《Castle Town》

After the Eye of the Midnight Sun had attacked Castle town, many innocent people and some Magic Knights were injured... including the Captain of the Crimson Lions, Fuegoleon. Standing outside of the medical ward as the injured were healed were the magic Knights, who had a very somber aura of failure around them.

Mimosa: "This is horrible... will they pull through?"

Sol: "Poor guys. I hope they wake up soon."

Charlotte: "As do I."

Out of all the saddened magic knight, it seemed like Seth and Melissa had the worst of it, an aura of despair floated around them, along with their mass of injuries.

Alecdora: "We've bolstered the magic barrier, the transmission magic's been restored aswell. Most of us are on the ground searching for any stragglers the enemy may have left behind.

Hamon: "The capital should be completely secure now, and we're searching for those two Noisy- I mean those lively sword weilding Black Bull boys aswell."

Even with all this good news, Noelle, Mimosa, Klaus, Melissa, and even Seth still felt increasingly bad about letting those two get captured in the first place.

Seth: "... This is all my fault... if I was just a little stronger..."

Klaus: "They haven't had them for long, and the two of then are fighters... plus, together their an unstoppable team. When they get back I'm going to give them a stern talking to."

*WOOSH!*

Suddenly, everyone felt a sudden increase of magic pressure, when the Wizard King suddenly appeared infront of everyone in the blink of an eye, besides him was an odd magic orb holding someone inside of it, along with Y/n and Asta who looked quite bewildered.

Julius: "Hey everyone! Nice work today!"

Mimosa: "It's the Wizard King!"

Noelle: "Asta and Y/n too!"

Asta: "Hiii. The gangs all here, how's it goin?"

Y/n: "Hey, so I'm guessing we were the only ones who got captured... huh..."

Sol: "Hey look, he's got a captive."

Sol said as Julius let go of Asta and Y/n as the two of them walked over to their team of Magic Knights.

Asta: "Man, for I minute there I thought that was gonna be the end of me."

Y/n: "Same here... although I did learn some things that might be useful if we ever meet those guys again."

Noelle: "Please! You two are always getting in over your heads, especially you Y/n!"

Y/n: "Huh!? What did I do!?"

Noelle: "Charging into battle like yourself like that! Only a complete idiot would do something like tha-"

Klaus: "ASTA! Y/N!"

Klaus suddenly dashed past Noelle, pushing her out of the way as he dashed towards the two of them, placing his hands on their shoulders.

Klaus: "You're really here! You're both back! They took the two of you! Do you know how worried I was!? I'm so glad you're back!"

Klaus yelled as he started crying tears of joy.

Asta: "We're fine..."

Y/n: "Yeah! It's gonna take more than that to take us down!"

Noelle thoughts: "What happened to that Stern Talking to?...."

Noelle thought in annoyance... when suddenly-

Mimosa: "YOU'VE COME BACK TO US!"

Mimosa yelled as she dashed past Noelle and Klaus, and even pushed Asta away to envelop Y/n in crushing hug.

Y/n: "Woah! Mimosa?"

Mimosa: "Are you ok!? Your injuries, they look horrible! Please, let me help you!"

Y/n: "I'm fine Mimosa, you don't need to waste your magic on me."

After hearing this, Mimosa quickly realized what she was doing and quickly got shy because of it.

Mimosa: "I-I'm just glad your ok..."

After that Mimosa quickly walked off, as Nero quickly flew onto the scene and landed on Y/n's head, before she flew around and nestled herself into his as she usually does, making Y/n smile. That was until a hand landed on Y/n shoulder, making him turn as the smile on his face, quickly turned into an expression of shock as he saw Seth... only unlike normal, there was an extremely dark aura around Seth as he toghtly gripped his shoulder and glared at the Black Bull Boi.

Y/n: "H-Hey Big B-"

Seth: "If you ever do something stupid like that again, I'll use Masamune to sever your leg tendon and mail you back to Master in a Box! Got it!?"

