After Silena had promised to try to get the Ares cabin to join the war, she hesitated outside of the balcony. She knew that Percy would discuss something very important with the dying Annabeth, so she waited, peeking out of the door window.

Sure enough, she saw Percy point out the one thing Kronos needed. His only link to life. Silena raised her scythe bracelet and was about to whisper to the Titan himself, when her Aphrodite side took over.

She lowered her wrist and turned around, dashing out of the hotel room and thinking of the fastest way to get to Camp Half Blood.

The thing was, she wouldn't be able to live knowing she'd broken the start of a beautiful relationship.
