TJ stepped away and closed her eyes. She thought about Blaze, compiling whatever she had heard today and had learned at school. She felt her fingers tingle with energy and waved it in front. She opened her eyes and a door like a portal opened. TJ looked at Miriam who held TJ's hand.

TJ looked back at her parents, Nat, Asher and her friends, giving them a thumbs up.

A shield covered them both fully as they walked into the portal and it closed as they reached Blaze.

"Woah!" Miriam exclaimed.

It was truly beautiful. The place was black, yellow and orange. It looked like molten and cooled magma all over. There were trees and birds and hills and a river but everything was made up of magma and fire, some parts of the tree branches were black, the whole trunk was scaled black with magma flowing in it. Which TJ figured out was because it was cooled off. The birds had a body of fire. The river was bright orange and made up of magma.

"I wonder if we could find a Dragon here as well," TJ thought aloud.

"I wish we could. Let's roam around for a few minutes. I really want to see this place," Miriam said and TJ shrugged.

"Sure, let's do it," TJ agreed.

They walked together towards what looked like a range hill. When they got near TJ realized that it was not a range of hills but a dragon's scales. She remembered she saw it on the ice dragon too.

"Miriam, these are not hills. These are dragon scales!" TJ exclaimed.

"What?" Miriam looked excited.

"Yes! I saw it on the Ice Dragon's back when we were in Frost. These are similar but much bigger than the Ice Dragon," TJ told her.

"Oh my god!" Miriam said and on the cue, the Earth shook.

"Woah!" The girls exclaimed.

There was a loud growl and then it stopped.

"Do you think what I think?" TJ asked and Miriam nodded.

TJ bent down and touched the land. It wasn't hard as normal land it. This felt like flesh and it was warm and not blazing hot.

"It feels softer than land," TJ said. Her fingers felt hot.

"No wonder this plane is so hot. It's actually a humongous Dragon!" Miriam stated and TJ nodded.

"Yes!" TJ and Miriam high fived and TJ realized something. "Hey, Miriam. Is it just me or the place just became hotter?" TJ asked.

"Nopes. I think my shield is getting weaker. We should leave now," Miriam said and TJ's eyes widened. She immediately made a portal home and they quickly went through it and TJ closed the portal behind her and sighed seeing the familiar ground.

"That was awesome!" Miriam exclaimed and everyone turned to see TJ and Miriam who were sweating profusely.

"You both look so tanned. I am so jealous right now," Emilia exclaimed as she hugged Miriam.

"Oooh yes. That is a gorgeous tan, this is amazing," Miriam gushed.

"Do you guys need something cold?" Clara asked. It was the first time she talked since then.

"Yes, please!" TJ exclaimed, wiping the sweat from her face from her hands.

"Take this," Asher gave her his handkerchief and TJ took it gratefully.

"You can use mine," Rafael offered Miriam his handkerchief and she took it. TJ did not miss a tint of red on her now perfectly tanned cheeks.

"You won't believe what we found out!" Miriam was excited.

"What? Did you see Dragons?" Dean asked.

"Oh no. Actually, the whole plane is made on a Dragon," Miriam told him.

"What do you mean?" Amaya asked.

"She means that Blaze isn't just a blazing plane. It is actually a Dragon. The whole plane is on the Dragon's back. The land wasn't hard and the hills looked the Dragon's scales. There was a river of magma, the birds were made of fire and there were trees formed of the dragon scale shreddings," TJ explained.

"Woah. I surely want to go there someday!" Rafael exclaimed and looked at Miriam who grinned at him.

"Hey, I got you some ice cream," Clara said arriving with a box full of ice cream.

"Ice cream!" Rafael, Amaya, Nat, and Miriam screamed together and rushed towards Clara.

TJ laughed but walked towards Clara. She desperately needed that ice cream.

After the ice cream session, Clara and Steven explained to the kids how Void was placed. They told them that it was more or less like a ground with a narrow alley leading to the thousands of dungeons. Basically Void, like its name had free space, but confined space. It wasn't unlimited like other dimensions.

