Side note!! This chapter is rather lengthy, so get comfy!

Catboy ran up to the portal and fell to his knees. His one way out was gone. His only chance of rescuing his friends was gone. And just as quickly as Night Ninja ran out of the portal, all of Catboy's hope was gone...

Catboy: No... *sniffles* I never should have-

 Just then, a red figure flew above the cat hero. Catboy looked up as none other than An Yu flew down to him on her staff.

Catboy: An Yu! Cat's whiskers am I glad to see you!

 An Yu: Catboy? Teeny? *picks up staff* 

Spat Monster: *gibberish*

An Yu: "Where have I been?" Night Ninja splatted me inside my pagoda. It took me quite some time to free myself. Now, *looks around*  what happened here?

Splat Monster: *laughs nervously*

Catboy: Night Ninja destroyed the portal! And the other villains have my friends in the city! And...*sighs* and I can't save them... 

An Yu: Is that so? I happen to recall a certain villainous inventor enter the mountain using another portal.

Catboy: Hm? *realizes* The sky portal! I forgot about that! I can open the sky portal and- *looks down* and...

An Yu(confused): Why do you hesitate?

Catboy(worried): I couldn't even stop one villain by myself, let alone four villains and their teams! What if I loose again? What if... I can't save my friends?

An Yu and the Splat Monster look at each other concerned.

An Yu(calmly): And, what if you do save them? What if you do stop the villains? Who are you to know the future?

Catboy: But I can't do this alone! When I'm with my friends, we can take on anything, but when I'm without them, I... can't...

An Yu: Were you not just succeeding against Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos a few moments ago?

Catboy: How did you know-?

An Yu: I could sense your and Night Ninja's presence on the mountain, as well as his struggle against you.

Catboy: I guess I was doing good, but that was only one villain and ended up losing and getting trapped here! Even if I get back to the city I won't last a minute against all those other villains! I need to-

An Yu: What you need is to stop believing in your friends.

Catboy(shocked): What?

Splat Monster: Hmm?! 

An Yu: Your faith in your team is very strong, and that makes you strong as well, but when that faith leads to the doubting of your own strengths, it becomes your weakness. So stop only believe in your friends, *puts hand on Catboy* and start believing in yourself.

Catboy was taken back by An Yu's advice. He had never thought of it that way before. Was he really being that dependent on his friends? And even so, did he even stand a chance against Romeo, Luna, Night Ninja, and Griffon?

An Yu: Staying here any longer will only weaken your chances of saving them. So, is it "time to be a hero?"

Catboy: . . . . . *takes a deep breath*

Meanwhile on the Sky Factory, the villains were bragging about their "master plan" to Owlette, who was currently being held up by the cape by Robot. This would have been the perfect opportunity to escape, but after being worn down by zaps from the Fly Bots, Owlette knew it would be stupid to think she could take on all the villains right now. Wait. That's all she could do now, "wait for an opening." she thought.

Romeo(to Owlette): ...and once we steal all your PJ Powers, I'll-

Night Ninja:*shoves Romeo away* I'll use them to take over Mystery Mountain, and become the greatest ninja ever!!

Luna Girl: You mean we'll used them!

Mothzuki: Yeah! We use PJ Powers!

Owlette(unamused): Lemme guess, "to take over the moon?"

Romeo: Ha! that's nothing compared to what I have planned! I'm going to-

Griffon(annoyed): No one cares about you failing to take over the world.

Romeo: Hmp.

Griffon(smirking): Now,*turns to Owlette* you're probably wondering about your friends aren't you? Why they haven't radioed you, or come to your aid, quite unusual.*snickers*

Owlette narrowed her eyes at Griffon. She knew that he was trying to mess with her, but Owlette knew her friends too well to believe they'd forget her.

Owlette: My friends didn't forget about me. They only reason they're not here is because you trapped them somewhere else!

Griffon: Hmm, aren't you a hard one to fool.

