So I saw this storyline somewhere and I wanted to write a chapter on it. It was a lot of thinking for the puns, so hope you guys enjoy!

Calypso let out sigh as she was about to start her shift at Ogygia's garden.

Then her phone pinged.

Leo: What time is your break? Let's eat together.

She tried to ignore the text, but she received another.  Calypso glances at her phone again.

Leo: I know you read that Cal. Just letting you know my heart beets for you ;)

She let out an annoyed huff at the pun and texted back.

'Sorry, can't take any breaks today. I'm busy setting up the new greenhouse'

Leo: Ok, hope you make thyme for me later

Calypso groans and glares down at her phone. Her coworker, Miranda, starts chuckling lowly at me.

"Don't tell me," she tapped her chin, pretending to think "Leo's texting you garden and plant puns again?"

Calypso gave her a nod and opened her employee locker. "I'm getting them daily now, he seriously can't take a hint"

"Poor guy" Miranda put her badge around her neck. "How many times has he asked you out? Like 20?"

"I'd say more like 20 thousand." She scoffed

"You're lucky that he likes you so much," Miranda smiled "I mean, he walks you to your car, sends you cute memes and puns, and talks to you everyday"

She nudges Calypso with her elbow "Not to mention, you guys would make a good couple"

She snorts at the comment. "I mean, don't you think he's hot?"

"Leo might be cute, but it's ruined by his annoying personality" Calypso reached into her locker to grab her employee badge. But it's not there.

"Oh no."

Miranda looks over at her. "What happened?"

She double checks her locker. Then turns around and looks at and under the bench. "I can't find my badge. I could have sworn I put it in my locker"

Miranda winces "I'll help you look"

15 minutes go by and not only did Calypso's badge not show up, her and Miranda were late for their shift. "You go ahead, I'll find it"

"You sure?" Miranda asks

"Yeah, see you later"

She walks off, and Calypso starts to worry. Her boss was always a little uptight. Not to mention, this wasn't the first time Calypso lost her badge. If she lost it again and her boss find out, it might cost her her job. All of a sudden, Calypso's phone buzzed again.

Leo: Lunch tomorrow?

Annoyed, her nostrils flared. But she still answered back.

Calypso: I don't know, ok? I lost my badge, if I don't find it, I might not even be here tomorrow

Leo: Oh, crap. I'm sorry, is there anything I could do to help?

She doesn't even respond, she needed to keep her focus on her badge. For the next 20 minutes, she searches nearly everywhere, the gift shop, the gardening tool section, but she feels that her badge is truly missing. She's near tears when her phone rings again. 

Leo: 'Try the lost and found. Maybe someone put it there'

She headed there, but when she did, nothing was in the box.

Leo: 'Maybe your car?'

Another good idea, she raced to open her car door in the parking lot and still found nothing. Calypso's anxiety doubles, especially now that her boss just showed up and the store opened. It's only a matter of time before she checks in with her. She takes a shaky breath and is about to look through the trash cans until she hears a voice behind her.

"Calypso hey!"

She turns around and sees Leo. Suddenly her anxiety turns into anger. "What do you want?!"

His smile faded at the tone of my voice. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bother you"

"Really?!" Calypso laughed sarcastically and shook her head "Because all you ever do is bother me! All day, every day!"

"Caly I-"

"Stop calling me that!" She threw her hands up in the air "God, get a clue Leo! I don't wanna go out with you!"

His face falls and his previous smile turned into a dejected expression. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out her badge.

"I came here early to help you look," Leo says in a sorrowful tone "and I found it in the flower aisles"

"Oh"

Calypso realized that she took it off when she was moving in the new roses inside the store. She checked there earlier, but she was rushing. Leo gives me the badge and she slowly, and awkwardly, takes it away from him. Guilt quickly smothered her senses.

"Leo, I-" she started but was cut off by her boss

"What's going on here?" Calypso turned to face toward her.

"Calypso, you were supposed to be at the greenhouse an hour ago" She told her while adjusting her glasses

"Sorry, I had to check with Miranda about something" she quickly made up "I'll be right there"

Her boss smiled and nodded "Alright"

She eyed her badge and turned away. Calypso turned back to Leo, anxious to apologize. But he was gone.

"He's here" Miranda announced to Calypso "I told him that you wanted to see him"

"Great" She smiled at her "Thank you so much for doing this"

Miranda gave her a look that said good luck. And she exited the greenhouse to head for the store entrance. Just like she said, Leo was waiting sitting on a bench. Calypso walked up to him and cleared her throat. "Hi"

He stood up at her voice "Hi"

Calypso took a deep breath "Leo, what happened earlier, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kale your jokes. Chive never met someone as determined as you. Believe me when I say, I do want to spend thyme with you. I'm gonna take a leaf of fate and say I know we're mint to be." She smiled up at him. "What do you say?"

He had an unreadable expression on his face and she started to slowly panic. "Look, I get it if you don't forgive me-"

Leo's laugh interrupted and he steps towards her. "That was good"

Smiling back at him, she felt relieved. "You liked it?"

"I loved it"

"And that apology wasn't just for yesterday.." She bit her lip

"I get it" He cupped her face and kissed her forehead. Then his eyes widened, silently panicking. "You don't mind if I do that? Right?"

Calypso gripped his forearm gently. "Nope"

And leaned in for a kiss.
