You'd think that Nico would be a chill brother and let his little sister get away with everything.

Here's a few instances why he's the complete opposite of that:

1) Hazel and Frank went out on a date. They practically never kissed or did PDA but this one time, Hazel and Frank got caught up in a moment and shared a kiss. Of course Nico had to Iris Message them at that exact time. They jumped away from eachother. Nico yelled at Frank so loud, that the entire room echoed with his voice "KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF ZHANG!". Hazel was bright red and she awkwardly waved her hand through the mist to end the vision.

2) When Hazel and Frank were visiting Camp Halfblood, Frank didn't want to sleep in the Ares Cabin since his siblings were busy giving a kid an initiation. So, He decided to spend the night in Cabin 13. Frank knocked on the door and asked Hazel if he could stay there that night. She took his hand and led him towards her bed. Nico woke up with a start and said "Frank! What are you doing here?" Frank was scared of Nico and didn't answer. So Hazel told her brother. Nico said "Fine! But you're sleeping on the floor Zhang and don't you dare go anywhere near my little sister."
Frank nodded without making any eye contact. Hazel groaned and smacked her brother with a pillow saying "I hate you"

3) Everytime Nico caught Hazel and Frank holding hands, he gave him a glare that said "Watch out". So, whenever Nico gave him a death stare, Frank dropped his hand and Hazel looked hurt. That's when Nico glares at him again and cracks his knuckles in a way that says "Hold her hand, you're hurting her and I'll kill you."

4) It was easier to get Hades' approval to Propose to Hazel than Nico's. After asking Nico, he was bombarded with various threats, very gruesome ones.

But at the end of the day, Nico knows that there's no one better for his sister than Frank and that's what makes him the best brother ever.
