[Every single one of these little Shipping Chapters has a Theme to them. Some are pretty obvious and others are kinda hidden, but they're there, you bois and gals just gotta figure it out]

Inside of a Dark looking magic laboratory, a man was seen standing in front of a giant on an odd ancient looking stone statue with odd symbols written all over it. The man held his Grimoire in front of himself, which had an odd circuit board design on the covers. Floating over his floating Grimoire and in front of the man's face was a holographic screen holding what looked to be blueprints and odd magic spells mixing machines and magic together. In the corners of that holographic screen and on the center of the cover, were symbols of Diamonds. The man was tall with short lazily cut black hair, he wore a lab coat with a bright blue circuit board design all over it. A large horse like being with the black armor of a knight with dark ripped wings coming off of it's back then walked into the odd laboratory like room though a portal of spacial magic before sitting down next to the mysterious scientific man. The man seeing this bird caused him to smile as he turned towards it.

???: "Ah! Centurion, you've returned. So, what do you have to report about our Gathering Step?"

The slots on the off Winged Machine Horse's face plate then shined to life, as a hologram appeared out of it, projecting a mass of images to the Mysterious man. The Images all showed different Commoner Villages from the Forsaken Realm, a mass of the Villages all gathered together and having their Magic Drained by Semi Mechanical Men just like the one that Noelle and Y/n had battled before... speaking of Noelle and Y/n...

???: "Hold on, What the hell is going on in that one?"

The man asked as he pointed towards one of the screens, only to see that is was broken and corrupted static. The image then zoomed in, confusing the man even more.

???: "Rewind this image until it's comprehensible."

The man said as the image then began to rewind like it was an old video, it kept on rewinding until it suddenly topped, revealing a Mechanical Man trapped inside of a gigantic bubble of water, seeing this quickly shocked and confused the man as he looked around the image to see what this oddness meant... when he suddenly noticed it... Y/n, Noelle... and a very familiar Purple furred creature. Seeing this shocked the man, as he looked at more of the images surrounding Y/n and Noelle's adventure, before a smile appeared on his face.

???: "You really does exist in this world... someone who can generate near Endless amounts of Pure Unadulterated Magic... and that person can Harmonize with Dεx-100's Underdeveloped form..."

The final Image then settled on a picture of Y/n hugging a very happy Doru, seeing this made the man while as he turned away from the Holograms and faced the giant stone statue that sat behind him.

???: "Heheheheh! With this, I'll be able to show the superior prowess of Machines over these cheap parlor tricks the people of this world seem to adore! I'LL SHOW THIS WORLD THE MEANING OF ADVANCEMENT!"

The man Yelled as an odd Symbol was seen plastered all of his Lab.

We haven't been here in one hellova while, now have we? ANYWAY!

THE BLACK BULLS HOME BASE! From outside, it seemed like quite the normal day for our Magic Knights, but today was very different than usual... Very Much Different than usual? The day wasn't like any other day, we're starting off differently than usual! Why and how? Well...

"Alright! T-Today I'm gonna do it!"

Inside of a Base, Grey, in her true form, was seen inside of her room pacing around a bit as she spoke to herself.

Grey: "I'm not gonna put it off anymore! I said that I wa was gonna become less shy after Y/n and Asta risked their lives and lost their abilities at the Seabed Temple, and I'm gonna do it! Today's the day..."

Grey began as she stood infront of a mirror in her room, looking at the determined look on her own face.

Grey: "I'm gonna go the entire day without Transforming a Single Time! I WILL BECOME LESS SHY! TODAY IS THE DA-"

*CLANK!*

Grey: "AHHOW!"

*THUD!*

Grey quickly grew more and more excited as she pumped herself up... only to bump her head into the top of the mirror she was looking into, and falling onto her back, causing her to lie there for a moment with a giant blush of embarrassment on her face, wanting to badly to transform into something tiny to hide, but she kept her word and stayed in her normal form.

Grey: "To-Today... is the day..."

One of the many hallways inside of the Black Bull's Base... as per usual, the hallway seemed to be empty, but this wasn't exactly the case, as Grey could be seen peaking her head out from behind a corner, before zipping out and hiding behind a pillar... before she peaked around it again and dashed over to another safe hiding point. The knight looked around with a mass off caution, still filled with a mass of shyness, despite being in her true form and around the base many times after the Seabed Temple... although this time was somewhat different, as she had pledged not to transform at all today, there was an odd pressure that she could feel on her soul, ready to split it in half at any moment... although this was just her own nervousness. The girl hid behind another pillar as she slowly made her way towards the base's main living room area, not noticing the ghostly blue figure walking out from and down a different different hallway behind her.

Grey continued to slowly make her way down the halls of the base... but now she had stopped hiding behind walls and just walked with a confused look on her face.

Grey: "T-This is weird... usually I'd hear Magna yelling at Luck by now... or Y/n and Asta rushing down the hallways doing their chores, or captain Yami yelling at someone and causing and breaking things... but I haven't seen or heard anything..."

The mage said to herself as she continued down the halls, looking at places where her squad mates usually were. She checked the dinning halls, the beasts' room, the kitchen, the dusty library nobody uses, and even the bathroom, although she did that last one with a mass of hesitation. After a while, Grey just began to aimlessly wonder the base, searching for her squadmates, only to find herself in the Base's Main/Living Room all on her lonesome with a saddened look on her face. After finding her way onto a couch, Grey hugged her legs go her chest as she sat there saddened, speaking to herself once again.

Grey: "I can't believe it... the day I finally decide to become less shy and refuse to transform at all... everyone's completely disappeared... this... it's really unfair..."

"I know right... this isn't fair at all...

Grey: "Yeah... we're so unlucky..."

"......"

Grey: "....."

"....."

Grey: "..... HAAA!? W-WAIT! WHO SAID THAT!? WHO ARE YOU!? WHERE ARE YOU!? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY FRIENDS!?"

Grey suddenly jumped at this new yet familiar voice, holding her Grimoire up, ready to hit someone with it as she shakingly looked around for who or what just talked to her. The voice then chuckled a bit, before speaking up again.

"Up here Grey."