Seth yelled at the younger boy while gripping the massive Katana on his back, causing Y/n to shake a bit in fear of he listened to Seth.

Y/n: "Y-Yeah, I understand! I won't get captured ever again Big Bro!"

Y/n said keeping a smile on his face while fearing his big brother, who kept on glaring at Y/n with the same dark aura surrounding him... and continuing to grow, scaring Y/n even more... but that was until-

Melissa: "Y/N!!!!"

Seth: "GAHHAAA!"

Melissa rushed in with tears in her eyes, throwing Seth out of the way before she grabbed Y/n in a massive and crushing hug.

Y/n: "M-Melissa!"

Melissa: "WHAAA! Y/N! I WAS SO SCARED! I COULDN'T MOVE AND SETH FOUGHT SO HARD! BUT YOU STILL GOT CAPTURED! I thought you would be gone forever! AND I NEVER GOT TO APOLOGIZE FOR TRYING TO USE YOU TO GET INTO A POWERFUL MAGIC KNIGHT SQUAD!"

Y/n: "Heheh! It's fin- wait, you what?"

Melissa continued to hug Y/n while he was confused at her actions, while royal dragon girl was hugging Y/n, the other royal girls, Noelle and Mimosa seemed to glare at the other, while Nero just seemd annoyed... as per usual...

After a short time of reunion, the Magic Knight then turned towards Julius who began to explain some things.

Julius: "I see. And we don't know when he'll wake up? Loosing a man like Fuegoleon would be a major blow. The consequences of my misjudgment."

Charlotte: "No, it's our inexperience to blame. Pluse there was something else. We discoved that the pendant Fuegoleon was wearing has disappeared."

Julius: "It's missing?"

Seth: "Wait a sec, so you're saying they stagged this whole attack on Magic Knight HQ, just to take a Magic Knight Captain's pendant?"

Charlotte: "Do you have any idea who they are sir?"

Julius: "No... but there have been rumors lately. And from what they've said, they want to destroy the kingdom... however, I bet it's more than just that..."

Julius said as began thinking to himself, before he glaced at Y/n's direction.

Julius: "We'll interrogate the prisoners later, whoever they are. I ask one thing of the Magic Knights, that you preserve the peace of the Clover Kingdom. To achieve that we must put everything on the line and keep on fighting."

Y/n & Asta: "YES SIR-"

Nozel: "If you'll excuse me Wizard King."

Y/n and Asta yelled as they did the Clover salute, but as they did, the Silver Eagles began walking off, confusing the two of them.

Julius: "There's a saying. Don't wake a sleeping lion. This enemy may have woken an Eagle instead."

Y/n: "... Yeah... and that eagle just happens to be a massive dick..."

Asta: "You said it."

Y/n: "Welp! We'll all have to get way stronger! So next time we see those Midnight Sun guys, we can kick their asses without even trying!"

Asta: "Yeah!"

???: "AND I'M GOING TO BE STRONGEST OF ALL!"

Suddenly, Leopold bursted out of the Medical Building, suprising everyone.

Melissa: "Leo!?"

Noelle: "You should still be resting!"

Y/n: "Woah, what happened to him?"

Leopold: "Asta! I'm glad to see we've both survived! It's only appropriate that my rival evaded death too! We must both grow stronger together! I will work even stronger until I've surpassed my brother! And then... I'LL BECOME THE NEXT WIZARD KING! And now for this!"

Leopold said as he set his thumb on fire, before he slammed it onto his forehead, creating a burned Diamond mark on his head.

Leopold: "This mark, is a symbol of my oath!"

Asta: ".... Yeah! I mean, most of that went over my head, but I can tell I've got a good rival!... so... who exactly are you again?"

Leopold: "HUH!? HOW CAN NOT KNOW WHO I AM!?"

