At the Mystery Mountain portal, Catboy cracked his knuckles. He felt ready to face whatever awaited him beyond the portal. Was he being to confident? Nah, he was sure he could handle Night Ninja on his own. Besides, what's the worst that could happen?

Catboy: Ready or not, *draws infinity sign* here I come Night Ninja.

As soon as the portal opened, Catboy activated his Cat Jump, ready to leap in action. But before he could move a muscle, a sticking splat rope shot out of the portal and grabbed Catboy by the arm. The splat rope then yanked Catboy through the portal and crashed him down onto the ground at Mystery Mountain.

Catboy: *rubs head* Cat's Whiskers. . . 

Night Ninja(in front of catboy): Well if it isn't Catboy! We've been expecting you!

Catboy: *gets up quickly* Night Ninja! What are you-

Night Ninja: Up to? You're about to find out! Ninjalinos!

Ninjalinos quickly surrounded Catboy and began to take turns jumping at him with their legs extended. Catboy managed to avoid the first few kicks, but two Ninjalinos jumped at him from behind and kicked Catboy into a stone statue.

Catboy slid off the statue in a daze before he shook his head, got up and activating his powers.

Meanwhile on the Sky Factory, Owlette was spotted by Romeo and was now being chased by his army of Fly Bots.

Owlette(flying): Owl Wing Wind!

Owlette tried to gust the flying robots away, but for some reason her wind was unaffective.

Romeo watched in his control room as the Fly Bots zapped at Owlette while he spoke through a speaker to taunt her.

Romeo: HA! I upgraded my Fly Bots' jets, making them faster and stronger against your silly wing flaps! 

Owlette: Urg, I gotta tell the others about Romeo's plan! Whoa! *dodges zap*

Owlette made a sharp turn around the Sky Factory, only to find more Fly Bots awaited her. Now surrounded, the owl-themed heroine knew that it was now or never to warm her friends.

Owlette: *presses com* Catboy! Gekko! Batarina! We need to regroup! Romeo and the other villains split us up on pur- 

Before Owlette could finish, one of the Fly Bot's zaps hit her in the arm, which caused her to yelp in pain and crash onto the Sky Factory. Romeo must have upgraded the bots zappers as well, because that single zap left a burn on Owlette's arm.

Owlette(holding arm): Fluttering Feathers. . . 

The Fly Bots once again surrounded Owlette and readied their lasers. Owlette then activated her Feather Shield and braces herself.

Meanwhile at the Power Plant, Batarina jumped out of the dome of portals and landed on the ground. Only a few of the sounds waves had hit her, but all the ducking and dodging had left her exhausted.

Batarina: *sighs in relief* Glad *pants* bat's over with!

Just then, Griffon walked out of a portal next to Batarina.

Batarina: Ah flap! *jumps up*

Hoo: *ghost gibberish*

Griffon: Hmm? *looks at Batarina*

Batarina: What are you lookin' at?

Griffon: Batarina, may I ask why is there a glass jar covering your hand?

Batarina(embarrassed): Well. . . *sighs* I can't get it off.

 Boo and Hoo: *giggle*

Griffon: And to think I've been defeated by you before. Anyways, I'm finished here. Did you finish your task my ghosts?

Ghosts:*nod a bunch*

Griffon: Well done.*turns to Batarina* I'll be seeing you soon.*smiles slyly*

Batarina: What's bat suppose to mean-

Griffon pointed at Batarina's feet while smirking. Batarina looked down and saw a huge portal opened under her. Batarina's eyes widened as she fell through the portal and disappeared. . . 

At the Museum, Gekko wasn't having any better luck. Mothzuki and Luna were chucking pots, paintings, and statues at him with their moon beams.

If these items weren't priceless relics, Gekko would of just dodged them, but being a hero Gekko knew he had to catch all the objects thrown at him to make sure that the only things to be broken were what was already broken and no more. The already broken things being the glass museum roof, and the old Pteranodon model Gekko had landed on when he fell through the roof.

Gekko may of been the strongest hero, but he wasn't indestructible. Landing on a prosthetic dino caused Gekko to bruise a rib, and then having to catch everything Luna threw, it was not pleasant.

Mothzuki: Take this lizard boy! Eek! *throws statue at Gekko*

Gekko: Super Gekko Muscles! *catches statue* OW! 

Gekko set the statue down gently and quickly put his hand on his side, trying his hardest to toughen it out.