Grey then quickly looked up, only for her eyes to widen a bit... she quickly saw that the voice that had talked to her was Y/n... but he had been hogtied and was hanging down from the base's ceiling by Vanessa's magic strings.

Y/n: "Good morning."

Grey: "H-Huh? Y/n? W-What are you doing tied up there?"

Y/n: "It's kind of a long story... well not really, but the bloods really rushing to my head and I think I'm about to fall unconscious, so can you please help me down from here?"

After a while that was getting Y/n down, the Surge Magic and Transformation Magic Knights were seen sitting side by side on a couch, with Y/n slowly regaining his ability to think stright after being hung upside down for a while, but after a bit of sitting there, Y/n's signature smile reappeared as he returned to a normal state.

Grey: "S-So, why were you tied to the ceiling again?"

Y/n: "Oh that... well... Captain Yami got a mission from the Wizard King to inspect this mysterious place that might have some Midnight Sun stuff going on, but since I almost died last mission rushing at Doru like an idiot, Cap forced he to stay here... I tried to convince them to let me go anyway... but that's when Vanessa tied me to the ceiling."

Y/n said with a tiny chuckle, causing Grey to giggle a bit aswell imagining the situation, but after a second she stopped as she realized something that Y/n had said.

Grey: "Hold on, Doru? Who's Doru?"

Doru: "Doru!"

Grey: "AHH!"

Grey asked the obvious question, only to be shocked when the Tiny Furry Purple T-Rex with wings known as a Dorudon, who was recently accepted into the Magic Knight Squad after Y/n and Noelle's Mission together. The sudden appearance of the boi caused Grey to quickly jump and land behind the couch she was sitting on with Y/n, slowly peaking over the back observing Doru carefully, but Doru simply tilted his head in confusion as he stared at the shy blue gal.

Grey: "Wh-What is t-that thing!?"

Y/n: "He's not a thing! He's Doru, a Dorudon! Noelle and I found him brainwashed and causing Chaos in Kamina Village, so we saved him and now he's a member of the Squad! Right, Doru?"

Doru: "Doru!"

The monster said happily with a smile on his face, but this confused Grey a bit more.

Grey: "A Do-Dorudon? W-What's that?"

Y/n: "Their Monsters from the Forsaken Realm. They're kinda rare but super friendly too, we keep them as pets and they have cool, unstable and powerful magic that allows them change forms!... Oh! I guess you two are kinda similar, huh?"

Hearing this suprised Grey a bit as she slowly stopped hiding behind the couch and began petting Doru as he sat infront of her, happily flapping his tiger stripped ears around.

Y/n: "... Oh! Hey, I just realized something!"

Grey: "Hmm? Realized what?"

Y/n: "You're in your true form, and you're not stuttering or hiding your face around me anymore!"

This caused Grey to grow a tiny blush as turned away from Y/n a bit while continuing to pet Doru.

Grey: "Wh-What does that have to do with a-anything?"

Grey asked with a tiny bit of embarrassment... only for it to quickly skyrocket when Y/n gave the blueberry a bright, brilliant and closed eyed version of his signature smile and said.

Y/n: "Well, when you're like this I can see your super cute face in all it's pretty glory!"

Grey immediately froze up at this while Y/n's face literally sparkled as he smiled and stared at her... the two were silent for a moment as Doru just stared up at them... until...

Grey: "WWWHHHAAA!!! D-DON'T LOOK AT MMMEEE!!!

Y/n: "H-HUH!? GREY WAIT!"

*THUP!*

Grey: "WHAHH!"

Suddenly, Grey's face exploded into a gigantic Redish Pink full of embarrassment, then just as quickly she covered her face and quickly jumped off the couch trying to run away from the Surge Magic boy, only for her leg to be caught on the arm rest of the chair, causing her to hit the floor as she fell onto her face. Y/n quickly tried to help the girl back onto her feet, and see if she was ok after slamming her face directly onto the ground, but the girl just continued to hold her hands over her face as she rolled around left and right on the ground, trying her best to keep away from Y/n's helping hands, before she began rolling away from her fellow knight.

Grey: "WHAAHAA! W-WHY DO Y-YOU ALWAYS SAY EMBARRASSING THINGS LIKE THAT!?!"

Y/n: "Dad says that you should always compliment girls who are pretty and nice! A-And you're one of the prettiest and nicest girls I've ever met! So I thought I should compliment you all the time!"

Grey: "STOP IT! IT'S SUPER EMBARRASSING!"

Y/n: "IF REFUSE TO GO AGAINST DAD'S WISDOM! YOU JUST SHOULDN'T BE EMBARRASSED OF YOUR CUTENESS GREY!"

Grey: "SSSTTTOOOPPP IIITTT!!!"

Grey yelled as she continued rolling away and yelling in embarrassment while Y/n continued chasing after her while yelling compliments about how cute and pretty she is, all the while Doru continued sitting infront of the couch Grey and Y/n were sitting with a confused look on his face.

Inside of the Black Bulls Dinning hall, Y/n and Grey were seen sitting side by side once again, but this time, Grey had a large bump on her head and held an ice pack to it. Needless to say, Grey had rammed herself onto a door as she tried her best to roll away from Y/n's endless kindness, which was easily proven to be a futile task, but as the two sat together, they talked a bit, causing Grey to spill the beans about her little plan.

Y/n: "Ah, so you're staying untransformed so that you can become less shy. Ah, the brute force limit training tactic."

Grey: "B-Brute Force Limit Training?"

Y/n: "That's what my Dad calls it! It's when you weaken yourself a bunch and train super hard until you see an improvement! Then when you get rid of the thing weakening you, your base power is way stronger than before! So, it's the same kinda training I did after I got cursed by Vetto! That kind of training is affective... but it can cause more harm then good if you're not careful. If you do this kinda thing wrong, you might become more shy than before."

Y/n has no idea that Mental Training and Physical Training are two different things, although he does kinda have a point here. And Grey on the other hand...

Grey: "Wha!? Y-You mean I could get worse than I already am?! I wouldn't be able to show my face at all, even while I was transformed into somebody else!"

