Hazel!

Nico stormed in as Hazel groaned and rolled out of bed. She hit the floor of her cabin with the blanket still wrapped around her, yet she didn't move. She slowly opened her eyes and saw her older brother staring down at her. She groaned again.

"What?" She muttered

"What do you mean what?" Nico raised an eyebrow

"Nico, I just woke up," Hazel put her arms up signaling for her older brother to help her up" I'm too tired to find the definition of the word what"

He helped her up and she saw him roll his eyes but saw a smile starting to creep on his face

"So why'd you barge in while I was peacefully sleeping?" Hazel asked as she put the blanket, that was once on the floor, back on the bed.

"You are basically the only one who is still asleep," he gestured outside of the cabin "everyone else is eating breakfast in the dining pavilion"

"Ok," she said turning away from her brother and walking to the dresser to get some clothes. "I'll be right out"

She went inside to take a shower and get dressed. She put on a regular purple shirt and some jean shorts. She headed outside and jogged to the dining pavilion where she was greeted by a bunch of greek demigods stuffing their faces with breakfast.

She passed the Hephaestus table and saw Leo's mouth stuffed with pancakes. Right next to him was an annoyed Calypso neatly slicing her omelet. He looked up and gave her a goofy grin.

"Good Morning, Hazel" she guessed that's what he said. What she heard sounded more like "Hmph earning, lay them"

She gave him a sideways smile "Hi Leo"

"I'm sorry Hazel" Calypso rolled her eyes at her messy boyfriend "Leo, please don't talk with food in your mouth"

Leo somehow managed to gulp everything down. "What do you mean mamacita?"

She narrowed her eyes at him "Don't call me that Leonidas"

"Love you too babe"

Hazel could see a smile creeping on Calypso's face as she rolled her eyes again and playfully slapped her boyfriend's arm. She smiled at the couple in front of them and walked away. She headed for the Hades table where Nico was sitting. She sat down and looked at her brother spreading jelly on his toast.

He looked up at her "You're not gonna eat?" He asked

She shook her head and shrugged her shoudlers "Not hungry"

He bit into his breakfast and crumbs started falling onto his plate. "Suit yourself" Nico stated

She looked around at the pavilion and spotted Frank at the Ares table talking to one of his half siblings, a girl Hazel believes is named Clarisse.

Their eyes met and he grinned at her. She blushed and returned it. Even with two and a half years of dating, he could still make her face warm up and turn red.

                                     ~ Later ~

Hazel laid on her bed reading a book in latin. But she wasn't paying attention to the words. She was focused on her growling stomach. She scowled when her stomach growled again. Loud

'I should've ate breakfast today' she mumbled to herself.

She got up and went to the dining pavilion. She expected to be alone but there sitting at the Ares table was her boyfriend, Frank Zhang. His back was turned to her and he was looking down at something in his hands. So she decided to sneak up on him. She quietly took a few steps towards him. When she got there, she put her arms around his shoulders and rested her chin on the top of his head.

She looked down at what was in his hands. A black velvet box.

'Weird' Hazel thought

Frank turned around and met Hazel's eyes. She scrunched her eyebrows together.

"What's that" she pointed a finger at it.

His face turned red "Uh, n-nothing"

She frowned and was about to say something but he cut her off

"What are you doing here?" he asked in a genuinely confused tone

"Oh, I just got hungry" Hazel answered back with a little smile on her face

"Wasn't breakfast like an hour ago?" Frank asked with his eyebrows raised

Hazel nodded while she sat down next to him. "Yeah, but lunch will come soon so I guess I'll just have a glass of water"

Frank nodded "I'll go get it"

He got up and Hazel eyed the black box.

Hazel don't do it! What if it's something personal?

But you're his girlfriend, you should at least take a peek

"Something wrong?" She looked at Frank holding a glass of water in his hands and a worried expression on his face. "You look like you're having a facial seizure"

"No," Hazel giggled, not telling him that she was arguing with herself a few seconds ago. "nothing's wrong"

He nodded and sat down. She took a few sips of water. But she could still feel her stomach growl a bit.

She put her hand on Frank's arm "Actually can you get me some fruit?"

He grinned "Of course" He got up and went to get it.

Ok, now's my chance

She quickly grabbed the box and quietly opened it. In there was a ring. The most gorgeous ring Hazel's ever seen. It had a silver band containing diamonds on it and a square cut piece containing round diamonds. Her breath hitched

It was perfect

"Hazel!" She quickly closed the box and turned to where the voice came from. It was Frank holding an apple, standing only a few feet away from her.

"Is this fine?" He asked. She nodded and smiled.

Hazel was expecting him to walk up to her and hand it to to her. But instead, he threw it and Hazel caught it.

Her eyes widened as he started walking towards her. Her hands still clenching the apple.

"Frank, you know that in Ancient Greece, when you throw an apple at a girl, it means you're proposing right?" She could feel her face burning up

But all he did was smirk and grab the black box containing the ring "So is that a yes?"

All she did was crash her lips onto his and wrapped her arms around his neck. She pulled away and whispered "Yes"

He smiled and asked "So..you still hungry?"