After the session, Rafael went to his room and worked on getting signals. Dean and Nat offered to get every book on Void from the school library and went to get it while Amaya, Miriam, Emilia, and TJ worked with Asher.

When Asher had revealed he could read TJ's mind, everyone was surprised. Only TJ and Calista knew except Alastair who had told Asher about them.

Calista had made Asher connect to his powers by the method Asher already knew. Meditating.

The process was slow but now they needed his powers as much as they can. Asher could read only TJ's mind for now, but while he trained with Calista, he could understand what was going on her mind too. It wasn't that clear, but he could decipher it a bit.

"Asher you have to meditate and concentrate on any one of the girls except Tiffany. See if you get anything," Steven instructed Asher who nodded and closed his eyes.

Asher focused on his breathing first, this was always the first step. When he knew he was focused he tried to focus on Amaya. He chose Amaya because he knew her the most out of the three and the connection would be simpler to form.

At first, he got nothing. Then he tried harder. He pictured himself in her head and suddenly he heard something.

"I hope Asher doesn't read my thoughts...." She was saying, but after that everything was blurry.

Asher tried harder this time.

"What if something happens to Ms. Thorton. What if we are taking too much time? I hope that man is unsuccessful in his plans," Amaya was saying.

"TJ looks so sad. I wish I could help her. Using my powers would be wrong but she's confused. Gosh, I wish I could conceal like that," Amaya said and Asher smiled to himself. He decided to hear Miriam's thoughts.

Asher focused on Miriam and imagined if he was inside Miriam's head like he did with Amaya. It was tough because he didn't know her much but he could hear some things.

"I wish I could go back on Blaze. I can't keep it out of my head," Miriam was saying and a blurry picture appeared in Asher's head.

He tried harder and the picture focused. The place looked like a painting. There were trees, birds, hills and a river but everything was black and orange. Maybe that was Blaze. Suddenly the picture moved and Miriam was there, without the shield. She stood against the black trunk of the tree.

Then a boy appeared and held Miriam's hand and she smiled at him.

"This is truly amazing," The boy said and Asher knew who this was.

"I know. I feel like home," Miriam said.

The boy tightened his hand around her and said, "I feel like home wherever you are,"

Asher decided it was an invasion of privacy and he got out of her head and focused on Emilia.

He did the same he did with Amaya and Miriam. Asher pictured himself in Emilia's head and focused until he heard something.

"Mama," Emilia was saying, "I'll avenge you, Mama, you don't worry. That Rue would be crushed as soon..." The voice was blurry.

Asher tried harder.

"Papa always told me it was Rue who trapped you in her spells, Mama. I wish you were here. I miss you. I'll kill her for you, Mama," Emilia was saying and a blurry picture of a woman appeared.

Asher tried to focus but the picture won't clear. Maybe Emilia's remembrance of her mother was blurry too.

"Hey guys, guess what we got. I found this one in Frost," It was Dean with Nat coming after him casually.

Asher decided to get a peek into Nat's mind as well. He pictured getting into Nat's brain and then everything was clear.

"This redhead is so damn hot...Ugh, I should not think about other girls...but what should I do? Fiona doesn't care anymore...all she cares about is studying and her career and becoming a doctor. She doesn't even get me... I should stop thinking about this...maybe I should break up with her when I get back. Yeah, I should...I don't even feel the same way for like I did before..." Asher got out.

Nat and Fiona weren't happy together? When did that happen? Why didn't Nat tell him or Annie?

"Finally, Dean did something worthwhile. What's in the book?" Amaya was saying and suddenly he heard a voice in his head.

"What has happened to Maya? Why is she behaving like this? Is it because I kissed TJ and she thought I was at fault too? I should apologize to TJ, maybe that would change Maya's mind," It was Dean.

Maya? Wow.

"Look, Amaya. Stop being bitchy alright. We all are trying and tired," Dean said out aloud.

"What the fuck am I saying?" Dean was thinking.

"Whatever Dean. What did you get?" Amaya asked.

"My Maya has changed. I don't like this, she always made me smile. Why was she acting this way?" Dean thought and Asher decided to come out.

He had heard too much today. Wow, this was weird.