Is also kinda umb, not on the same level as Y/n, but still dumb. Grey was seen with swirls for eyes as she thought about the absolute worse scenario of her becoming even more shy and being kicked out of the Squad because of it... but meanwhile, Y/n was seen with his hand on his chin and his eyes closed as he hummed to himself, until a look of realization appeared on his face as he slammed his fist down into his open palm.

Y/n: "I got it! Yami said I couldn't go on the Mission, but he never said that I couldn't train!... Well, Dad said that I couldn't train, but he never said that I couldn't accidentally train while helping you Grey! With my help, you can get Brute Force Shyness Training done and be way less shy than ever!"

Hearing this quickly snapped Grey out of her little funk, as she turned towards Y/n with a happy yet slightly suprised look on her face.

Grey: "Y-You'd really help me do that? Yo-You'd help train me into being less shy?"

Y/n: "Heck yeah! And I think I've got a fool proof way of doing it too!"

The two of them said turning towards eachother happily... only for Grey to quickly turn away and cover her face once again, causing Y/n to chuckle a bit.

*CRASH!*

A clock portal from Y/n's PPM had suddenly appeared, cracking the sky around it for a few seconds as Y/n, Doru and Grey walked out of said portal. Y/n had a happy look on his face, while Doru was more curious about this new location, and Grey just looked nervous as her head jetted around, looking at everything extremely cautiously. As the portal closed behind the group, Grey and Doru were confused by their surrounding. Infront of them stood a dense mess of trees that could easily be called a Forest... but what was odd about it was that there was a single entrance into this forest that the densely packed trees didn't block, and surrounding these trees was a very thick fog ... although it seems to lighten up as you farther and farther away from said forest.

Grey: "Y-Y/n... wh-where are we? Wh-What is this creepy place?"

Doru: "D-Doru..."

Y/n kept up his smile as he turned towards the creeped out mage and dino.

Y/n: "We're on the Outskirts of my home village, Silent Mog. This is the place here is where all the Fog rolls in from. It's called, The EverStill Forest."

Doru: "Do-Doru."

Y/n: "Yeah, it is a creepy name! But it has it for a reason. A long time ago, a Lumberjack walked into these woods for some lumber, and cut down 23 trees, but as soon as he walked past those two trees at the front, he felt the weight of the trees disappear, and looking, the trees themselves were just as missing. Confused, he went back into the forest... only to see that all 23 trees that he had cut down had been placed back where they originally were, perfectly, as if they hadn't been touched at all!"

Grey: "Se-Seriously?"

Y/n: "Yup, it's super interesting, right?"

Doru: "DORU, DORU-DORU!"

Grey: "D-Doru's Right! Th-That's really scary! P-Please tell me we're just going into your Village and not that place!"

Y/n: "......"

Grey: "W-Why aren't you saying anything?"

Y/n: "I don't wanna lie."

Grey: "WHY!?"

Grey cried out as Doru put his tiny hands over his eyes, causing Y/n to chuckle a tiny bit.

Y/n: "Well, if you wanna get rid of your Shyness, then this is the best place to do it! It's the absolute best way for your Brute Force Anti-Shyness Training to work! Soooo... you ready to head into EverStill?"

Grey looked at Y/n for a second, before turning towards the foggy forest with a growing nervous expression.

Grey: "I-I Do-Don't know... t-this pl-place gives off a r-really d-dangerous feeling..."

Grey said as she felt scared to enter a place as ominous as this, even Doru, quite the brave purple Dino, shivered as he stared at the dark foggy entrance into the mass of trees... but...

Y/n: "Grey..."

Y/n suddenly walked over to the blue haired girl, and placed her right hand into his own, looking down at the shorter Black Bull with a sweet smile.

Y/n: "You're my friend, and if you got hurt because I brought you here, then I wouldn't be able to forgive myself, so right now, I promise to protect you from anything dangerous, you won't get hurt, you can trust me on that."

As Y/n said this, a blush quickly appeared on Grey's face as she turned away from Y/n to hide said face, before nodding.

Grey: "R-Ri-Right... Le-Let's go...."

Y/n's smile grew at this, as he continued to hold Grey's hand, when suddenly their grip was broken by Doru, who popped up imbetween then whinning like a puppy, which caused Y/n to chuckle again as he pet the Dino's head.

Y/n: "Don't worry Doru, I promise that I'll protect you too. Now then, LET'S HEAD INTO THE EVERSTILL FOREST!"

Y/n announced with excitement, causing Doru and Grey to nervously and hesitantly nod before all they of them slowly walked past the 2 Arc Like Entrance Trees, heading into the mysterious forest.

Entering the foggy forest, Y/n led the way as Grey and Doru followed... the Dino and the Transformation Knight couldn't instantly feel something odd about the foggy forest as they made their way through it's dark twists and turned.

The wind blew oddly, as odd figures could been seen moving around in the shadows freely, they could feel the sting of eyes watching them from the darkness, observing their every move, they could hear the clanking of wooden chimes, the rustling of the grass, and shaking of leaves in the trees. Y/n was seemingly unaffected by these odd sounds as he continued walking through the foggy forest, stopping every now and then, as the paths in the dark began to grow more open, to let his Scarf Wave in the wind as it blew periodically, following the direction in wish the wind pointed.

As the three of them continued making their way through the fog silently, they came to an odd point in their small journey. Y/n had lead the other 2 into a corridor made of extremely densely packed trees, but as they came to a mid point, the Surge Knight Suddenly stopped as he turned towards the other two and held his finger over his lips, a signal for them to stay quiet... which only confused them for a moment... as the Purple Dino and Blue Girl nodded, Y/n continued down the corridor... but as he did, they came to a point where the tree wall to the right of them opened up to a large round open area. A deep and dark moat of black water circled a gigantic stone... and sitting atop that stone was an odd figure... it held a menacing, dangerous, murderous and all-powerful aura about it as it sat there, seemingly doing nothing... the figure looked as if they were a humanoid shilouette... but one of it's arms was freakishly small and short, while the other was larger and longer, both of the arms swayed slowly in the wind as the figure sat there, with his smaller arm swaying much slower than the larger. As the group all faced the odd shilouette for a few seconds... for a moment Grey and Doru had failed to notice that it had turned to face the group... fully revealing it's odd form to them, along with the equally odd mask it wore for a face...

