TW: Swearing, physical abuse

Y/N's Second person POV:

"Pick up the pace a bit, would you, Y/N? We need a proper plan in place in half an hour," Clarisse snapped at you, bending down over the bench covered in bits of paper. These papers contained the plan for the next game of capture the flag. Being an Athena child, you were tasked with making said plan. So far, the Ares cabin will play offence, along with half of the Hermes cabin. Everyone else will play defence, meaning the Athena kids, the other half of the Hermes cabin, and the Aphrodite cabin. They guard the red team's flag.

"Sorry," you mumbled, your eyes scanning the papers for any missing details. Blue team are definitely sending Percy as an offensive player, along with the Apollo kids for some longer range. The Demeter children will most likely be offence too. 

"Okay! We need to work around Percy and the Apollo and Demeter kids! Clarisse, you take Percy, you're our best swordswoman." Clarisse nodded as you said that, leaning back. "Ares and Hermes cabin, split yourselves between the Demeter and Apollo kids. They will be further back, using powers and bows, got it?"

Everyone liked the plan, and agreed in unison. "Let's get this show on the road."

An hour later

"What the fuck, l/n! That plan was meant to work!" Clarisse yelled at your face at the end of the game. Blue team had won, the Hephaestus kids had snuck through the bushes.

"Well I'm not a psychic, I wasn't sure if it would work! That was the most statistically probable solution!" You channelled your inner Athena in that sentence, clearly angering the daughter of Ares.

"You threw the game!" Clarisse roared, shoving you backwards. "How the Hades are you even a child of Athena? You're too dumb to fit in with them."

The words hit you like a wrecking ball. Dumb, you? No... You were really smart... right? Your spiralling thoughts were interrupted by a knee to the stomach, graciously given by Clarisse. You doubled over, coughing and spluttering for air. Clarisse shoved her elbow into your spine, causing your legs to give way beneath you. You crashed to the floor, and Clarisse grabbed your hair to hold your head up.

"This is what you get for making me lose," she growled in your ear. The girl stomped on your foot, causing a sharp snap! You cried out in pain, tears blurring your vision.

"Fuck you," you gasped as Clarisse let you go. She gave you another kick to the ribs before storming off. You rose unsteadily to your feet, coughing up blood.

"Y/N! Y/N, where are you?" A voice called out. You'd recognise the voice anywhere. Leo. Wait, shit, he'd flip if he saw you like this! You hobbled away, keeping your head down.

Back at the Athena cabin

When you arrived in your cabin, you broke down sobbing. Your foot throbbed, you back ached and you had a disgusting metallic taste in your mouth from the coughed-up blood. You were just grabbing a new shirt, one that wasn't sweaty, when you heard a knock at the door. Thinking it was just one of your siblings, you yelled 'come in!'

"Hey- WHAT HAPPENED-?" Leo Valdez was the one entering your cabin. You shrieked and jumped, landing on your sore foot. You crumpled to the ground in pain, and Leo scrambled to catch you. Leo sat you on the floor, leaning against him as he asked "Who?"

"Clarisse," you grumbled. "My plan for capture the flag didn't work, and she got really mad at me."

"That bitch," Leo said under his breath. "Come on, let's get you to the infirmary." Leo picked you up bridal style, and carried you out the door, kissing your forehead as he did so. "Then we can go destroy a certain daughter of Ares."

Ahhh, finally done! Again, I'm so so sorry @Steve_mcqueen123 for taking months for this to be written.
