Percy made his way from the dining pavilion to the Hades cabin. Nico was here today on one of his rare visits. Prey intended on a asking him something they'd just told him at dinner. He just hoped...actually, Percy didn't know what he hoped. For it to be true? A lie? He wasn't sure.

At last he reached the Hades cabin and stopped before he knocked. Someone was singing. It came from inside. He listened for a while, the lines reaching him easily.

"I got troubled thoughts band a self-esteem to match,

What a catch, what a catch

And all I can think of is the way I'm the one who charmed the one who gave up on you, who gave up on you..."

Percy had had enough and knocked. The singing abrubtly stopped. Steps were heard and the door swung open, revealing an irritated Nico

"Jackson." Was all he said but Percy cut to the catch.

"Is it true?"

He looked baffled, "What?"

"That...that you have feelings for me."

His face paled and he moved to shut the door, "No."

Percy stopped him before he could, "Don't lie."

Nico looked to the side and set his jaw. He took a while to answer the second time. "Yes."

Percy took that as his cue and cupped Nico's face, kissing him. Nico was surprised at first but then kissed him back.

When they pulled away, Nico didn't waste a second to ask, "But you and Annabeth--"

Percy shrugged, "I guess we'll have to break up."

"But both of you've been through--"

"And I finally realized it was you the whole time. Not her."

"Are you sure?"

Percy nodded, "More than ever."

It was quiet for a second.

"So...?" Nico broke the silence.

Percy held out his hand, "Come with me to tell her. I don't want to waste a second more to be with you."

Nico took his hand and together they walked back to the dining hall.