A shiver went down Doru and Grey's spines as an odd and overbearing pressure began to bear down on them from the figure's odd prolonging stare. The two turned towards Y/n, easily scared by the odd figure he told them to be quiet when facing... but unlike them, Y/n still had his smile and was seemingly unaffected by the figure's stare. Y/n then gave a closed eyed smile as he gave the odd shilouette a small wave. Grey and Doru then turned back towards the figure... only to see it slowly raise it's own arm and wave back towards the group, before it turned away from the group, causing the odd pressure that weighed down on Grey and Doru to quickly disappear. After this, Y/n motioned for the two to follow him again, as they continued walking down the corridor... but as they did... something odd began to happen... the fog got thicker and thicker as they continued walking through it, as this happened, Y/n grabbed Grey's hand while she held Doru's claw/paw, while continuing to make their way, although they couldn't see 1 foot infront of themselves.

Grey: "Wh-Wha-What-What was that th-thing?"

Grey asked in a whisper, an scared hitch in her voice as she stuttered.

Y/n: "That's Grandad Tempus, although, he doesn't really like me calling him Grandad. He's the reason nothing in this Forest Changes."

Doru: "Dodo?"

Y/n: "Yep, it's his magic that keeps everything the same, even if years pass. It encompasses this entire forest, and causes Time to still in this dense fog. His magic's also the reason we look like this now."

Grey: "Huh?"

Both Grey and Doru were confused by this... once again, but as they continued walking, the trio finally found themselves outside of the extremely thick fog, but still in the dark forest... although now there was some light shinning in from the treetops. Grey then looked down at herself, only to be shocked at what she saw. Doru saw that not only had her clothes had changed, but she had grown much shorter, her her hands were much smaller aswell... and in those small hands was an even smaller, yet very familiar ball of Purple, Blue and White Fluff.

Grey: "D-Doru?"

Doru: "D-Do? DODO!?"

Grey and Doru both spoke in shock as they saw eachother's new forms... but as they spoke, they were both shocked even more, as they noticed that both of their voices had grown higher pitched. The two of them then heard a familiar yet higher pitched chuckle, causing the two of them to turn... only to see that a Child Version of Y/n was standing infront of them, wearing ragged Forsaken Realm Commoner Clothing, with his Crimson Scarf wrapped around his neck and dragging along the ground behind him... although the scarf didn't get dirty at all.

Young Y/n: "Pretty cool, huh? Grandad's Magic is always pretty jarring at first."

Shocked and confused, Grey then quickly walked over to a small body of black water that was nearby, but as she looked into it, the black color of the water shifted away, allowing the Blue Haired girl and Tiny Round Dino to see their reflections, only to be amazed and shocked as they saw their child forms looking back at them. Grey wore simple yet somewhat dirty Common Realm Commoner Clothes, and her hair was much messier than her adult form, Grey was easily able to conclude that she and Y/n had become 5 Years Old... while Doru seemed more like 1 year or even a few months old.

Young Grey: "I-I'm a kid again?"

Baby Doru: "Dodo? Do Do Do!"

Doru said excitedly in his Baby Dododon form, while Grey was amazed at the power of that odd figure Y/n called Grandad... but before she could come to any conclusions...

Y.Y/n: "This way guys! C'mon The village is just a skip away!"

B.Doru: "Do! Do!"

Y.Grey: "H-Huh!? Y/n, Doru w-wait for me!!"

Y/n began running away down an open path of trees that slowly grew brighter and brighter as you went deeper and deeper in, Doru then hopped out of Grey's hands to follow the boy by bouncing on the ground over and over with surprising speed, quickly causing the girl to chase after the two of the Baby Dino and the Surge Boy. Quickly chasing after the two as Y/n laughed running deeper and deeper into the light, it got so bright that it became blinding for a moment... until...

Grey continued walking through the blinding light, her eyes adjusted as the lights dimmed a bit, allowing her to open her eyes, only for them to widen at what sat before her.

Y.Grey: "W-Woah..."

Y.Y/n: "Amazing, right?"

B.Doru: "Do... Dodo..."

Grey turned, seeing Y/n and Doru standing next to her, Doru had Stars in his eyes while Y/n was just smiling with his fists on his hips, all of them admiring the scenery infront of them.

Y.Grey: "Y-Yeah... I've never seen anything like this place..."

Y.Y/n: "Welcome to the Center of EverStill Forest, or as it's better known, EverStill Village!"

Y.Grey: "Village?"

Y.Y/n: "Yup! The villagers should be around in a 3... 2... aaannnddd..."

As Y/n said this, Grey then noticed an odd small figure peaking out from behind a tree. The figure had a body that looks like wood, and was very much shorter than her child form, and they also wore a mask that resembled a Stag Beetle's Horns.

???: "AaFa! Visitors Visitors! There are 3 visitors!"

The small figure spoke out in an odd unknown language that was still easily understood by everyone, before quickly disappearing back behind a tree, soon after another tiny wood figure wearing a Bug mask appeared, although this one looked slightly pudgier and wore a mask like a Kabuto Beetle.

???: "It's Y/nYaYa! And 2 friends! WaBa!"

The figure ducked away before another different one appeared in a different place once again.

???: "BaGa! BaGa! Y/nYaYa has Friends! Y/nYaYa has Friends!"

???: "Ka! Somebody, Wake Mama! Pa!"

Soon, one by one the small masked figures appeared from their hiding spots and began to surround the Trio chanting happily at Y/n's return, quickly causing Grey to stare down at them in awe, while Doru bounced happily at the new small figure's appearance.

Y.Grey: "W-Wow! Their all so c-cute! What are these things?"

Y.Y/n: "They're Makams! Spirits of the trees! There's one Makam for every tree in existence! They're don't show themselves to humans, but they're super nice, they even protect the people, houses, and object made from their tree's wood!"

Ladybug Makam: "Y/nYaYa's right! We are Makams! CaHa!"

Stag Makam: "AaFa! Blue Lady and Doggy Ball, Y/nYaYa's Friend! That Means Blue Lady and Doggy Ball, our friends!"

