Annabeth's pov:

I woke up to the sound of banging and laughing and screaming. Annoyed, I trudged over to the girls with my duvet still wrapped around my body.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked them, then coughed due to my voice and just waking up.

"We're making pancakes." Thalia told me.

I raised my eyebrow. "At this time?"

Hazel laughed. "Annabeth we have school today, you know that right?"

I cursed under my breath. School. I had forgotten that was a thing. "Yeah, just wanted to sleep a bit."

Piper nodded, still smiling. "Yeah sure, I believe ya."

"You definitely didn't forget about it." Rachel piped up, trying not to laugh.

I rushed out of the room. "Save me some!" I called out. Going into Piper's room, I sighed. Everything used to be so bad, but then it turned good, but then it turned back to bad. I could practically hear Mufasa from The Lion King whispering  'it's the circle of life." I chuckled to myself. Yeah, me and the girls have got to stop having Disney marathons.

I quickly changed into my outfit, loosely tying my hair into a ponytail. As you could tell, I didn't care about my appearance. I jogged back into the kitchen, ready to eat the pancakes.

Instead, I was met with a gloopy mess on the ceiling and on the floor, with three angry girls crossing their arms.

"Where's the food?" I asked, a hand over my mouth to stop from smiling.

Piper scowled. "Thalia here decided to-"

"It wouldn't have happened if Rachel didn't-"

"No no no, it was Piper and Thalia."

I turned towards Hazel, nodding towards them as if saying how do we keep up with them? Hazel shrugged, clearly not fazed by this. They continued to shout, until I decided to stop this mess.

"We literally have 10 minutes to go before school starts. I don't care about pancakes, let's just leave." My stomach was clearly annoyed by this. You don't care about pancakes, you monster!

I walked over to Piper's car, holding her key. "C'mon, I don't want to be late."

Piper, Rachel and Thalia both shrugged it off and walked to the car, Hazel right behind them. "This is not over," Thalia said.

I turned back towards her. "I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that." Thalia stuck her tongue at me, and I raised my eyebrow at her. Immature, huh?

"Remind me why we're still here?" Percy whispered to me in English.

I shushed him. "Percy, we need to learn, that's a good enough reason."

Percy sighed, "excuses, escuses."

I shrugged him off. "Look, everyone else is learning."

Percy leaned back on his chair. "No, they're not, they're trying not to fall asleep," he pointed at the back. "Look at Leo, he's already dozed off!"

I glared at him. "You can sleep, but I'm actually going to listen, I want to pass."

Percy smiled at me. "Just what I wanted to hear." He leaned back onto his table and fell asleep, not even bothering to see if the teacher would catch him out.

I carried on frantically writing notes for about 10 minutes before something soft hit me on the back of head. I turned around, hoping to catch that person. There was no one sitting behind me, just a note that was on the floor. I picked it up confused, though no one else saw it.

We need to talk Chase,

                                   Drew.

I rolled my eyes, what the heck did that girl want to do with me? I clearly remembered her stating that if I didn't stay away she would tell everyone.

I glanced around the room to see Drew watching me, her eyes narrowed. I turned my head to the side in question, and she mouthed, Follow me.

I gave her a confused look, and she rolled her eyes. Just listen, she mouthed.

"Sir, Annabeth's feeling kind of sick, should I escort her to the toilet?" Drew asked sweetly, a fake smile plastered on her usual scowling face.

Mr. Blofis looked back at me, then turned towards Drew. "She looks fine to me."

I coughed really loudly. "My throat really hurts and my stomach, I think I'm going to throw up."

Mr. Blofis looked back at me unconvinced. He sighed. "Fine, but don't take too long Drew."

Drew nodded and she went out of the classroom, me following her. My friends all gave me weird looks. I decided to ignore them.

"What do you want, Drew?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"I need a favour," she tapped the bottom of her heels on the floor impatiently. "Now."

I rolled my eyes. "Why would I do that?"

She gave me a smug look. "You know why, Annabeth."

My face instantly paled. I sighed, "fine."

Drew smiled. "I need you to break up Piper and Jason."

"What?"

"Break up Piper and Jason."

"No!" I replied, absolutely mortified.

Drew's smile vanished from her face. "You don't want me to tell Leo, do you?"

I shook my head like a dog waiting to get his treats. "No no, of course not."

"Then do it."

I thought for a couple of minutes. Piper and Jason were going strong for so long, if I broke them up just because of Drew's desires, I would feel so guilty I would probably not even bother to hang out with them.

I'd rather die than betray Piper and Jason like that.

"Do it," I told her, dead in the eye.

"Do what?" She asked, crossing her arms.

"Tell Leo, I'm not breaking up Jason and Piper just because you like him."

Drew's smile wavered a bit. "I'll tell Leo, and all your friends will be gone," she started to walk away. "All because you didn't want to do one simple favour."

I watched her walk away, then felt tears weighing on my eyes. Quickly wiping them off, I headed back into class without a single word.

"Annabeth, you okay now?" Mr. Blofis asked, noticing my baggy eyes.

"Yeah, I'm okay."

I sat back down next to Percy, and he looked back at me confused.

"Where did you go?"

I shook my head, "doesn't matter. Now do whatever you were doing and let me take my notes."

Percy shrugged. "G'night."

I pretended to laugh, though on the inside I was crying my eyes out.

She was going to tell everyone, I'll go to prison, wouldn't see my family- not that they'd want to see me, and Percy and everyone would probably hate my guts and I'll be back to being the hated person.

My life is bloody ruined.