Asta: "I don't know! Have you ever introduced yourself?"

Leopold: "I AM LEOPOLD VERMILLION! BUT IN THE SAKE OF FRIENDSHIP CALL ME LEO!"

Asta: "Uh, aren't we moving a little fast here?"

Leopold: "YOU CARE ABOUT FORMALITY ALL OF A SUDDEN!?"

《Timeskip》

Soon after the attack on castle town, the Wizard King made a speech about continuing to fight against the terrorist organization and protect the kingdom. The attack was only possible because the mages who were supposed to take care of the magic barrier had suddenly dissapeared. After this, the Wizard King made a conclusion, that there was a Traitor among the Magic Knights.

《Timeskip》

Y/n: "Alright! I've got back all my things!"

After regaining his Stuff, Y/n had returned to Noelle and Asta, only to see a small girl leaving happily as Asta held a basket in his hands.

Asta: "Oh, hey Y/n, whats up?"

Y/n: "Nothing much. Whats with the basket?"

Noelle: "That little girl we saved made us some cup cakes."

Y/n: "Woah, they look nice."

*FWOOSH!*

Y/n: "Wait, where'd they go?"

Suddenly the Basket was snatched out of Asta's hand, revealing Charmy infront of them already eating one happily.

Y/n: "Huh? Charmy!?"

Asta: "When did you get here!?"

Charmy: "Where there is tasty food there I will be! Here, I've got a few to spare, go on, wanna try?"

Asta: "You do know those are ours right?"

Charmy: "It's ok, i don't mind sharing."

Y/n: "*Sigh* Nope. Not dealing with this."

Charmy: "Hey! What are you doing with my Cupcakes!"

Y/n suddenly snatched up the basket into his hand shocking charmy.

Y/n: "These are Asta and Noelle's! They saved that girl and helped protect tbe Kingdom while you were God Knows where!"

Charmy: "Hey! I was protecting the kingdom too! I was stopping an old witch lady with the man of my dreams!"

Y/n: "Man, you're as annoying as you are short."

Charmy: "You take that back!"

Charmy yelled as she tried to grab the basket back, but Y/n, being way taller than her, held the basket over way above her, causing her to try and climb up Y/n and grab it, but it was useless when Y/n switched hands.

Y/n: "If I give you one will you calm down?"

Charmy: "Make it three and you've got yourself a deal!"

Y/n: "Fine!"

Y/n said before he tossed 3 of the cupcakes to Charmy who quickly grabbed and began eating them.

Y/n: "Here you guys go."

Y/n said as he passed two more cupcakes to Asta and Noelle.

Asta: "Thanks Y/n!"

Noelle: "I suppose I can do yoy the honor of accepting."

The two of them bit into the Cupcakes, before their eyes widen at their taste.

Asta: "Thats good!"

Noelle: "I'll admit it's not terrible."

Y/n smiled at their reactions, before he realized something.

Y/n: "Wait, how did you even get into the castle in the first place."

Y/n asked Charmy, cauing her to pull out her Grimore.

Charmy: "I'll show you!"

Charmy was then surrounded in Cotton, before she began to shrink into a tiny ball that hid itself in Asfa's hood.

Y/n: "Great, now she's pocket sized..."

Y/n said with a tired expression. While he stared, Asta noticed something in the distance.

Asta: "Oh hey it's them! GUYS!"

Asta yelled while waving making Y/n and Noelle turn, only to see Mimosa, Yuno, Klaus and Seth walking together.

Klaus: "I know that yell."

Mimosa: "Oh! Hi Y/n! Hi Asta!"

Seth: "Yo."

Y/n: "Hey Guys!"

The two teams began to talk from across the small riverbank that divided the two of them.

Klaus: "Are your wounds all healed up? Wait, I asked you that before, now didn't I?"

Asta: "Yeah, geez you always worry this much? YUNO! I HEARD YOU FINISHED OFF AN ENEMY LIKE IT WAS NOTHING YOU JERK!"

