Y/N was sitting in his bed. He had just come out of top surgery a few hours ago.

....God, he was sore.

He WOULD be doing something right now, but, because of someone (his partner), all he was focusing on was his recovery, and his big ass hello kitty plushie.

Until there was a knock on his bedroom door.

"Come in." Y/N said, not looking up from his fanfiction that he was reading on his phone (idk what tf ur reading it's your damn phone-)

In came Jupiter. He and Y/N had met each other through book club and had become really good friends. Jupiter lightly came in, clutching two books to his chest.

"Hey, Y/N...How'd surgery go?" Jupiter said, gently taking a seat in the chair next to Y/N's bed. (if you ain't got a seat there, pretend there's a seat for our silly Jupiter man pretty please 🥺🥺🥺)

Y/N looked up from his phone, smiling before putting it down on his bedside table.

"It went good.

...really fucking sore though-" Y/N muttered. He was in a bit of pain.

"Damn..." Jupiter mumbled under his breath before looking around.

"Where's (Partner's Name)?" Jupiter asked, taking another glance around the room.

"He had to go do shit. I don't really know." Y/N replied, glancing at the door before looking back at Jupiter.

Jupiter awkwardly shuffled in his seat. "Oh..." Then, he looked back up at Y/N. "Well- I got you a little something." Jupiter lightly smiled, looking back down at the floor.

"...What is it?" Y/N asked.

Jupiter cleared his throat before nervously putting a book on the bed.

Y/N picked up the book.

It said "Scott Pilgrim 3: Scott Pilgrim & The Infinite Sadness".

"...Oh my God. OH MY GOD." Y/N muttered, getting visibly excited.

"...What? Do-...Do you not like it?" Jupiter mumbled, seeming a little nervous.

"Jupiter, I FUCKING LOVE IT!" Y/N exclaimed. He had been looking for this issue for WEEKS.

Jupiter gave a sigh of relief.

"...Really?" Jupiter asked. This HAD to be a joke.

"REALLY! WHERE THE HELL DID YOU FIND THIS!?"

"...At the local bookstore...in the comic section." Jupiter said, an awkward little smile on his face as he fidgeted with his hands.

"...So, THAT'S where it was!

...thanks, Jupiter." Y/N said, still really excited about his new book.

"You're welcome..."
