Alright, I know I was going to do the other chapter, but this popped into my head and I HAD to write it. Short and sweet, so more of an imagine, but 🤷‍♂️ <3

Percy's POV:

"FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK," (lol it didn't autocorrect that) I heard Y/n yelling from her bedroom. I ran to the door and knocked on it quickly.

"Y/n? You okay?" I asked, entering with caution. I saw Y/n sitting down against her bedframe, looking at her phone with tears in her eyes.

"She... he died..." Y/n whispered, glancing over at her nightstand. I directed my eyes to where she was looking, and immediately understood her pain. I sat down beside her, placing an hand on her head to pull her onto my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around her torso, rocking back and forth to calm her slightly.

"I know how you feel. It's okay," I whispered into her ear. She dug her face into my shoulder and sobbed quietly. If only she knew...

A week later

"PERSEUS JACKSON," Y/n yelled my name from her bedroom, sounding angry yet sad at the same time.

"God, what is it this time?" I asked, leaning on her doorframe. Y/n slammed-

-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows onto her bedsheets, tears brimming her eyes.

"SHE KILLED THEM. SHE FUCKING KILLED THEM," she screamed at me, sobbing as she did so. "FRED. DOBBY. HEDWIG. TONKS, LUPIN, COLIN, SIRIUS, MOODY THEY'RE ALL DEAD NOW. JK ROWLING IS A MONSTER"

"Y/n, Y/n calm down-" I tried.

"NO I WILL NOT CALM DOWN. FRED IS DEAD AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO," she bawled, shoving her face in her hands. 

"Oh Jesus Christ Y/n, calm down. They're just book characters." I was crushed when I read the books too, but I'll never admit that to her.

"OH SO FRED GIDEON WEASLEY DESERVED TO DIE, HM? WHAT ABOUT REMUS JOHN LUPIN, OR NYMPHADORA ANDROMEDA TONKS? TEDDY NO LONGER HAS PARENTS, THE WEASLEY'S ARE MISSING A CHILD, AND HARRY IS MISSING ANY FORM OF FAMILY AT ALL!" Y/n screeched. I sighed, giving in to her antics. I sat down beside her and gave her the biggest hug I had in me.

"There, there," I cooed at her like she was a baby. "Oh I can't wait until you read the Maze Runner."

WHAT DID I SAY, HMMM? 

I just feel like Percy would be such a Harry Potter fan if he wasn't dyslexic, y'know?

This chapter is rubbish, wrote it in ten minutes, not taking it down 'cause it's funny.