Yuno: "That makes me a jerk?"

Asta: "WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU!? WHAT YOU THINK YOU'RE TOO GOOD FOR ME CAUSE YOUR ALL POWERFUL NOW!?"

Asta yelled, cauaing Yuno to walk forwards, while also opening his Grimore. A large ball of wind built up infront of Yuno, before he sent it flying towards at the Black Bulls, creating a giant Halk made of whirling winds.

Y/n, Asta & Noelle: "AAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Y/n and Asta quickly pulled out their Buster Swords, Asta's out of his Grimore and Y/n's off of his back. The two of them reeled their blades back, crossing them over eachother, before they slashed forwards.

Y/n & Asta: "GGGRRRAAAHHHH!!!"

*SHING!*

*BOOOOM!*

The two of them slashed the magic with their anti-magic blades, causing the wind to quickly Explode, before it Imploded on itself, causing a mass of dust to be kicked up off the ground. Mimosa, Klaus and Seth had faces of extreme shock while Yuno just had a bored expression on his face that pissed off the author for no reason.

Yuno: ".... I may have over done it."

Klaus: "WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR!? ARE YOU CRAZY!?"

Seth: "YOU COULD HAVE SERIOUS HURT THEM YOU EMOTIONLESS PRICK!"

Y/n: "Man, I mean my brother is jerk at times, but he can atleast say hi without shooting that big of a blast of magic at me!"

Asta: "Man, I was just teasing the guy! I didn't think he's try to kill me for it!"

After a few seconds, the wind around the two began swirl around, forming a message infront of them, that read...

"Later, Li'l Rasta."

Y/n: "Wow... dick move..."

Noelle: "Yeah... it is..."

Asta: "GRRRRR! OK THAT'S IT AN EVEN BIGGER JERK NOW! YOU WANNA GO LET'S DO IT! I'LL FIGHT YOU RIGHT NOW! COME DOWN HERE AND FIGHT ME FACE TO FACE! WE'LL SEE WHO'S STRONGER WHEN I SLASH YOUR MAGIC IN HALF!"

Asta began yelling as Yuno just started walking away.

Klaus: "Come back, Yuno, wait!"

Seth: "Aaaannnndddd, he's gone."

Asta kept on yelling, while Mimosa sad Seth promised to themselves to get stronger, while Klaus wondered about Yuno's sudden boost in power. Asta then stopped yelling as be placed his blade over his shoulder.

Asta: "Heh, we'll have our showdown. But only when we both get stronger."

Y/n: "I bet you'll win. Yuno's magic can't do anything to stop your Anti-Magic. The same thing goes for me and Seth."

Y/n and Seth shot eachother a glance. Y/n smiled, while Seth kept a monotone face, before a small smirk appeared on Seth's face before he started walking off aswell.

《Black Bulls Base》

Asta: "Hey guys! Welcome back! How'd the mission go?"

Y/n: "Tell us! Come on guys!

Back at the Black Bulls base, Magna and Luck stood there telling about their mission.

Magna: "It wasn't to bad man, but I am whipped out!"

Luck: "It was exhausting."

Magna: "Worth it though! We did so well out there we earned ourselves a shiny new star!"

Asta: "THAT'S SO AWESOME!"

Y/n: "Another dent in our debt!"

Luck: "Magna! Tell them about the Crackling Magna Typhoon! Tell them how amazing it was!"

A image of Magna spinning around with a mass of lighting spinning around him.

Magna: "Don't you ever use that attack again!"

Y/n: "Sounds... painful..."

Magna: "Yeah! It was! But in the end I feel like I got way stronger! Thats right, at this rate I'll be leading the squad in no time. Get ready we're entering the Age of Magna! Hehe! Stick with me you guys you're gonna go places!"

Asta & Y/n: "YES SIR!"

/n: "OH WAIT! We almost forgot about the awesome news!"

