"Guys, it's been, a week, and look at him!" Piper gestured behind her, whispering to Leo, Calypso, Percy, Annabeth and Grover.

The whole group turned to look at Jason, cuddling with his humanoid brick girlfriend on the grass by a tree. The tree's nymph was weirded out and walked as far away as she could from her own tree. Brick couldn't talk, she couldn't really do anything except move and make loving facial expressions at Jason. It was like she was a human sized clay figure. Who could move. It was kinda creepy when you thought about it.

"I know but what can we do over Aphrodite's enchantment?" Annabeth asked.

"Could you maybe get her to talk to us?" Grover asked.

"Alright." Piper closed her eyes and tried her best to call to her mom in her mind. Hey mom? Yeah, we really need to see you.

She paused.

Right about now would be good.

Nothing.

Then, "You wanted to see me sweetie?"

Piper opened her eyes and the rest of RHE group turned to look at her. "Mom!"

"Yes?"

"Why are there two copies of my girlfriend?" Leo blurted.

Aphrodite turned to him, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, my dear. You find your girlfriend beautiful, so you see her when you look at me."

"Right. I knew that." He stopped, "But look lady, I don't mean to be rude but my best friend is literally in love with a brick. I'd really like it if you stopped him from being in love with it."

"But didn't he tell you?"

"Tell us what?" Percy asked. Curious. Confused.

"He was the one who asked me to make her humanoid. I didn't make him fall in love with it. He was in such bad shape after my daughter broke his heart that he decided to let his feelings flow over the first thing he saw. That being a brick. I heard him whisper he wished she looked human and I felt bad and it amused me, that I decided to help him."

"So you're telling us, he's just trying to get over Piper. With a brick." Calypso stated.

"Oh it's just a faze, honey! Let it play out and then he'll dump her like the brick she is!" Aphrodite giggled and poofed in a pink smoke.

The gang turned once more to look at them. Jason was now feeding Brick spaghetti.

They all desperately hoped it'd play out quickly before he really did marry her.