Griffon taps the bottom of his wand onto the ground, causing a glowing circle to appear above the ground and Batarina to fall out and slam face-down on the Flying Factory.

Batarina:*lifts head up* I've been falling. . . ! For thirty minutes!!

Romeo quickly orders Fly Bots to surround Batarina before she could get up. During this Griffon turns to Luna.

Griffon: Now, where is the PJ Masks you two were supposed to capture?

Luna Girl: What? You never told us we had to get him! You just said "defeat him!"

Griffon: So that I- er, we can steal their powers. How could you think that wouldn't involve him being here?!

Night Ninja: *whistles while backing up*

Meanwhile at the Museum, Gekko did manage to safely set down the stone pillars, and had been sitting still since trying to regaining his strength.

Gekko(sitting): *presses com* Catboy? Owlette? Anyone come in! *sighs* No luck. . . I hope their okay.

Suddenly, a glowing spark circled around Gekko. Once the small magical spark had completed it's circle, and portal formed beneath him and Gekko instantly falls in. The portal reappears at the Fly Factory and Gekko fell out of Griffon's portal and crashed onto the floor of the factory.

Owlette and Batarina: Gekko!?

Gekko: *groans* That's gonna leave a mark... 

The lizard hero looks around him, growing more surprised and nervous as he turned. His friends captured, villains every place he glanced, it didn't take much for Gekko to realized what was going on.

Griffon: *puts wand away* Why must I do everything myself?

Romeo: *snickers* Probably because you're such a control freak!

Griffon shoots a glare at Romeo, while Luna took the opportunity to hurl an insult back.

Luna Girl(sarcastic): Suuurre! Griffon's the control freak, Mr. "I'm going to control the world!"

Mothzuki: *laughs*

Nijalinos: *laugh*

Romeo: Hey! At least I trapped one of the PJ Pests!

Night Ninja: Ha yeah! Everyone did except you two moon brains!

Griffon(challenging): Is that so? Where's Catboy then, Night Ninja?

Night Ninja(nervous): Uhhhmmm. . . . *laughs nervously* funny story actually...

As Night Ninja began his confession, Owlette decided it was time to take matters into her own wings.

Owlette(whispers): They're distracted. Now's out chance to escape!

Batarina(whispers): "Escape?" We've got all the baddies in one spot! I say we take 'em all down at once!

Gekko(whispers): Are you nuts! They outnumbered us 10 to 1 and we don't know where Catboy is! 

Batarina: We can take 'em! They may outnumber us but we overpower them!

Other villains(to Night Ninja): You did WHAT?!

Romeo(mad): You left the one hero we could get super-speed from, ON Mystery Mountain?!

Griffon(mad): Then you destroyed the mountain portal to "trap him?!" Might I remember you that now we can't get him now!

Luna Girl(mad): Nice going splat-head!

Night Ninja: Hey I still trapped him right?! Besides, that's not the only way to get to Mystery Mountain!

Luna Girl: Wait, it isn't?

Romeo: *thinks for a moment* The Sky Portal! That's how we'll get that kitty-litter boy's powers!

Batarina: We'd like to see you try! *jumps up* Super Bat Screech!

As Batarina announced her power, a sonic sound wave emitted from her mouth region and knock out all the Fly Bots in a 10-ft radius. The villains all turn with a look of surprise when they see all the bots crash to the ground.

Griffon(annoyed): You have got to be joking...

Batarina landed on the ground and heard a strange clink sound from her hand. She then remembered that the glass jar was still stuck on her hand and proceeded to tug at it again. During this, more Fly Bots surround her and prepare to fire.

Owlette and Gekko look at each other in annoyance of Batarina's brashness and are left with no other choice but to fight. Owlette quickly knocks Robot's hand open with her feathers, freeing her cape, while Gekko activates his shields and blocks the Fly Bot zaps that were aimed at him. Owlette uses her wind to gust away the second wave of Fly Bots, then lands beside Batarina and Gekko.

Romeo: NO!! Stop them!!

