Y/N's POV (Second person)

"Leoooooo, I'm boooored," you whined. Leo just chuckled.

"Sup Bored, I'm Leo," he replied smugly.

"Leo, I'm serious."

"No, you're Bored!"

"LEO!" You were so annoyed now.

"Okay, okay, gods. What do you want to do then?" He asked, twisting towards you.

"I want cuddles. Duh," you said.

"Fine. C'mere," he said as he stretched his arms around you. As you snuggled up, Leo warmed his arms. It was heaven on earth. In a few minutes, you were fast asleep.

Leo's POV (First person)

She looked so peaceful. As she slept, I continued working. I was making her a necklace. It had a flame charm for me, and a (your favourite thing) for her. After about 20 more minutes, I smelt smoke. I stood quickly, gently setting Y/N on the ground. Then... BOOM. Bunker 9 exploded. I was blown into the wall, and the wind was knocked out of me. Falling to the floor, I thanked the gods that I was immune to fire. But I, unfortunately, wasn't immune to debris. I had to dodge around fallen rock and bricks, needing to move backwards sometimes. I had just made it to the door when I heard a scream.

"LEOOOOOOOOOO!" It was Y/N. Fuck! I had forgotten! Gods, Leo, why are you so dumb? I sprinted back through the haze to find an unconscious Y/N, trapped under a smoking support beam. It was laying diagonally across her chest, burning her more by the second. Shit shit shit! I rummaged around my toolbelt, pulling out a crowbar. Trying to work as quick and gentle as I could, I shifted the plank off of Y/N, careful not to touch the burns across her chest.

"Please, please, please don't be dead!" I whispered frantically to myself. The plank was up enough for me to throw it away. Y/N still looked terrible though. Her shirt was jet black and sticking to her skin. Blisters were peppered all up her arms and legs. Fuck she looked bad. I lifted her gently, cautious not to touch the burns.

"WILL!"

Will's POV (Bet you didn't see that one coming!)

Will was just relaxing in Cabin 7 when he heard someone calling out his name. He ran outside and discovered a smoking Leo with an unconscious girl in his arms. Her limbs were dangling helplessly, and her H/L, H/C hair was draped across Leo's arm.

"Gods, what happened?" Will exclaimed, taking her from Leo. While it was burnt, he could decipher the girl's feature's to make out Y/N's face. Leo, meanwhile, was in tears.

"I-I was working i-in Bunker 9 and s-something ex-exploded," he stuttered. Tears were streaming down his face like a waterfall. "A s-support beam f-fell on her and got s-stuck. I-I'm s-s-orry."

Then he broke down. Will called for Kayla to take care of Leo and rushed to the infirmary. Y/N was now his top priority. Will slowly peeled off her shirt. Gross, but he had to. Michael prepared some nectar and ambrosia, so he could work on healing the burns. This was going to take a while.

Y/N's POV (first person)

Pain. That's all I could feel. Everywhere. Especially on my chest. My lungs were struggling to get air in them. I started to hyperventilate. Muffled voices filled my head and I felt a hand in mine. There were two people. Both male.

"Y/N? Y/N, can you hear me?" The voice drifted through my hazy mind. I used all my energy and gently squeezed the hand, showing that my answer was yes.

"I love you so much, Y/N," said one of the people, and my hand got squeezed back. I assumed that the person who said that was the person holding my hand. I think I could make out Leo's voice.

"Leo, step back. I need to do some check-ups," said the other person. Yep, it was Leo. And Will, I think. I started to open my eyes, squinting in the bright light. The first thing I saw was a worried little elf face, leaning over mine. His eyes were red and teary, and he looked tired.

"Oh, thank gods," he exclaimed. "I love you so much Y/N. I'm so glad you get to hear that."

"I love you too, Leo," I rasped. I was going to be okay with Leo by my side.
