"Sarah, stop that!" a woman screamed from the next aisle over.
Nico hated these types of people; the ones who abused their kids for no reason, or who had kids just to get welfare. It was sick in his eyes; he fully comprehended that there were woman in the world that would make understanding, caring, and nurturing mothers who couldn't have babies because they had medical issues or wouldn't be able to get through birth.
"Stop what, mommy?" a timid voice asked, and Nico could feel rage bubbling up in his veins.
Will saw him clench his fists; he knew how much Nico hated uncaring, idiotic mothers who knew damn well how to put up kids for adoption, or could hand them off to a relative or a friend that would be more than willing to take care of them, and he agreed.
"You know what you're doing! Do you want me to get out the rod when we get home?!" an evil voice hissed, venom dripping from each and every word.
"N-no!" A small voice yelped.
Nico had enough. He Jumped onto one of the shelves, knocking over some cereal, and jumped over to the aisle the monster and her daughter were. "Don't you _dare_ hurt her." he growled.
He got between the child and the shocked woman, and he turned around to greet the little girl.
He gasped; the child had a bruised eye, obviously from some sort of torture, along with cuts and more bruising on her arms and legs.
Will ran into the aisle, looking at the kid first, then at his beautiful Italian angel's face, which was a mixture of sorrow and anger, tears welling up in his midnight eyes.
The little girl looked up at him. "I'm glad we've finally met again, Neeks." She whispered.
"B-Bianca . . ." Nico whispered, tears sliding down his cheeks.
If only fate had not been so cruel to the young child. Maybe she would have lived long enough for her to re-live her life fully before being snatched away from her younger brother once more.