Night Ninja: Ninjalinos! Grab your splats and-

Before Night Ninja could finish giving orders to his minions, Griffon quickly took his wand and struck it onto the floor of the Sky Factory. This caused his wand to glow deep purple and hold the the three PJs in the air. The magic also caused the PJs' symbols on their chest to glow a deep purple as well.

Gekko(panicked): W-What's happening?!

Griffon: I was going to wait until I had all four PJs, *shrugs* but now works for me too.

The three PJs gasp as Griffon takes his wand slams the bottom of it onto the floor, causing the top region of the staff to flow brighter. The PJs were then stripped of all their powers as glowing energy of their corresponding colors drained out of them and absorbed into the crystal on Griffon's wand. Griffon then dropped the three PJs to admire his new power.

Griffon: *laughs evilly*  Now this is a once in a lifetime moment, to weld the power of three totems at once! I can't even begin to imagine what I am capable of!

Luna Girl(to R and NN): So when do we get some pj power?

Romeo/Night Ninja: *shrugs*

Owlette lifts up her head groggily, Gekko and Batarina were on the verge of passing out from their powers being drained, and she was about ready to pass out too, but owl heroine gathers up her strength and stands up facing Griffon, who was slightly impressed by her willpower.

Owlette: I'm not giving up yet Griffon!!

Griffon(amused): *chuckles* Now this is funny. You think you stand a chance?

Owlette activates her powers, but instead of her suit glowing, it flickered and crackled on and off. The best Owlette could do was conjure up a few weakly feathers, but that was enough to suprised Griffon.

Griffon: Hmp. It seems I didn't drain all your powers.

Owlette tries to use her powers again, but her powers only crackle like static around her as she falls onto her knee in exhaustion.

Romeo(teasing): I guess your magic isn't that strong after all. Now, if I had used my Vacuum of Doom-

Before Romeo could finish, Griffon aggressively spins around facing Romeo and the other villains, strikes the base of his wand down, and lifts Romeo and Robot up with his magic.

Romeo: Aah!! Robot do something!

Robot: I wish I could, master.

Griffon: I have had enough of you and your useless machines! You've played your part in my plan, I no longer need you anymore.

Romeo: W-What are you doing?!

Griffon holds up his glowing wand and opens another one of his portals next to Romeo. As the young scientist struggles to break free from Griffon's magic, he and Robot are thrown into the portal, and a small sinister smile grew on Griffon's face. Griffon held the portal open as Luna Girl spoke.

Luna Girl: Well it's about time you got rid of Mr. Wack-Brain!

Night Ninja: Yeah! I was getting tired of his annoying blabbering too! Besides, our plan was too good to have him be a part of it!

Griffon: "Our plan?" You really think Romeo was the only one being used? *points wand at other villains*

Night Ninja(nervous): Woah-woah woah!! I-I thought we villains were gonna take down the pjs together!

Mothzuki: Yeah! What about PJ Powers! Mothzuki and Luna want some too!

Luna: Thought you could use us and get away with it?! *readies magnet*

The three villains tried to stand their ground, but Griffon ever-so casually waves his wand and the other villains are thrown into the portal, leaving the Ninjalinos, the moths, and the Fly Bots without their masters. The sidekicks, still in shock, are hit with some sort of mind-control spell by Griffon, making their eyes glow a deep purple.

Owlette, Gekko, Batarina: *stare at griffon eyes windened*

Batarina: Oh flap Griffon ain't playin'!

Griffon: Finally, it's time to get things done my way. Once I drain the rest of your powers I'll open the Sky Portal and steal Catboy's powers too!

Owlette: No you won't! Not on our watch!

Griffon(furious): DON'T GIVE ME ORDERS YOU FEATHERED FOOL!!

Griffion's staff flickered in his rage and and triggered his magic to grab Owlette and throw her backwards a few feet behind Gekko and Batarina.

Gekko/Batarina: Owlette!!