Mantis Makam: "BaGa! BaGa! What names! What Names!"

Y.Y/n: "This is Grey, and he's Doru!"

B.Doru: "Do! Do!"

Y.Grey: "I-It's nice to m-meet you all."

Makams: "GREYAYA! DOYAYA! OUR NEW FRIENDS! YAYA!"

The Makams all cheered happily as they danced around the trio, with some waving sticks and other plants into the air. Grey felt an odd happiness as the Makams got closer to her and Doru to observe her form, with one of them pinning a flower to her clothes, hearing Doru's happy cries, she turned, only to see some of the Makams holding Doru high in the air, dancing around a bit as they did, hearing more laughing, Grey turned again, only to see the Makams running around Y/n with his scarf in their hands, tying the boy up a bit, seeing this caused Grey to start giggling, before she started laughing happily, quickly catching Y/n's attention for a moment, causing him to smile happily at her laughter.

"Makam~ My Children, what's all this excitement about~?"

A very calm, reassuring and comforting voice suddenly spoke, the voice synonymous with the word, Mother. Said voice echoed all around the group and the Makams, before the ground infront of them began to twist and change a bit, slowly raising into the air and taking on an odd yet brand new shape.

Seeing this scared Grey and Doru a bit, but for Y/n and the Makams, they were excited to see this new being.

Scarab Makam: "LaQa! Momma! It's Y/nYaYa! And he brought new friends! GreYaYa and DoYaYa!"

Hearing this caused the towering figure to look around a bit, before she spotted the young Y/n standing there with Doru and Grey by his side.

"Makam~ Y/nYaYa, you have returned! My heart beats so happily knowing that you have arrived in my forest once again~! Ah, and who might these 2 be~?"

Y.Y/n: "Hey Granmom, I'm happy to see you again too! This is one of my Squad Mates, Grey! And my new buddy Doru!"

Y.Grey: "H-Hello M-Ma'am..."

B.Doru: "DODODO!"

"It is very nice to meet the both of you~. Anyone Y/nYaYa considers a Friend of Family is a Dear Child of mine. GreYaYa, DoYaYa ~. I am one of the two rulers of this forest, Vita~, although I'd prefer if you'd call me Mother~ Makam~."

Vita said happily, causing an odd loving motherly warmth to quickly fill Grey and Doru just by talking to the Masked Plant Woman.

Y.Grey: "T-Thank you very much Mother Vita."

Vita chuckled a bit before she spoke up once again.

"Makam~ Thank me not Child of HenshinYaYa, for you are also a child of mine, as is all life~ My Heart Beats with happiness just by seeing the faces of 2 more of my Children~ If you ever need anything of me, do not be afraid to call out for mother~"

Vita said happily, holding out her plant arms and the dark black arms humanoid arms hidden under her plant body out in a very welcoming fasion... all the while...

Stag Makam: "AaFa! Mama so nice!"

Kabuto Makam: "Everyone Welcome GreYaYa and DoYaYa! WaBa!"

Makams: "WELCOME! YAYA!"

This warm atmosphere, all these cute creatures, the loving nature of Vita... needless to say... with the past Grey had... this was all very overwhelming for her... and being in her child self's body... it was almost impossible to hold it back.

*Sniff Sniff!*

The Makams eyes all widened in shock, even Vita was taken aback as tears started to well up in Grey's eyes. Y/n and Doru were the first ones to act as the rushed over to Grey's side.

Y.Y/n: "Grey! A-Are you alright? I-I'm sorry! This must all be super overwhelming for you! I-I should have taken things slowe-"

Y.Grey: "N-No... I-It's fine... I-I'm not overwhelmed at all... N-No... that's not t-true... i-it's just..."

Grey then quickly wiped the tears out of her eyes, before she faced the tree spirits, Vita, Y/n and Doru with a giant happy smile.

Y.Grey: "I don't think I've ever felt this happy before!"

This shocked everyone for a moment, before their shock was turned into joy, with Doru quickly jumping up and landing on the girl's shoulder, nuzzling into her, and Y/n patting her on the head. Vita watched with a very happy aura around herself... when suddenly, the Makams charged at Grey and smothered the girl in a gigantic group hug, quickly forcing Y/n to hug her with them. After the moment of hugging was over, Y/n was seen standing on a large treestump pointing into the air, quickly grabbing everyone's attention.

Y.Y/n: "Alright Everyone! Grey here's going through some Brute Force Anti-Shyness Training! You know what that means?"

Y/n began, confusing Grey and Doru, while Vita chuckled a bit. Y/n then pulled a stick out from behind his back, before throwing it high into the air. The stick twirled around a bit before...

*Thud*

The stick then fell and landed in the middle of the Makam Group, but the pointed end of the stick pointed towards a Makam with a Hercules Beetle Mask.

Y.Y/n: "HERCULES BEETLE'S IT!"

Stag Makam: "AaFa! RUN RUN!"

Mantis Makam: "BaGa! BaGa! Don't Let Her Catch You! Don't Let Her Catch You!"

Hercules Makam: "HaMa Alright! 10 Seconds and I'm comming after you!"

The Makams and Doru then quickly began running/bouncing away from the Hercules Makam as she began counting to 10, Grey was easily confused by this, when suddenly Y/n appeared and grabbed her hand.

Y.Y/n: "C'mon! The first test to getting less shy-"

Y/n then began running away, dragging Grey with him as the Hercules Makam finished her counting and began chanting after the others.

Y.Y/n: "IS TO HAVE SOME FUN!"

The day then quickly began for the group. Vita say against a tree and watched happily as Y/n, Doru, Grey and the Makams happily played games together, from Tag, to duck duck goose, to hide and seek, the group had all kinds of fun playing a mass of childhood games. It even got to the point where Vita joined in on the fun playing different games with the Children and Makams, heck even the terrifying shilouette that was Tempus, who just turned out just to be a big shy guy, was convinced to join in on the fun by Y/n as the group played a team game, Tempus ended up on Grey's team with Doru and a bunch of other Makams, in the end the Silent Being of Time and the Blue Mage actually ended up getting along and working together really well. After a while, Grey took a break, sitting with Vita as Y/n and the Makams played keep away with Tempus. Grey continued to smile as she watched the others playing together, when suddenly Vita's chuckling caught her attention.

