Jason ran to his girlfriend's side, tears in his eyes.

"Piper, you can't leave me!" he sobbed. He pulled his girlfriend's limp, bleeding body close to his own. Piper gasped.

"Jason, I can't hang on baby. I want to, but... I... can't..." her breaths became shallow and raspy. Jason cried harder.

"I love you Pipes," he whispered, tears streaming down his face.

"I love you too," she whispered faintly. Then her eyes fluttered shut and all the warmth left her body. Jason let out a strangled cry.

"I'll never forget you," he whispered.