Asher opened his eyes and saw Annie sitting in front of him.

"Sup?" He asked through his mind and Annie looked at him.

"I love you," Annie thought and Asher grinned.

"I love you more," Asher thought replied. He wondered if he could talk to anyone else too.

"Asher, did you hear anything?" Steven asked and everyone's attention went to him.

"Yes. I did. It was quite clear after I focused more. I could even see some pictures if someone was imagining something," Asher said seriously not looking at anyone but Steven.

"That's progress," Steven said and Asher nodded.

"Sir there is another thing," He said and Steven motioned him to go on. "You see Annie...I mean Tiffany and I can communicate through our minds. It works two ways for us. I want to try if I can do this with others too," Asher told him and Steven looked taken aback but nodded.

Asher inhaled deeply and focused on Amaya. He thought if he pictured himself in her brain then he could hear her thoughts, maybe it worked if he pictured her in his mind. He decided to try.

Asher imagined and tried to say something to Amaya.

"Amy. If you can hear, I just want to say that we'll find Ms. Thorton, have faith," Asher said through his multiple times until he heard a gasp from Amaya and he knew he was successful. He didn't open his eyes though.

"I could hear him!" Amaya exclaimed.

Asher moved to Miriam.

"Rafael likes you too. Make a move," He said and it had to be less repeated than Amaya's when he heard her say.

"I heard him too!" Miriam exclaimed and Asher smiled.

Asher then tried to talk to Emilia.

"I heard your thoughts about your mom. She would be very proud of you right now. But don't let revenge blind you," Asher said this two times before Emilia gasped loudly.

"I heard him too. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks, Asher," Emilia said and Asher nodded and focused on Nat.

"You and me. We need to talk," Asher said once.

"Got it, bro," Nat said. There was seriousness in his voice.

"Dean. Open your eyes and you'll know why Amaya has been behaving like this," He told Dean.

"You know?" He asked through his mind.

"Almost everyone does, everyone with eyes. By the way, Annie forgave you the moment she punched you," Asher told him.

"Will, you at least give me a clue?" Dean asked through his mind again. This was becoming a real conversation and Asher was having no difficulty doing this.

"Dean it is obvious. Just tell Amaya what is on your mind. Listen to your heart, don't mess up," Asher said, "And Maya? Kiddish much?" Asher added.

"Hey!" Dean said aloud and Asher snickered.

"Sorry!" He said as he opened his eyes.

"I think I am getting used to this," Asher said and everyone laughed.

"Do not ever peek into my mind. Unless I tell you too," Dean said and Asher chuckled.

"What was he thinking?" It was Amaya's voice in his head.

"He's wondering why you are rude to him. It hurts him, Amy," Asher replied, but Amaya didn't say anything.

"I think you have done enough for today, Asher. Can you go and check on Rafael?" Steven asked and Asher nodded. He felt tired as if someone drained all his energy.

"I'll come with you," Nat said and Asher nodded. Nat and Asher ran towards Rafael and his room.

"You are breaking up with Fiona? How did that happen? Why doesn't anyone of us know?" Asher asked as soon as they were out of the practice ground.

"I...I wasn't sure of myself. It has been like this for the past few months. Fiona won't hang out because she has to study or she would always talk about what college she wants to go to. When I ask her if she wanted to continue dating, she won't answer properly. She's not the same girl I had a crush on all those months ago," Nat said and Asher stopped and looked at Nat.

"Are you sure?" He asked him.

"The thing is that not only Fiona, but I have changed too. That day in Gregory's party, this junior was flirting with me and I had no issues flirting with her. Fiona refused to come because she had to study and I was pissed. We didn't hook up, we almost did, but I backed out. Then I got piss drunk and Mark had to drop me home," Nat told him.

"Nat...I...I don't know. Maybe you should break up then. I mean it's all up to you," Asher said, even though he had no idea what to say.

"Yeah. Now let's see what Raf is up to," Nat gave his signature grin and Asher patted his back as they went towards his and Rafael's room.

Maybe there were two matchmakings to be done. For the first time, Asher was excited as much as for this Annie was.
