Piper had dumped Jason 3 months ago. She'd been madly in love with him, but he'd started spending more time with Nico and less with her. They'd drifted apart quite quickly, almost like their feelings had never been there. When she broke up with him, Jason realized he never really loved her. He just wasn't sure of himself and thought she was the one. And then Nico came along and he knew. Surprisingly, he and Piper had ended on good terms and they became good friends. But Nico...he wasn't yet quite sure what to make of the son of Hades. All he knew was that he had developed a huge crush on the son of Hades but he didn't want top tell him. He didn't know how he would react.

Tonight, they were planing on going to a movie together. It wasn't a date. No matter what anybody else said. No one knew Jason was gay either. No one but Piper, and as far as he knew she hadn't told anyone. They were good friends, he was even helping her with the guy she liked now. A son of Apollo named Alex. She also helped Jason dress for tonight. She also knew Jason liked Nico and she'd been trying since forever to get them to go on a "date".

She thought her wish would be full filed tonight.

Jason stepped out of the lonely Zeus cabin at Camp Half-Blood. He'd come to visit for a month. So far he'd only been here for a week. All moments mostly spent with Nico. Before fully heading out, he looked down at himself. Hoping, for the first time, that he looked good. He wore a crew neck sweater, jeans, and black Vans. He couldn't look that bad, right? At that moment, someone tapped his shoulder behind him. Jason turned. It was Nico. And he looked great. Even though it was his usual style, he just looked hot.

Nico wore a black v-neck shirt under a new black fleecy leather jacket. A jacket Jason thought Piper had bought and forced him to keep and wear tonight. He had on ripped black jeans wear a silver chain hung from one jean loop to another, holding his sword. And black Converse.

Jason stared for a long time before he noticed Nico was starting to look uncomfortable and he was blushing. It only made him look more adorable. Then Jason realized he was staring and blushed too.

"Uhh..." Jason didn't know what to say.

"Umm...we should go, Grace." Nico stuffed his hands in the pockets of his jacket.

"Yeah, let's go." Jason turned and started toward Thalia's tree. Nico took long strides to catch up to him, trying to hold back a smile.

"Jason?"

"Yeah?"

"We're not allowed to leave camp at night."

"Of course..."

Nico held out his hand and he took it, melting into the shadows together. They shadow traveled to the nearest theater.

"Whoa! That was..." Jason trailed off, unable to finish the sentence.

"It might feel word for the first time." Nico gave him an apologetic glance.

"What? No! It was amazhang. Something different."

"Really?"

"Yes, Nico." Jason meant it.

Nico looked away, "So what movie should we watch?"

"Finding Dori?"

Nico turned back and raised an eyebrow.

"Finding Nemo was my favorite movie as a kid."

"Okay then."

They bought their tickets and went inside. They found the movie room easily and sat at the very top. Then they remembered they hadn't gotten any snacks. Nico started to get up but Jason stopped him.

"I'll buy them. What do you want?"

"A red Icee, chocolate covered raisins and popcorn."

"Okay, I'll be right back."

Jason made his way to the snack shop and bought what Nico asked, buying a large popcorn to share and sour straws and a coke icee for himself. When he got back to Nico, the previews were halfway done.

"Any good movies coming soon?" Jason asked Nico, handing him his snacks and not bothering to keep his voice low, the room was pretty much empty.

"If you like super heroes, Avengers." Nico set his drink between them. Jason set his to his left. They both started munching on the candy, leaving the popcorn for later.

They finished watching the previews and the movie finally started. They both moved on to the popcorn after a while. Once in a while their fingers would brush and they'd both blush like a corny fan fiction. But under the wane light it wasn't noticeable so they'd brush it off and forget it. At one point during the movie, Jason confused his drink for Nico's and didn't avert his eyes from Merlin, Nemo, and Dory as he leaned down to drink from it. Nico noticed Jason was about to drink from the wrong one and turned his head to inform him, "That's--"

Jason's lips stopped him from completing his sentence.

Jason realized what was happening and both their faces flushed crimson. They pulled away quickly.

"I'm sorry, I--" Jason started.

"Its fine. Forget it." Nico turned away rapidly and they sat I'm awkward silence for the rest of the movie. Neither looking at the other.

When the movie ended, they got out as fast as they could and shadow traveled back to camp. Jason started walking back to his cabin as soon as they got there. Nico went the opposite way. He liked to walk for a bit before disappearing mid walk but Jason turned and pulled him backs toward him, facing him, before he lost his nerve.

"Actually, I'm not sorry."

It took a moment for Nico to register what he'd said but then Jason kissed him for real that time.
