Two people were robbing a corner store. The owner was stuck in a large, iridescent, purple bubble that was floating two feet off the ground. The two robbers seemed to have found what they were looking for, because they set off running down the street.

Plant Girl wanted to chase them, but she had to get the storekeeper out of that bubble. She ran up to the bubble but when she got close, some invisible force was holding her back. After the third attempt, Plant Girl decided some magic was in order.

She quickly moved her hands in quick, complicated motions. The area in front of her began to glow. Soon an entire glowing shield of some kind appeared. Plant Girl suppressed a sigh. Gmqa and Kexin really had thought of everything. Well, no point stewing on it; she still had to get the shopkeeper out of her cousin's magic bubble.

Though, there wasn't any need now, for the shield and the bubble were both fading. In a moment, they were gone altogether.

So Gmqa and Kexin's new magic isn't permanent after all, thought Plant Girl.

After checking to make sure the store owner was all right, she asked her what had been stolen.

"An amulet, thirteen rubies, and a bag of Dust," the girl replied shakily.

Dust was a powder that possessed extreme magical qualities, and Plant Girl didn't like the idea of it being in the hands of her enemies. But what would they want with an amulet and thirteen rubies?

Plant Girl froze. "Oh no," she whispered. "The FOOLS!"