Asta: "Oh yeah!"

Asta and Y/n said with extremely happy looks on their faces, confusing Luck and Magna.

Magna: "Huh? What awesome news are you guys talking about?"

Y/n: "Well, after the attack on the capital, There was a very special Distinguished Service Ceremony!"

Asta: "And guess what! We did so well that I got ranked up to Junior Magic Knight 3rd Class!"

Y/n: "And I Ranked up to Junior Magic Knight 1st Class!"

Y/n & Asta: "GO TEAM ANTI-MAGIC!"

Magna: "WHAAA!? Wait... what the heck is a Junior Magic Knight 3rd and 1st Class?"

Luck: "Well..."

Asta: "YOU MEAN YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW!?"

Asta yelled in shock as Magna and Luck were still confused about the Rankings. When suddenly.

Yami: "Idiots. You've been here how long now and you don't know what it is?"

Yami said as he placed down the newspaper he was reading and started to speak.

Yami: "You see, theres a Knights Ranking System. You two clowns haven't ranked up since you joined, so you still only Junior Magic Knights 5th Class. Better show the two of them some respect."

Magna and Luck were surprised by this when attention suddenly shifted to another character.

Yami: "They made Charmy here Junior Magic Knight 1st Class too."

Charmy: "Yes inferiors bow before me."

Charmy said while Magna yelled in shock, but Luck just seemed to laugh at this. Meanwhile, Y/n just seemed annoyed more than anything. Charmy then walked infront of the two and pointed behind herself.

Charmy: "Here's your place. Behind the great and powerful Charmy!"

Yami: "Asta got pretty roughed up against one guy, plus he had the help of a captain, so he didn't rank up so high. But Y/n here was able to take out a high level mage with the help of only a single mage, and they were even trying to capture him. And Charmy was able to take one of the attackers captive, but i think she was just trying to beat her up."

Charmy then started to a little dance of happiness that annoyed Magna and Y/n who was just watching in the background. Meanwhile, Yami walked over to Y/n and Asta, drawing their attention away from the gluttonous gremlin.

Yami: "Nice work out there guys. You didn't work together like you usually do, but you've proven that you're still pretty good when your separated."

Y/n: "Y-Yeah... but... I kinda feel like i don't deserve my rank up."

Yami: "Hmm? Why's that?"

Y/n: "Well, when my big bro joined up with me and Melissa... we lost pretty badly to this guy who used Celestial Magic... we didn't stand a chance against him at full power... and I had to be saved by my dad."

Yami: "Your dad? Who's your-"

Y/n: "I just feel like losing to that mage and getting captured really overshadows my victory."

Yami: "You serious kid? God, stop being such a downer all the time!"

Y/n: "I'm a downer!?"

Yami: "Listen! You kicked the crap out of that one mage, right?"

Y/n: "Yeah..."

Yami: "And she was super strong, right?"

Y/n: "Yea-"

Yami: "Then good job kiddo! Pat yourself on the back for once!"

Yami said as he slapped Y/n's back, injuring him a bit at the force of the hit.

Y/n: "But I-"

Yami: "You're not the Wizard King yet. So you can afford to lose a fight or too! Just get stronger and kick his ass harder than he kicked yours!"

Y/n: "....."

Y/n stayed silent for a moment thinking to himself, before his signature smile reappeared back on his face.

Y/n: "Yeah... YEAH YOUR RIGHT CAP! I'm still a Junior Knight! I still need to fail, learn and get all the results I can before I make Seth my Rival! And become the Wizard King! Asta! Let's go outside and fight right now at full power! That's sure to make us 2 Times Stronger in a single training session!"

Asta: "Can't argue with that Math! LET'S DO IT!"

*GRIP!*

Y/n: "Gah crap!"

Asta: "Not again!"

uddenly Yami grabbed onto Y/n and Asta's heads, keeping them in place before they could run off.