Griffon(to self): What the- No. I-I meant to do that... 

Griffon recomposes himself as Batarina and Gekko help Owlette up. Suddenly, Fly Bots and Ninjalinos surround the PJs as Griffon approaches them.

Meanwhile on Mystery Mountain,

An Yu: *looking at a scroll* To open the Sky Portal, you must be going extremely fast-

Catboy: I can do fast!

An Yu: . . . high up in the air.

Catboy: Ohh. . . *gets frustrated* How am I supposed to get that high up so quickly?!

An Yu: Stay calm Catboy, we will find a way for you to return to the city.

Catboy: Are you sure you and Teeney can't come?

An Yu: With the Mountain Portal destroyed, the balance of the the mountain is greatly disrupted. If not fixed soon there will be greater consequences to come.

Catboy: Right, but how do we open the Sky Portal?!

Splat Monster: *gibberish* *picks up catboy*

Catboy: W-Woah! Hang on just a sec-

The Splat Monster swings his arm back and chucks Catboy across the sky, much to Catboy and An Yu's surprise. Catboy, acting fast, quickly recites the hand motions which conjure the sky portal, causing the sky to open up as Catboy falls through the portal.

An Yu(looking up): . . . . . I was just going to fly him up there on my staff. . . 

Meanwhile,

Griffon: My newfound followers! These heroes are to remain in your sight at all time, do not let them escape!

The mind-controlled minions surround Owlette, Gekko, and Batarina. The Ninjalios pull out spat ropes and tie Owlette and Gekko back-to-back against a wall. The Ninjalinos try to do the same to Batarina, but the heroine immediately kicks them away and makes a run for it towards her friends. However, Fly Bots grab her and pin her upside-down against the same wall while Ninjalinos splat her feet to it.

Batarina: Ha, jokes on you baddies! Bats like hanging upside-down! Now all I have to do is-*tries to pull herself up to her feet* Just gotta reach my feet! Urg! Almost got it!*tries again but fails* Flap. I should have done those sit-ups in gym class.

Gekko(nervous): *tries to break free* Owlette, what do we do now?

Owlette: I-I don't know. . .*sighs sadly* Catboy was right, we never should have tried to do this by ourselves, we're stronger together.

Batarina: Doesn't mean we're not strong by ourselves. 

Gekko: Yeah, we're just not used to solo missions, and we had no idea these baddies were working together.

Owlette: But if we hadn't split up, we might still have all our powers and Catboy wouldn't be trapped on Mystery Mountain!

Gekko: *sighs sadly* Yeah, I wish he was here.

Owlette: Me too, we could really use a Catboy right about now.

As if on cue, a portal opens up facing the Sky Factory, launching Catboy out of it as he face-plants onto the floor. 

Catboy: *rubs head* Cat's whiskers. . .  

Owlette/Gekko/Batarina(awestruck): Catboy?!?!

Catboy: Guys?! Are you all okay?! What happened?! Where are all the villains?! Wh-

Batarina: So you gonna let us answer or. . .?

Catboy chuckled at Batarina's response, he had been trapped on Mystery Mountain too long and had a dozen questions to ask. This small moment of relief was interrupted as Griffon began to speak.

Griffon:*chuckles evilly* Now this is pleasant surprise, the cat hero brings me his powers himself, much easier to drain them that way.

Catboy: I don't think so Griffon! I'm gonna rescue my team and protect my city from you no matter what it takes!

Griffon: You don't have enough power to defeat me! But, I'll be waiting for you once your willing to try. . . . 

As the factory elevator doors close on Griffon, bots, ninjas, and moths quickly jump in front of Catboy.

Gekko: Catboy, Griffon drained our powers!

Batarina: And if he gets yours he's gonna be waaay too OP for this storyline!

Catboy: Not on my watch! I'll lure these sidekicks away, hopefully long enough for you guys to escape.

Owlette: "Escape?" We're not leaving you alone again! What if Griffon drains your powers?!

