"No!" Leo shouted, humorously faux angry. "No, no way! I refuse to believe it."

"Well, you should... because it is true." Nico told him, his voice firm, serious, and smooth.

His cool and collected demeanor irritated Leo to no end. (Which meant that his tactic was successful.)

"Jason!" Leo turned towards where Jason and Percy were sat, cuddled close together with Percy's body spread out across Jason. He had one leg over both of Jason's, his head on the other's boy's chest and his arm wrapped around him.

And they both looked rather content in that position, cutely enough.

"What?" Jason asked quietly, tiredly. He had a hand rested on Percy's head, his fingers gently carding through the unruly hair.

"Tell me it's not true! Please!"

Jason blinked - about five blinks - in rapid succession, his head shaking from side to side minutely. He really looked the epitome of confusion, every little bit of him.

"Tell me she isn't really coming here, Jason! Please tell me I don't actually have to spend my Christmas with that witch." Leo begged, turning on Jason with sad, hopeful puppy eyes.

"What's he on about, Jay?" Percy muttered against Jason chest sleepily, his voice inquisitive.

"Apparently Hera is coming to dinner this year!"

"Wait, what?" Percy shot up, leaning away from Jason as he stared into his eyes intensely.

"Oh, yeah, she is. Did you not now that?"

Percy (as well as Leo) shook his head emphatically. "No! No, I did not know that, Jason. When were you planning on telling me? When she rocks up at our front door?"

Jason flashed a glare at Nico, irritated.

"Look, I'm sorry. But I promised my dad that we'd have dinner with him, and you know that they're kind of a package deal," Jason concentrated on ignoring Leo and the little "Yeah, because Hera doesn't trust him," that he let out bitterly.

"We went to my mom's last year, anyway, on Christmas Eve. I think it's only fair I see my dad this year."

"Can we at least change the days then?" Leo whined questioningly. "Can we visit someone else's family Christmas day and move yours to boxing day or something?"

"No!" Jason said, his voice stern and his eyebrows furrowed.

Both Leo and Percy huffed, though Nico only smirked, evil and amused, at their pain.

"We're going to have so much fun, this year. I can feel it."
