The party was over and everyone headed back to their places.

Sanaa, Rehan, Vaish and Abhay were the last ones left.

"So its time for us to leave. Vaish would you like us to drop you?" Rehan asked.

"No."

"No."

Two voices answered simultaneously and Rehan just smirked and Sanaa shookher head.

"I mean I can manage." Vaish said.

"I will drop her. We live in the same society." Abhay said.

Sanaa and Rehan masked their surprise and just nodded their heads, not wanting to invade the privacy of the couple.

"Thanks Shenu and thanks Bro for doing this." Abhay said.

"Angel, looks like this idiot is finally growing up! Learning all manners and thanking us." Rehan joked.

"Never change Abhay. Don't grow up. We like you the way you are." Sanaa said and Abhay hugged her and silently said thanks to her.

Rehan and Vaish smiled at them.

"I would have hugged you; to thank you for doing this for my friend but I don't think that you are into hugs and already one attempt at flirting ended in a big lecture." Rehan said and Vaish laughed.

"Good. Always remember that warning before flirting with any other  girl. Don't think that you can go around hurting my friend."

"As if I can do that. She is too precious to me to hurt her just like Abhay is for you." Rehan simply said Vaish's eyes widened.

"Don't worry it will be our secret. I won't tell him or anyone. But know that I'm with you always whenever you need any help. I officially joined team Vaish." Rehan said in an attempt to lighten the atmosphere.

"Thanks Rehan for trusting me with your friend. It means a lot." Vaish said and gave him a side hug.

On the other side, Sanaa said to Abhay, "Don't run from your feelings Abhay. It won't lead you anywhere. Accept them and let her know what you feel."

"You trust me." Abhay said. It was not a question but statement.

"I do and I hope you guys overcome whatever issues you are facing individually." Sanaa replied.

"Thanks for trusting me with Vaish. I know that she is very close to you and your acceptance means a lot." Abhay said.

"Your welcome but don't be too much relaxed. She is a complete package to handle. And even if you handle her, her family's acceptance won't come that easily. She is her father's princess and mother's pride." Sanaa warned him and Abhay just smiled.

"I'm looking forward to meet them but I think we have some time before that. Let me handle this Fireball first. Then we will talk about the volcano." Abhay winked and Sanaa laughed.

And on that note note they said goodbye and departed.

There was a silence in Vaish and Abhay's car which was very odd since they were always arguing about something or discussing something.

"Sorry."

They both said at the same time and then laughed.

"Ok. Me first. I'm sorry for calling you a walking store of misconceptions. It just came out in flow. I really didn't mean it." Abhay explained.

"It's ok. I'm sorry too for calling you egoistic jerk and all. I didn't mean it. Its just that whenever I am arguing with someone I forget my manners." Vaish said.

"And give other person a reality check." Abhay added and for a second Vaish thought that he was teasing her but then saw that he was genuinely talking about it.

"I know that. I'm like that too. Sometimes I forget my boundaries." Abhay said.

"How so you control it? This urge to give the other person a reality check and cross your boundary. Some people really call for it. How do you manage them?" Vaish asked.

"I don't. I give them what they deserve. Because people close to me won't do it. They won't mind me doing it. And those who mind it don't matter to me. I never try to control myself. This is what I am, what you are. Don't try and change it Vaishali." Abhay really wanted Vaish to know that he was ok with what she did.

In fact he liked it because for the first time in a while someone answered him back with good comebacks. Granted that he was going to win this war but he didn't a good competition.

Vaish smiled at his answer. He likes her for who she is. He didn't want her to change. Just the way she likes him for who he was.

Her mom would be so happy to know that she was taking interest in a handsome man. She was sure that Abhay would easily charm her mom. Her dad; well that was another question.

But anyways she was happy. Their war was going to be interesting. It will be fun to defeat Drama King in his own game.

"So are you ready to be defeated, Drama King?" Vaish asked.

"And who is going to defeat me? You, the so called, Drama Queen?" Abhay mocked.

"Do you have a weak memory or are you purposefully forgetting your defeat! I just defeated you in your game at the party and you are still mocking me. Talk about overconfidence." Vaish huffed and Abhay grinned.

"Its called self confidence, Fireball. And a word of advice, don't let these small victories get over your head. I'm an old player of this game. I get what I want." He said with mischief in his tone and Vaish felt her heart beating wildly at the double meaning of his words.

Somehow she knew what he said was not related to this funny game going between them. It was something deeper and she can't help but think about the double meaning behind his words.

Next day everyone at work was relieved to see Abhay back to his normal, easy going attitude. Vaish and Abhay discussed the final stage of their project and gave each other feedback about their work. One thing was sure, as much as they fought in personal life, they complimented each other in their professional life.

The day was almost over and Vaish was on her last file when she heard a knock. Without looking up she allowed the other person to enter. 

After five minutes of silence a sound of flash was heard and Vaish looked  up to see an amused Abhay clicking some pictures of her. 

"You can't do this! It's not fair. Taking my ugly pictures when I'm working is against the protocol. Delete them now." Vaish pleaded and Abhay smirked.

As if you could ever be ugly! Abhay thought.

Well he didn't take her  pictures for their games. He took her picture because he was mesmerised by her beauty. She looked so deeply engrossed in her work, her eyebrows furrowed in attention and her hand constantly typing. The freckles on her cheeks looked so cute and her lips pressed in thin line and he was so tempted to kiss her right then and there.

God only knows how he resisted the thought but he can't help but click a picture to capture this moment. Only if she knew what was going in his dirty mind, she will run away in opposite direction. 

But knowing his Fireball, chances are she will make him run for his life. He smiled at the image and Vaish realised that he has lost his mind; for he was smiling without a reason.

"Abhay, do you know I'm one minute away from calling a mental hospital and getting you admitted there and if you keep on smiling like that we really have to get you there." Vaish said with a sweet but poisonous smile on her face and Abhay's face immediately lost his smile.

He knew that his Fireball was was not joking and would seriously take him there. And heavens help him if she smiled like seductress he will happily go anywhere for her!

Coming back to present he said, "I was not smiling like idiots! I was just thinking of the ways to use these pictures." for my personal use. He silently added.

Now Vaish's face lost her color. "What do you want?" She asked coming directly to the point and Abhay smirked.

"Not so confident now, are we? Anyways I want your time. I want to take you out for a dinner, as a way to apologise for my behaviour earlier. I told you that I will make it up to you and I have only twenty nine days to charm you. So, will you do me the honour of taking you on a date, Ms. Vaishali Khanna?"

Vaish looked at his face for a second. He was keeping a neutral face but she could see the nervousness in his posture. His eyes held anticipation mixed with anxiety. 

She can't help but fill thrilled herself, for it was the first time someone asked her permission to charm her and take her on a date in order to win her heart.

Abhay didn't even need to do that for he already owns her heart but still he was trying to make it up to her and she can't help but fall for him.

Holly molly! She didn't just like Abhay. She felt deeper for him. She knew it the from quiet a long time now but now she understood it all clearly.

Why his rude words hurt her like hell.

Why his smile makes her feel so giddy from inside.

Why his sadness makes her cry.

Why his single look ignites this burning sensation inside her.

Why she wants to read every single in his eyes. 

The answer to all this questions is lies in the single fact.

She is in love with Abhay SIngh.

So...

Vaish finally realised that she is in love! 

What will happen now? Any guesses?

And when will Abhay realise it? And even if they both do realise, will they confess to each other? 

How will they resolve so many issues between themselves!
