Tanaka one of my favourite characters and I think it's because I can relate to him on certain levels. This book is finally getting more reads and I'm more than happy about it! Anyway, let's get this chapter started! At the time of writing this [2/16/21], it is snowing like hell and I HATE it!

"Heya Kiyoko! Looking good today!" 

I watched as Kiyoko walked away and I blushed and hugged myself. "She's ignoring me again~!" "Ryu!" I flinched and looked over at Daichi who looked ready to snap. "Come over here now!" I panicked before rushing over to him and the rest of the team. He gave me a fake smile before turning to look at every one. "Now that everyone is here and listening, I have a surprise." "Hinata and The King Are being kicked out?" Tsukishima gasped in fake surprise before getting elbowed by Yamaguchi. 

"Thank you, Yamaguchi." The mess of green hair nodded with a smile as Tsukishima glared at him. Daichi ignored the blonde bean pole and opened the gym doors. "You can come in now!" He called out with a smile. The rest of us looked at each other in confusion. The door was taken from Daichi by a much taller male. I looked at him in slight envy...okay a lot of envy. He was around 5'11 maybe 6' exactly. He had a mess of (H/C) hair on his head with bright (E/C) eyes. He had a black hoodie on unzipped showing off a black gay pride shirt. I looked further down and he was wearing black sweat pants with a white line going down the sides and black and white tennis shoes.

"This is (Y/N) (L/N). He a second-year who just transferred here and is an exceptional Wing-spiker along with Middle blocker!" This (L/N) seemed embarrassed by Daichi's compliments and rubbed the back of his neck looking away. "I'm...not that great" He mumbled barely loud enough for us to hear. "Nonsense. I had him show me Coach Ukai and Sugawara his moves and he is great." Hinata seemed close to fainting. "You're so tall (L/N)-Senpai!" (L/N)'s face exploded in shades of pink and waved his hands in front of him. 

"U-UH you all can just uh c-call me (Y/N)! N-no need to be so f-formal! And I-I'm only 6 foot. I-I'm not the tallest in th-the room" He stumbled over his words seemingly unused to people fawning over him. 'Imma try to intimidate him' "Yeah you might be all tall but what makes you an exceptional Middle Blocker?" "Well, I uh...I transferred from Date Tech and was part of their Iron Wall." My eyes shot open and I could hear Asahi dying internally. "Date Tech?? Why did you transfer from Date Tech To Kurasuno?" Kageyama yelled out seemingly annoyed. 

(Y/N) Bit the inside of his lip looking away. "Well, I recently moved away from their district and was closer to Kurasuno." He seemed to smile to himself gaining more confidence in his voice and tone. "The little Giant used to play for Kurasuno and he was an idol to me and I had always Admired Kurasuno after that even if others called you guys the wingless crows. I guess having the chance to play for the school my idol did was too much of an opportunity to pass up." He looked back at us before his confidence...ultimately fell. "I-I'm sorry that so-sounded really sappy and cheesy I apologize" 

Nishinoya laughed and walked up to him punching his side. "And here I thought Asahi was a nervous wreck! As long as you're a good player and person you're going to fit in great! I'm Nishinoya Yū! I'm the Libero! The tall blonde with glasses that's Tsukishima Kei and his lover boy is Yamaguchi Tadashi!" "Oi! He is not-" "Sure he's not beanpole!" I shot before Daichi punched my shoulder. Nishinoya cleared his throat. "As I was saying, The two setters here are Kageyama Tobio and Sugawara Koshi! Here's Our Ace Aka Azumane Asahi! This is our decoy Hinata Shoyo! And last but not least! Tanaka Ryuunosuke!" 

(Y/N) seemed to loosen up as Nishinoya introduced us. Daichi put his hand on his shoulder with a smile. "See I told you that you'd be fine (Y/N). They all look unapproachable but I promise you they're all harmless." I smirked and chuckled. "Says you Daichi" I looked at Daichi and immediately shut up seeing his evil face. "S-Sorry Daichi" "Good, now, (Y/N) we'll get you a uniform soon but for now let's see how good you are in a small team." 

(Y/N) nodded taking off his hoodie and walking over to the benches. My eyes followed him with my arms crossed. 'Iron wall huh...We could use that. We only got Tsukishima and Yamaguchi when it comes to height and reach. Hinata is all about jump but sooner or later he might hurt himself or get tired so we could use Hinata first then surprise them with our own wall. A Wing Spiker? How high is his jump?' I looked down at his legs and cocked my head to the side. 'He better put those long legs to work...I wonder how his receives are. We need better receivers since we're kinda ass at that.' When he bent over putting his bag down I quickly looked away. 'Haha no. I'm not staring at his ass not today!' 

I ran to the court and we were split into teams. Since we had an even 10 now thanks to (Y/N) over here it was fair and even. On top of that, it means that everyone can play and we don't have to cut Nishinoya off again.