"Makam~ Hahaa~ It's been quite some time since the my Children and TempusYaYa have had this much fun~ I believe last time was when Y/nYaYa first visited our woods~"

Hearing this caused Grey to perk up a bit as she turned towards the plant woman.

Y.Grey: "Oh Mother Vita, now that I think about it... what was Y/n like when he first came here?"

"Makam~? Oh, Y/nYaYa on his first visit~? Hahaa, if I remember correctly, he wasn't that much different from you GreYaYa~"

Y.Grey: "Huh, Really?"

"Makam~ Yes, he was extremely shy and scared~ Infact, he was so scared by TempusYaYa, that he fainted~"

Hearing this shocked Grey aa she turned towards the younger version of Y/n playing keep away from the terrifying masked shilouette that was just mentioned.

Y.Grey: "Y/n fainting? That doesn't sound possible!"

"Makam~ With how he has grown I would agree, but that was back when he was the age you and him appear as now~ He came here because he ran away from his home~ His only family bullying him so relentlessly that he couldn't handle it and ran away, I felt so bad for my dear child that I took him in and care for him for a few months~ He told us about his Big Brother, SethYaYa, his Amazing Father, and other family members... along with that beautiful dream of his~ To become the Wizard King, just to prove that anyone can make their dreams come true, nomatter who they are or where they come from~ I was so awe inspired by that dream~ And now he's finally apart of a Magic Knight Squad, with a new family that cares for him so dearly~ I truely do love all of you for taking care of my Dear Y/nYaYa so dearly~"

Hearing this caused Grey to think a bit... comparing the stories she heard Y/n tell so happily about his brother... and her own experiences.

Y.Grey: "... H-How did I never notice that..."

"Makam~? Notice What GreYaYa?"

Y.Grey: "... Y/n and I... we're so similar... we both did so much for the approval of our families... only to be attacked for it... we both ran... but Y/n went back and endured the pain his family inflicted on him... and became so much stronger for it... and I-I just... found a new family... and stayed a shy mess who isn't even good at hiding her true form..."

Grey said looking down sadly... but Vita only chuckled at this.

"You are very wrong GreYaYa~"

Vita began, catching Grey off guard.

"I bet that you think that all of this is only helping you out of your Shy Nature~ You, like many of my other children are very shallow minded in that regard~ But you couldn't be more wrong~ Look at Y/nYaYa now~ Before he couldn't go as long as an Hour without Mentioning how Amazing his brother or his brother's magic was... but how long has it been since Y/nYaYa has mentioned SethYaYa~? Makam~"

Hearing this caused Grey to think again... only to be shocked realizing something.

Y.Grey: "Y-Y/n hasn't mentioned Seth... in a long while... I think the last he mentioned Seth was after the capital got stormed by the Eye Of The Midnight Sun..."

"Makam~ You must see the bigger picture GreYaYa~ You may have run away and found a new family, and inturn turned into a nervous, scared and shy person... but you are better off than Y/nYaYa... he has suffered so much Mental and Physical Torment by the one he looks up to most... even when he isn't around, SethYaYa will continue to torment Y/nYaYa in memory~ That growing Anger, Sadness and so much more will build up inside of Y/nYaYa... and sooner or later... it is going to be let out all at once... in a violent explosion~ Y/nYaYa may be helping you out of your Shyness now... but in the grander scheme, you, and the other Black Bulls, are all helping Y/nYaYa into a much better place~"

Y.Grey: "What do you mean?"

"Makam~ Maybe I should put it like this~ The Current Wizard King is a Child of TempusYaYa correct~? He wields the seemingly endless powers of Time Magic, he maybe the strongest in the world, but even if the strongest take many hits for his people and endures them all, those are still wounds that have been dealt, and they won't just fade away, without proper treatment, those wounds will fester and grow infected~ With enough time, even the smallest of stabs can rip someone in half~"

Y.Grey: "I get it... I've been stabbed before... but meeting Yami and the others... my wounds have been treated, they may still hurt and even leave scars... but they've healed... But Y/n... he's been getting stabbed and beaten by everyone except Vice for years. He may have gotten a bandage from you, but as soon as he did, he jumped right back into the fire, enduring so much pain without anyone to properly treat his wounds... but now he has us! Asta, Noelle, Magna, Luck, Captain Yami, Gauche, Gordon, Finral, Vanessa, Charmy, Vice Captain Triton, and even me. All of us have been his friends, all of us have been helping to treat those deeply cut wounds of his! And it's been working too!"

"Makam~ Yes~! Now you understand why you are all so dear to me~! But... even if you can heal most of Y/nYaYa's injuries... many of them have left Scars... and there is still one that cuts deeper than all the others... an Infected wound, on that's been there from before even Y/nYaYa even remembers... that is a Wound that only SethYaYa and Y/nYaYa themselves can heal."

Y.Grey: "Then I'll make sure to help and heal every single wound that Y/n has! I'll use my magic to transform every single injury of his back into a beyond healthy body! He never gives up, on himself or us! So I won't give up when helping him!"

Grey yelled with a giant smile and a mass of determination in her eyes before she dashed over to the Young Y/n, Baby Doru, Tempus, and the Makams as they started a brand new game, all the while, Vita let out a happy sign.

"Makam~ HaHaaa~ Quite the Odd relationship my Children have~ Although you claim to heal his wounds, he still heals your own~"

The sun began to set over the EverStill Forest, causing an Orange Hue to fall over the once blue sky. Inside of the EverStill Village, Vita was seen with the Makams facing Y/n, Grey and Doru as they prepared to leave the forest, with Tempus offering to lead them out as he went back to his sitting rock.

Stag Makam: "AaFa! Do you really have to go?"

Mantis Makam: "BaGa! BaGa! Why Not Stay? Why Not Stay?"

"Makam~ Now my Children, they cannot do such a thing. If Y/nYaYa wishes to become the Wizard King, then he must surpass the Child of TempusYaYa, and he can't do such a thing stuck here, as much as it hurts my heart seeing you leave~"

Y.Y/n: "Don't be sad guys! I promise I'll be back! And next time Grey and I will bring a ton more friends!"