Catboy:*smirks* He'll have to catch me first! Come and get me you haunted henchmen!

Catboy's stripes begin to glow bright blue and electricity crackled around his feet. With a crack of his neck, Catboy sped away as all the sidekicks followed.

Batarina(jokingly): So much for those henchmen keeping us in their sight at all times!

Owlette: *tries to break free* We have go help Catboy and stop Griffon before it's too late!

*clank*

Gekko: How? We're tied up and have barely any pj power left!

*clank*

Owlette: We're the PJ Masks! As long as we wear masks on our faces we-

*clank*

Owlette: We have to keep-

*clank*

Owlette: keep-

*clank*

Owlette(frustrated): Okay what is that clanging sound?!

Owlette and Gekko turn to Batarina, who was banging her hand against the wall of the Sky Factory, in attempt to break the jar on her hand.

Gekko: Batarina, now's not really the time to be worried about that glass jar.

Batarina(banging jar against wall): More like it's the perfect time! If I break this jar the pieces will fall next to you guys and you can-

Owlette: Use the glass shards to cut the splat ropes! That might work, but we need to hurry!

*clank*

Batarina: I'm trying! *checks hands* Seriously?! That whole time and there's not even a crack on it?! Gekko what is your candy jar made out of??

Gekko: Err... shatterproof glass?

Batarina: Why on earth would you have candy jar made out of shatterproof glass?!

Gekko: Lionel used to always knock my stuff over okay?! How was I supposed to know you'd get it stuck on your hand?!

Owlette: Guys! Focus! We'll just have to find-

*clank*

Owlette: Find another-

*clank*

Owlette: Ok, please stop now Batarina. It's not gonna break.

Batarina(ignoring owlette): I will not be defeated by a candy jar!

The bat heroine's suit flickers in her frustration as Batarina summons her Bat Claws, as weak as they were currently, and tries to dig her claws into the glass container. The harder Batarina tried, the more her powers would flicker, and the more they flickered, the more purple sparks would crackle around and zap her hands.

Batarina(strained): *grunts* Come on, come on, come on!

Batarina's suit flickers and crackles more as she continues to dig her claws into the glass. However, as Owlette and Gekko watch, they begin to grow worried.

Gekko(nervous): Uh, Batarina. . .  you should stop now! We have like, the bare minimum amount of power left!

Owlette: Take it easy before you drain whatever you have left!

Batarina(strained): No! I...*grunts* know what I'm doing!

Sparks keep zapping Batarina's hands, but as they do, they also zap the glass as well. Not long after, cracks begin to form on the jar. Batarina keeps digging her claws in more and more until finally, CRACK, the glass shatters. 

Shards of glass fall next to Owlette, who quickly spots a big piece and shuffles herself and Gekko over to it. Owlette grabs the shard and begins to cut away at the rope. Splat rope may have been sticky and elastic, but was relatively easy to cut through, so the two heroes were quickly freed from the ropes.

Batarina: It worked! Also, OW! *shakes hands aggressively* I am never doing that again!

Suddenly, a beam zapped the sticky splat holding Batarina up, causing her to fall towards Gekko, who was wait underneath her and caught the heroine. Owlette drops the previously defeated Fly Bots she had used for its laser gun and ran up to her friends.

Gekko: That was awesome Batarina! *sets her down* But are you okay?

Batarina: *looks at hands* I'll be fine, *gets shocked* if I don't use my powers again. *laughs nervously*

Owlette: I know Catboy wanted us to escape, but we're stronger together! With or without powers! You guys up for one last fight?

Gekko: You bet!

Batarina: Always!

Owlette: Then let's finish this!

Lol only took me 7 MONTHS to post! Like I said, I'm going to be a lot more inactive on wattpad, but because I to put out my best work, I'm still going to re-script this fanfic, which is why all the chapters have been unpublished. I'm going to write them all, and them post them weekly(this however will take a few months) so thank you to anyone who still reads this stuff and I hope you didn't waste all your patience!
