Nico laughed as his horse thumped against the ground. He decided he rather liked horses. Pegasi (or is it pegasuses?) were much more difficult to tame. Probably since they were part of Poseidon's domain, and Percy Jackson is Poseidon's son.

Ah... Percy Jackson. The name no longer sent chills up his spine. The old feeling of a thundering heart, a tidal wave of love (no pun intended), and a, uh, slightly uncomfortable feeling down there was long gone. Now, all those feelings were directed toward someone else entirely.

"Hey, Nicky, you comin'?" Will Solace asked, his horse trotting up beside Nico's. Nico huffed.

"I told you not to call me that!" Nico barked at his friend. Will simply laughed.

"Yeah, but since when do I listen? My father is Apollo. You should know you can't contain the sun," Will said with a smirk. Nico fought the blush that threatened to rise to his cheeks.

"What's the matter, am I just too hot for you?" Will asked, licking his bottom lip slightly. Nico's breath hitched in his throat. Will did that constantly, and it was a major turn on for Nico.

Nico just rolled his eyes and sent his horse into a gentle trot. Will rode his own horse alongside Nico's.

"C'mon! I wanna show you something," Will said, pulling ahead of Nico before he could even respond. Nico sighed but followed his friend.

Will lead them into a deeper part of the woods, one that didn't give off much sunlight. Nico thought it was unusual of his friend to bring him here, especially since Will's father was Apollo and all.

"You like it?" Will asked, climbing off his horse. Nico got off his own, and for the first time, took in the sheer beauty of the sanctuary of the place they'd just entered.

The trees were a bright green, much brighter than normal grass. Orange and brown leaves and bracken littered the forest floor. The looming trunks that held up each canopy of leaves was a deep brown, making the area seem that much more gorgeous. The sunlight filtered through the leaves overhead, casting a gentle, golden glow on the place. It was incredible that Will had found this.

"Wow," Nico whispered as he took in the sight. Will smirked.

"I knew you'd like it! See, there's no need for you to be so grumpy," Will said with a goofy grin. Nico smiled widely.

"It's amazing!" Nico said. Will opened his mouth to say something, but shut it immediately.

"What?" Nico asked. Will stayed silent. "Tell me!"

"It's just... You have such a gorgeous smile," Will said sheepishly. Nico blushed.

"You know what would make it more gorgeous though?" Nico asked after a hearbeat. Will shook his head.

"Nothing. It's already perfect," Will said quietly.

"That's where you're wrong, because your smile pressing roughly against my smile would make it complete," Nico said. Before Will could say anything, Nico pinned the son of Apollo to one of the nearby trees and kissed him passionately.

Oh my gods this is really happening, Nico thought as he pressed himself closer to Will. They were toe to toe, groin to groin, chest to chest, and lips to lips. Nico shoved himself lustfully against his crush and began rubbing Will's neck. Nico trickled his fingers down the length of Will's neck. Will shivered visibly beneath him.

Will was eagerly kissing back, shoving his tongue into Nico's mouth. The feeling became overwhelming, until the only thing Nico could manage to moan out was Will's name.

"Gods baby, that's hot," Will gasped after a time. Nico pulled back and pressed his forehead against Will's.

"Wow," Nico panted.

"That's the second time you've said wow to me today. I must be doing pretty dam good!" Will joked. Nico rolled his eyes and took in the gorgeous view of Will's eyes. So beautiful and so hard to ignore...

"Bet I can make you say it a third time," Will purred. Nico smiled slightly.

"Twice is enough for one day," Nico said. Will sighed.

"But, babe-"

"No. I wanna get back to camp," Nico said grudgingly. Will sighed.

"Fine. But you can't say you didn't love it. Right?" Will's voice got higher at the end, like he was nervous. Nico cracked a smile.

"Just a tiny bit," Nico said.

"Tiny?" Will said, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Okay, a lotta bit," Nico laughed. Will pulled him in for another very passionate kiss before pulling away.

"We need to get back. They'll be wondering where we are," Will said, jogging over to his horse. Then he turned to Nico. "You coming?"

Nico smiled. "Of course."