Y.Grey: "Yeah, we can bring the entire squad. You guys would love Magna, Luck and Asta."

B.Doru: "DO! DODO!"

Makams: "CAN'T WAIT! YAYA!"

And with a final goodbye, the Makams all rushed off into their trees, quickly disappearing. Y/n and the others got ready to make their way out of the forest, but they were stopped by Tempus and Vita, who held out their hands towards Doru and Grey, revealing an odd floating symbol that looked like an Hourglass with Vines wrapped around it.

"Makam~ GreYaYa, DoYaYa, please take these Blessing of ViTempus, as a gift from us to you on your increasingly dangerous journey~ whether you apply it to you Grimoire and become Children of our name, or apply it to your body to be directly blessed, either shall be fine, for you have proved yourselves in our eyes."

Y.Grey: "A Blessing?"

Y.Y/n: "It's like that thing Phorcyus gave Emile that turned them human and gave them magic! Granmom and Grandad gave me one when I was a kid, it's why I heal super fast!"

Y/n said as he lifted up his shirt a bit, causing the same symbol to shine on his body before disappearing like it was never there in the first place.

"Ah~? So you met PhorcYaYa~! Your journeys truely are getting more and more dangerous my dear Children~"

After handing the blessing to Grey and Doru, Grey didn't place the symbol anywhere yet, while Doru ate his symbol, gaining a new type of magic along with his already powerful Doru Magic. The trio then said their goodbyes to Vita as they, lead by Tempus walked out of EverStill Village and back into the dark foggy forest. Walking through the thick fog once again, Y/n, Grey and Doru were back into their adult forms as they made their way through the now very less creepy foggy woods. Although, now the path they walked through was a simple stright line, as the trees moved out of the way, easily allowing Y/n, Grey and Doru a way out of the Maze of Fog and trees, until finally, the trio found themselves out of the EverStill Forest, standing right outside the entrance with the two arcing tree gates.

Y/n: "It was nice seeing you again Gandad!"

Grey: "I-It was very nice meeting you Mr. Tempus!"

Doru: "Doru! Doru!"

The group said their goodbyes to the masked shilouette of time, as Y/n pulled out his PPM and got ready to teleport back to bade... but as he did...

An odd, deep, raspy, mysterious, and terrifying voice was heard, like an echo when you're alone at night.. this made Grey and Doru shiver as they turned to see Y/n facing Tempus with a serious expression.

Tempus was silent after this, slowly lowering his hand before he began slowly walking into the dense fog of EverStill Forest.

Grey: "Wh-What was that all about?"

Y/n: "He does that every time... every time I leave here, Grandad Tempus warns me... that "He Will Die"..."

Grey: "He? Who's he?"

Y/n: "No idea. He Will Die is all Grandad ever says. But if he's warning me... then He, must be important..."

[Emotional Whiplash!]

The sun had fully set and the moon hung high in the sky, shinning brightly with the stars. Anywhere else, the night would have been tranquil quiet and nice... but this was the Black Bulls Base.

Y/n: "Alright Grey! You ready for this!"

??? Grey: "Makam~ Yes! Whenever you are~!"

Y/n:
"SURGE:
SHIFT!"

*FWO-SHING!*

*POOOOF!*

Y/n's surge sword radiated a mass of blue and white pixels, before he sent a surge bullet flying through the air. The pixelated slash quickly flew through the air before slamming into a giant stone, that stone then poofed into a mass of smoke, revealing that it had suddenly transformed into an exact stone replica of Vita.

Y/n: "HAHA! WE DID IT! Your transformation are really on point Grey!"

Y/n said to Grey with a giant smile on his face, quickly revealing that Grey had taken the form of Vita to give Y/n a reference when he used Surge Shift. The in a puff of smoke, Grey quickly transformed back into her true form with a blush on her face as she tried to hide it with her hands.

Grey: "H-Hehe! I-I was just going my best is all! But that s-statue does look perfect!"

Soon after Grey, a few familiar faces appeared.

Asta: "HEY GUYS WE'RE BACK FROM OUR MISS-"

Yami: "Quiet down, you're givin me a headache."

Asta: "YES SIR!"

The rest of the Squad had returned from their mission! And came to the base's backyard after finding out that that's where Y/n and Grey were... only to be shocked at what they saw.

Y/n: "Hey guys! Welcome back! How was the mission?"

Luck: "Ah, It was super boring! We didn't even get to fight anyth-"

Finral: "WHAT THE HECK ARE THOSE THINGS!?"

Finral yelled in shock, bringing everyone's attention to the perfect stone statue of Vita and Tempus, Y/n had made, mostly shocked by it's odd form.

Y/n: "Y'like it! It's a statue of Grandad Tempus and Granmom Vita! I made them by using Grey's Transformation magic and my Surge! Aren't they cool!?"

Vanessa: "They look really... really good... scary good actually. Nice going Grey."

Grey: "Th-Thanks, b-but it was m-mostly Y/n's work..."

Luck: "Are these statues of real monsters? THEY LOOK SUPER STRONG! Where are they? I wanna fight em!"

Asta: "Ugh, that really plain lookin one's giving me the creeps."

Y/n: "Eh, Grandad does that to everyone.,c

Asta: "Holdon, that freaky lookin thing's your Grandparent?"

Emile: "... They kinda remind of me Old Man Phorcyus."

Gauche: "Although the craftsmanship is commendable, None of them are my Angel Marie, so they're trash."

The group shared their opinions about the statues, with one of them most insightful being Gordon, but he still doesn't have subtitles and I don't feel like blowing out my ears turning my volume to max, so I'm moving on. Triton was seen staring at the two statues with a mass of suspicion, until he suddenly gasped in realization.

Trion: "Y/n... did you go back to the EverStill Forest?"

Y/n: "Yeah! I even brought Grey there!"

Grey: "I-It was r-really fun!"

Triton's eyes widened as he let out a sigh of disbelief and relief.

Triton: "Holy Shit, how do you keep coming out of that place Alive!?"

Y/n: "What do you mean, it's not dangerous at all!"

Grey: "I-It's just really weird and creepy..."