We all got into positions and Suga was the setter for this match. We told (Y/N) to be a middle blocker since I'm pretty sure we all wanted to see this Iron wall for ourselves. The game started and almost immediately when Ashai tried to spike it (Y/N) blocked it making it hit the floor on their side. "Fast as hell reflexes or what?!" I yelled out with a grin. (Y/N) Looked at me with a soft blush and smile. "I'm more confident on the court" He quickly turned back to face the net while I smirked. 'Maybe he is a good player' Kageyama got the ball to set the ball and we started once more. 

Every time Team one had the ball (Y/N) blocked it being able to move quickly to block it and without touching the net once. It was as if he had an internal clock and had it timed to their spikes or hits onto our side! "Alright witch positions!" Daichi yelled seemingly proud as hell judging by the look on his face. (Y/N) wiped his forehead and smiled. "So am I uh...doing okay?" He asked looking at us dead in our eyes. "You serious?" Kageyama asked with (Y/N) nodding. 

"(Y/N) You're awesome!!" Hinata yelled hugging the taller male. "Heh thanks, Hinata" "Yeah You're one hell of a blocker but are you really a good Wing Spiker?" "I..believe so?" "Gods have more confidence giant!" Kageyama yelled crossing his arms. "Leave him alone Kageyama" Yamaguchi interfered before Daichi cut us off. "Get ready!" He yelled making it echo around the gym as we got into positions. This time we had Yamaguchi as Middle blocker. (Y/N) and I was Wing Spikers on the sides and Kageyama was still the setter with Hinata playing outside hitter

"Ready? Go!" He yelled setting the ball into play. We got it over the net but Nishinoya got it from hitting the ground sending it back to us. Kageyama tossed the ball up and without hesitation (Y/N) ran for the ball jumping up and hitting it in a curved way so it went behind the middle blockers. He got to the ground with a loud thud and he had the biggest smile. "I did it!" He yelled out looking at up Tsukishima who was still trying to grapple on how the hell it went behind him!

I snapped out of my shock and slapped him on the back. "Hell yeah, ya did!" He chuckled and looked at me with bright (E/C) eyes filled with determination. "Let's keep going then!" I laughed and nodded. It wasn't wrong with his statement earlier. He seemed a lot more confident after playing and while on the court than when he first walked in.

"Alright Clean Up Everyone!" 

It's been a few weeks since (Y/N) joined our Club and it's been a blast! He's gained some confidence not a lot but enough that they aren't stuttering all the time. They're like Asahi but more badass in my opinion. "Hey, Ryu! Heads up!" I looked over and a volleyball was heading at my face. I ducked and it hit the wall going back to the person yelling. I looked up and saw (Y/N) Rubbing their neck. "Sorry, Hinata wanted to try something real quick but I'm not the best setter" A blush entrapped my face. I hated admitting it but when (Y/N) got nervous or turned into an awkward mess it was so cute! "I-It's okay! Thanks for the heads up! MY face would have been bashed into that wall" 

"Oh, gods I don't wanna think about that" He laughed running his hand through his hair. "My perfect face can't be harmed by the ball. That's Hinata's job to be pumbled in the face by a ball" We both laughed as I picked up some of the left other balls. (Y/N) threw the one he had in his hands into the basket and I followed his example. We went from Volleyball to Basketball real quick. We talked as we cleaned and (Y/N) got the final ball. "Alright we're tied! Can you make the last ball?" (Y/N) Spun the ball in his palms and looked away from me with pink dusting his cheeks. "(Y/N)?" "Hey uh, Ryu?" 

I raised an eyebrow and cocked my head. "Yeah?" I dragged out my response being confused but the fact he couldn't look me in the eye was adorable. "I was uh...wondering if you wanted to go on a da....I uh mean if you wanted to do an uh...an-an activity together...alone j-just us two!" I looked at him and he was a panicking mess physically. "I-I mean you-you don't have to if you don't want to! I-I don't even kn-know if you uh...sw-swing that way. I should have a-aked beforehand I pr-probably made you un-uncomfortable I-" "Oi (Y/N)!" He shut up and looked at me with surprise and worry. 

I grabbed onto his shirt and pulled him down so we were eye to eye. "Calm down. Yes, I will go on a date with you Lightpole. Stop panicking over shit like that. Also, I swing both ways so don't worry about that either. And thirdly" I pecked his cheek and smirked at his blushing face even though mine was probably worse. "Text me when You're coming over" I let him go and walked off to grab my bag. "Yes!" I heard him celebrate with a thud and clink of the VolleyBall Baket. Glancing over my shoulder I saw his back and my eyes travelled down to his ass. I smirked and shook my head my cheeks dusted with pink as I looked away.

"Good Player on and off the court."

And Ye I slipped a Headcannon of mine into the chapter. I headcanon that Tanaka is Bisexual and If you agree with me hell yeah and if you don't tell me what you headcanon him as! Just remember don't be rude! OKay Bye!!
