A/N this is a thing I made for science class, so yeah. Also, I'm really sorry for not updating in FOREVER. Yeah. I'm sorry. Also, this is an AU, as they aren't in high school in the books, but they are here. So, let's get on with the story!

     One day in Mr. Chiron's science class, there was going to be a big lab the class had been preparing for, for weeks. Annabeth sat down at her table with Percy, tied back her long hair into a ponytail, and Percy and her cleaned off the table. Eventually, the entire class came in and cleaned off their tables so they were ready as well. Mr. Chiron began explaining the lab, but had to repeat some instructions, as Leo and Calypso were having a side conversation during the instructions. After what seemed like forever to the impatient students, Mr. Chiron finally told them to begin the lab. Jason and Piper, however, found a small hole in their balloon and reported it immediately to Mr. Chiron so he could get them a new balloon. The lab continued well, until Frank knocked over the bottle of water while he wasn't paying attention and it spilled all over Hazel's new sweater. Luckily, it was just water. Nico and Will were staying on task and had gotten to putting the Alka-Seltzer tablets into the water and putting the balloon over the bottle. They were making good progress. Silena and Charles, however, had only gotten to filling the bottle with water because they were too busy talking to Annabeth and Percy, who weren't in their group. Neither group had gotten far in the experiment. Thalia and Luke had just finished up the lab and were now cleaning up their equipment. Sadly, while Zoe and Bianca were cleaning their glass bottle, Bianca put too much force on the bottle and Zoe cut herself while trying to pick up the pieces of glass. Zoe got an adhesive bandage and was okay. Then, the bell rang and Rachel and Octavian washed their hands and walked out of class. Travis and Connor, however, sprinted out of class, without cleaning up or washing their hands. Mr. Chiron sighed with relief that the class was over and went back to his desk.
