Hello? Hello? Anybody out there? Cause I don't hear a sound...

Nico walked alone in the forest, sniffling slightly as he thought of Percy and Annabeth together.

Alone, Alone, I don't know where the world is but I miss it now.

Nico felt the abandonment strike him hard. Everyone was always afraid of him, but at least he had Jason to talk to. He missed Camp more than he thought.

I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name like a fool at the top of my lungs.

The son of Hades sat down, his feet dangling over a cliff and yelled "Nico!" as loud as he could so he knew this wasn't just a horrible nightmare.

Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright but it's never enough.

Nico shut his eyes, remembering the days when he and Bianca would play together. When he opened them, all the heartbreak came rushing back.

Cause my, echo, echo, is the only voice coming back.

"Bianca, are you there?" Nico whispered, but there was only the echo of his voice.

Shadow, shadow, is the only friend that I have.

Nico stared at his shadow on the ground, realizing that it was the only thing that followed him wherever he went.

Listen, Listen, I would take a whisper if it's all you had to give...

"Nico, I'm so so sorry. I-I love you," Nico imagined Percy saying. By now, the tears were streaming down his cheeks.

But it, isn't, isn't. You could come and save me and try to chase the crazy right out of my head.

The one thing Nico wanted more than anything was for Percy to save him from this horrible nightmare called life. Was that so hard for him to do?

"Percy, I love you," Nico whispered to no one.

"Percy please. I can't do this," Nico begged.

An image of Bianca appeared in Nico's mind, making him sob. He missed her so so much.

Once again...

Nico glared at the ground, realizing that memories and words would never change what was happening in his life. He got to his feet and continued journeying alone.

Just my, echo... My, shadow... You're my only friend...

Nico trudged along, staring at his shadow and whispering "Percy."

"PERCY I LOVE YOU!!! YOU IDIOT I LOVE YOU!!!" Nico screamed

My... Shadow... Shadow...

Nico sat down on the ground and started crying into his hands.

Hello, hello, anybody out there...

"Please... Anyone," Nico hiccuped.

Suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around Nico.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." Percy whispered.