Luna: What's a matter? Getting tired? Ha ha ha!

Mothzuki: *giggles*

Gekko(holding side): *presses com* Guys, I could use some help, I hurt my rib or something and- hello? Hello?

Gekko's com fizzled with static, him crashing through the roof damaged his com. Luna and Mothzuki heard Gekko and paused suprised. The two moon villains didn't plan on hurting the lizard boy, perhaps they went too far?

Mothzuki: Mothzuki. . . . hurt? Eek! Mothzuki don't wanna hurt, Mothzuki just wanna beat PJs.

Luna(guiltily): Er- Well, it looks like we beat him, c'mon let's go.

Just then, due to the roof collapsing, on of the pillars started to fall over, right over Luna and Mothzuki. Gekko saw the pillar begin to fall and ran as fast as his bruised rib allowed him to towards the two villains.

Gekko: Luna! Mothzuki! Get out of the way! *activates muscles*

Mothzuki quickly teleported she and Luna away after both of them saw the pillar. But just before the pillar fell, Gekko caught the pillar and held it up.

Gekko(grunting): Ow-ow-ow-ow!

The pillar was too heavy for Gekko to move, leaving him stuck.

Meanwhile on Mystery Mountain,

Catboy was on a roll! He had already caught most of the Ninjalinos with his Cat Stripes. Just a few more then it'll just be him and Night Ninja. After he wrapped up a few more ninjas, Catboy landed on a tree branch, hidden from view so he could check on his teammates.

Catboy: *presses com* Owlette, Gekko, Batarina, come in. I'm almost done here, how are you guys holding up? Over.

Catboy waited for a response, but as silence haunted him, Catboy began to grow worried.

Catboy: Owlette? Owlette come in! Gekko? Batarina? Anyone?

Just then, quite conveniently, Night Ninja ran up to the tree Catboy was hidding in, unaware of Catboy's presence. He was then met there by the few Ninjalinos that weren't tided up.

Night Ninja: Well?!

Ninjalinos: *shrug and shake heads*

Night Ninja: Seriously?! Not one of you found a single TRACE of that pesky pj?!

Ninjalinos: *laugh nervously*

Just then, a portal appeared behind the ninjas, which startled then all as Griffon walked out of it.

Griffon: Let me guess, you didn't catch Catboy did you?

Ninjalinos: *nod a bunch*

Night Ninja: Hmp! *crosses arms* I'd like to see you do better!

Griffon(bluntly): I did. So did Luna and Romeo. The other three PJ Masks have been defeated.

Catboy froze in the tree. He was scared of what Griffon had meant by his friends being "defeated." Were they trapped? Hurt? Worse?!

Griffon: But we need all four heroes defeated for the plan to succeed.

Night Ninja: Yeah-yeah I'll get kitty boy!

Griffon: *opens portal* See that you do. Meet us at the Flying Factory when you've caught Catboy. *walks through portal*

Ninjalino: *gibberish question*

Night Ninja: I've got a better idea Ninjalinos! Instead of catching Catboy, how about we trap him here! On Mystery Mountain! C'mon! *jumps away*

Ninjalinos: *follow*

Catboy's worries thoughts were interrupted by Night Ninja's plan. There was no way Catboy was going let himself be trapped here. Catboy jumped through the trees to the mountain portal, being as silent as possible. When he arrived at the portal, the last of the Ninjalinos were just leaving Mystery Mountain. Catboy went to chase after them, but was met by a kick in the face by Night Ninja.

Catboy: *hits ground* Urgh...

Night Ninja: Sorry kitty-litter face! Your nights of heroic deeds end now! MuahahaHA!

Teeny Weeny: *walks up to NN* 

Catboy(in a daze): *tries to get up*

Night Ninja: Teeny! Just the ninja I was looking for! I promise I'll come back to get you!

Catboy: What...

Teeny Weeny: Huh?

Night Ninja tickles Teeny's nose with a twig, causing it to itch. Right before Teeny sneezed, Night Ninja quickly throws Teeny above the portal and runs out of it. So when Teeny sneezed, the now enormous Splat Monster landed on the Mystery Mountain portal and crushed it it pieces...

Catboy(eyes widened): *gasps* NO!

Catboy ran up to the portal and fell to his knees. His one way out was gone. His only chance of rescuing his friends was gone. And just as quickly as Night Ninja ran out of the portal, all of Catboy's hope was gone...
