"Do you ever shut up?" The black-clad figure asked, though his question was definitely far more rhetorical than it was non-rhetoric.

"Errrmmm, no."

The dark figure scowled, glaring frustratedly over at the young, exciteable demon of an angel that stood on the other side of the room.

"Can you at least leave, then?" This time, it was a demand staged as a question, convincingly enough.

"I don't think so." The angel giggled.

"Oh, give it a rest, Nico. So what if the boy is a little too chipper for your liking? It's not like you're going to marry him!"

Nico, the grumpy young man from earlier, grumbled and frowned as he walked away from his 'oh so wise' sister.

"You think you're so great, don't you, Percy? Just because you were born an angel."

Percy, said angel, turned to the Grouch with a confused expression, his eyebrows furrowed in bewilderment.

"When did I ever say that?" He wondered, his head tilted to one side minutely.

The Grouch didn't bother providing him with an answer, instead he left the large hall with little less than an angry stomp.

"Such a sourpuss." The angel commented, his voice faux amused (in order to hide his true feelings - hurt, wistful, and earnest).

"The big man ordered us on a mission... together?" The young Grouch had every right to be sceptical, though Percy thought this level of it was far too much - why couldn't Nico just believe him? That way, the two could just get on with their lives and hopefully finally shuffle their way towards a somewhat-relationship. (Which, after all these years, would be a big achievement.) 

"Uh-huh."

Nico, feeling suspicious of the angelic beings motive, turned and walked away.

"You did what?"

"I left. I don't understand why angels can never just admit their feelings. He should have just asked me on a date, the-"

Nico paused, insulted, as he caught the roll of his sister's eyes.

"You're so stupid, sometimes, Nico."
