surprises to show up."

Grant's POV

After I get Chris down for a nap and walk downstairs to the couch and see Mallory already laying on it I walk over and lie on top of her and wrap my arms around her she starts running her hands through my hair "Is he asleep warbler?" I nod my head then lay it on her chest and she laughs then starts rubbing my back "I'm going to follow his example babe." "You do that warbler but before you go to sleep I want to ask you something." "I'm listening." "What do you see yourself doing in five years?" "Still acting, living in a bigger house with you and maybe a few more kids by then and another dog or two and married." Sounds good warbler." Her hands go back to my hair and start running through them again and her breathing slows down and goes to a steady even pace and I know she's fallen asleep and I go to sleep a few minutes later.
