Dear Diary,

I'm getting used to being back at school. I had to rush this morning - waking up is so hard! Then I met up with Angel, Sadie and Noni. The four of us hung out at Biggby right across Ethan Wanke, sipping cider and catching up about our summers. Angel had gone to the Berkshires with Sadie... those two were about as tight as Rin and I!

But we had to get to classes quickly... today wasn't all that big of a deal. Just a lot of boring review material. I freaked out in Italian, though - the new teacher is already planning a 40-question "quiz".

Ah... I can tell you anything, right, Diary? You wouldn't judge me... even though my schedule is very easy to get to, things are really different this year. I feel like I was stuck in amber at the end of last year and everyone else moved on without me!

Like today, Skates (I should probably clarify - I mean Xandra) and Elena were talking about the sports they were going to try out for. Apparently they both want to do cross-country. I started to interject with how I want to do track, but the conversation just went on, ignoring me. It was like...

Like I wasn't even there. Like I could've walked away, and neither girl would have noticed or cared.

But that's ridiculous, isn't it? I'm still tight with Elena, Xandra, Sadie, Angel, Jewel, and Posie. Right?

Well, at least I have you to tell all my secrets to. Marinetta was absent today - I was really disappointed. She's so incredible, she lights up my days... Arden, who I sat with at lunch in her absence, was really missing her too. When did she get so close to him? Agh, who am I kidding... He's an awesome person with a lot of intuition, despite being a bit over-the-top sometimes. Of course they're friends.

What am I even doing? I should just SPEAK to her - yeah, I'm gonna call her right now! Later, Diary!

This one I had a little more inspiration for - great thanks to @Joosicorn13 for their lovely drawings of Sadie, Elena, and Angel... speaking of which, I also have much appreciation for  @zero-is-my-daddi 's quick suggestion of those names.