The two of them said shocking Triton even more, but now getting the attention of the other guild members.

Asta: "Hold on, the EverStill Forest, I've heard that name before."

Magna: "Well duh, every commoner form the Forsaken Realm knows about that place. It that forest in Silent Mog with that story about the Lumberjack and the 23 Trees people tell their kids to shut em up."

Triton: "Ok. 1. You kids might not know it, but The EverStill Forest is one of the Most places IN THE WORLD, because it's the home of the 2 most Powerful, and Vengeful Gods out there! Mother Nature and Father Time! And 2. That's not how that Story Goes!"

Finral: "It's not?..."

Finral asked, extremely worried and curious along with the other Black Bulls, minus, Y/n and Grey who were busy working on another statue.

Triton: "A Long Time ago 23 Lumber Jacks and a Nobleman went into the EverStill Forest, each Lumberjack cut down 1 tree for the Noble's vacation home... but as soon as the Noble walked out of the forest with the Lumberjacks following him... all 23 of them suddenly disappeared. Going back inside of the forest, the Noble man found the Goddess of Nature placing the 23 Lumberjacks into the trees they chopped down before fixing those frees... then the God of Time put the jacks in a time loop, do that every single day, the jacks would loop through time, cutting the trees, and the version of themselves inside in half, before being placed inside said trees and continuing the cycle. Cutting down those trees earned those 23 Lumberjacks Endless Torment!"

Everyone was completely shocked by this, especially Finral, who now swore never to cut down a tree for the rest of his life.

Vanessa: "Th-That can't be true... that's just a story, right? I mean we did meet the God of the Sea... but not all stories about gods are true... right?"

Triton: ".... Hey Y/n, can you tell everyone about the Ghost Trees."

Y/n: "Oh those? Well, near the entrance of EverStill, if you enter or leave at sunset, you can see the forest spirits carrying tree trunks and axes around. But Granmom and Grandad only put them there to scare of anyone who wanted to hurt the forest."

Grey: ".... W-Wait that's what those were? Forest Spirits? I-I thought the fog was just playing tricks on me..."

Hearing this shocked everyone, knowing that Y/n wouldn't lie about seeing something like that... and with Grey being a second witness to the ghosts and their experiences with Phorcyus, the God of the Sea that almost ate them for just going near the Seabed Temple... yeah they believed what Triton was saying.

Y/n: "Oh yeah I almost forgot! Hey Dad, you should come with us next time! Granmom Vita, Tempus and the Makams would really love to meet you guys! And they've gotta special gift for you all too!"

Hearing this filled the Squad with a sense of dread as Triton turned towards them with an, "I told you so" kinda look.

Triton: "Not his Dad!"

Was the only thing the Vice Captain said before rushing off back into the base, leaving everyone to say no to what they thought was a 1 way ticket to endless torment, but was actually just a fun time as kids with forest spirits, along with a Blessing of Time and Nature... welp, guess some things aren't ment for everyone.

Standing, almost, completely alone in the backyard of the base, Y/n was a tiny bit bummed to hear that nobody wanted to go to EverStill Village when He visited again, but being who he is, Y/n shrugged it off after a few seconds. As he got ready to make a third statue for Phorcyus, but his thoughts were cut off when he suddenly felt a tap on his shoulder, quickly turning around, Y/n was faced with Grey standing there with a very nervous expression on her face.

Grey: "Y-Y-Y/n..."

Y/n: "Huh? Grey, what's wrong. You look different than usual? Well that's hard to say, I mean, no matter what you do, when you're in you're true form you look super cut-"

*Mwh~*

Musting up every single semblance of courage she could in the one moment, Grey built it all up before it suddenly exploded out of her, causing her to jump towards Y/n and plant a kiss on him... but this wasn't a wimpy baby kiss on the cheek, this was an Full Blown Kiss on the Lips!

Needless to say, Y/n was completely shocked at this, as Grey kept the kiss going for a few seconds, before pulling away from Y/n, causing him to wobble a bit, still in shock from the blue male's action. Also,aloudsplashofwater,alongwithpeckingwasheardasAstascreamedinpainfromtheinsideofthebase, But That's Not Important!

Grey stared at Y/n for a moment, for once, both of them had faces full of blush, but this time, Grey was the first to speak up.

Grey: "Y-Y/n... Y-YOU'RE AN AMAZING PERSON!"

Y/n: "... Eh?"

Grey: "You're magic is amazing! The best I've ever seen! It's ultra powerful! And even without magic, you're able to do stuff I couldn't even dream of! You're strong and powerful, you're not book smart, and you can't read, but that doesn't matter! Because when it comes to magic, fighting and training, you're the Genius! The way you never give up, and still have such a bright smile even after everything you've been through... IT'S AWE INSPIRING! And when you fight with Asta by your side, and even as Omnista, you're beyond Amazing! When people say that your useless or just a magic bomb because you can control your magic, WELL THEY'RE JUST THE DUMBEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD! If those stuck up Nobles and your Jerk Big Brother had Surge and Infinite Magic like yours, there's no way they would have been able to handle it as long as you have! They would have given up if they were under the same pressure as you, but you didn't! And that's why..."

Grey took a deep breathe and held it for a moment... until...

Grey: "THAT'S WHY OUT OF ALL MAGES IN THE KNIGHT SQUADS, YOU'LL BECOME THE WIZARD KING! YOU'RE AMAZING! YOUR MAGIC'S AMAZING! AND WHEN YOU'RE AROUND IT MAKES ALL OF US WANT TO GET EVEN BETTER AND NEVER GIVE UP! THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU SO COOL!"

Grey yelled causing her to pant a bit, and right when Y/n registered all of that and got ready to respond... Grey cut him off once again by slamming the Surge mage with a full force hug. Before she let go and ran off with a gigantic Crimson blush on her face, running into the base and up to her room with a mass of extreme speed.

Y/n on one hand just stood there shocked for a moment... before he simply grew a happy smile at Grey's words.... before his blush reappeared, realizing that she had kissed him.

With Grey, the girl was in her room, hiding her entire head under a pillow for a moment... before she took said pillow off and hugged it close to her chest, revealing a smile on her face.
