Y/N's POV (Second person)

You were aboard the Argo II, chatting to Jason. Leaning on the railing, looking out over the trees and water, you felt calm. There was no one around, as it was around 12am, but you couldn't sleep. There wasn't anything better to do, so you decided to take a breather outside with Jason.

"I told you we should come out here. It's so calm and peaceful," you said, hip-bumping (Is that a word?) Jason while smiling at him.

"Okay, okay, fine, it's nice. But I know something nicer," he replied, smirking.

"What?"

"You," Jason said, giving you a kiss on your temple.

"Gods, your such a dork," you said while laughing. You planted a quick kiss on his lips, smiling as you did.

"Oh, is that so, huh? I'm a dork?" He retorted, feigning hurt.

"Yeah, suuuuuuch a dork," you said back.

"Oh well. It just shows I love you," Jason said, giving you a friendly push on the chest. That's when you got an idea for an awesome prank. You wobbled, pretending he actually pushed you quite hard, and fell off the railing.

Jason's POV (Third person)

"Y/N!" Jason screeched as she fell. He could hear her screams as she plummeted towards the ocean. Without thinking twice, Jason leaped off the edge and dove towards Y/N's flailing body. She was unconscious, and her arms and legs were flapping everywhere.

Faster

Faster!

FASTER!

Jason thought as he shot towards Y/N like a rocket. Stretching out his arms, he wrapped her in a tight embrace, slowing the fall and hovering over the ocean. Righting himself, he flew to the island and lowered Y/N to the ground. She was pale and breathing heavily, awakening.

"Oh my gods, Y/N, are you okay? I'm so so sorry, I must have underestimated my strength and I-"

Y/N cut him off by placing a hand on Jason's chest.

"Jason, don't worry. I knew what I was doing," she said softly.

"Wh-what? You meant to do that? Y/N, how could you?" Jason cried in anguish.

"Jason, I'm a daughter of Poseidon. (Sorry if you aren't.) Look around!" She stood and gestured to the ocean. "We were only around 250 metres in the air. Percy fell 300. I would have fallen in the water. Dad wouldn't have let me get hurt. It was a prank."

"Oh you dirty little trickster!" Jason said, tickling her stomach. "Please, don't do that again! I would have killed myself if that was real."

"Don't worry, I plan on sticking around for a long time yet," Y/N answered earnestly. She pressed her lips against Jason's, and he melted into it. Y/N really was an awesome girlfriend.