Yami: "Hold it. You two need to rest. Asta, your all banged up, and Y/n your exhausted. You guys trying to kill yourselves?"

Y/n: "YOUR GONNA KILL US IF YOU KEEP CRUSHING OUR SKULLS LIKE THIS!"

Y/n yelled causing Yami to let go of the Anti-Magic Duo.

Asta: "Aw man, I really wanted to train."

Y/n: "Same here."

Noelle: "Captain Yami's right you two. You need some time off. Especially you Y/n."

Y/n: "HUH!? WHY ME!?"

Noelle: "Don't be an idiot! That Celestial Mage's magic did something to you. And now your Magic's more hectic than usual! Take some time to absorbe and recover before you overload yourself!"

Y/n: "*Sigh* Alright. I really don't wanna blow up again... or whatever happens when my magic overloads... I dont really remember what happened when it first happened."

Noelle let out a relived sigh... when suddenly a familiar Spatial Mage appeared.

Finral: "You guys got some free time? Let's all go to a Mixer!"

Noelle: "HUH!?"

Asta: "A WHAT NOW!?"

Y/n: "Whats a Mixer? Like a thing you blend fruit with to make Smoothies? Smoothies sound fun!"

A chibi Y/n said as the image of a smoothie appeared in a thought bubble above his head.

Finral: "Nah, it's not some stupid smoothies!"

A chibi version of Finral said as he shoved the Smoothie Thought Bubble away, making the glass shatter.

Finral: "A Mixer is an event where you eat some decent food and meet some Hot Chicks!"

Y/n: "....... Eat food... with some Baby Chickens of High Temperature?"

Chibi Y/n said with a smile as that exact image appeared in another thought bubble.

Finral: "Wha- No! Very Attractive Women! What are you six!?"

Y/n: "Hmmmm... i don't know, sounds boring."

The little chibi segment was then destroyed as Yami's face appeared blowing some smoke.

Yami: "You've work to do."

Finral: "Think about it Y/n! It'll be super fun!"

Asta: "I'll go with you Finral."

Finral: "See! Asta's going!"

Yami: "Work I said."

Y/n: "Nah, I think I'll just go visit Melony!"

Noelle: "Hold on a second! Who's Melony?"

Y/n: "Oh, she's this Magic Knight girl from the Aqua Deer who runs a Magic Item shop in the black market! She might have something that'll fix my magic overload a bit more!"

Finral: "Welp, if your out then Asta and I are going to a Mixer!"

Yami: "I'm gonna kill you!"

Finral: "Oh, Yami, did you wanna come too?"

《??????》

??? 1: "Come on slow poke! Hurry up Lil' Bro!"

??? 2: "I-I'm coming Big Brother! S-Slow down! Hey! He-"

*THUD!*

??? 2: "GAH! O-Ow..."

??? 1: "Huh? H-Hey! Are you alright!?"

Going up a large hill, two boys tried to run. The older boy was leading the way quite quickly, trying to make the younger boy catch up, but the younger boy was struggling, only to fall onto his face. Hearing this caused the older boy to quickly turn back and try to help the younger boy.

??? 1: "Hey, are you alright? Does anything hurt?"

??? 2: "N-No! I'm fine! You don't need to worry about me! The Wizard King eats scratches like these for breakfast lunch and dinner!"

The younger boy said with a large smile, causing the older one to gain a worried expression.

??? 1: "... That may be true. Be the Wizard King still looks out for himself, even if he gets scratched."

The older boy said as he ripped a piece of cloth off of his clothes and wrapped it around the younger boy's scrape, making the Younger Boy's smile even wider.

??? 2: "Thanks big brother! You're the best!"

??? 1: "Yeah! Now let's keep going! We're almost at the training ground!"

??? 2: "Alright!"

The two boys continued running up the hill, until the soon reached the top where the beautiful sight of the forest below and the clear sky was able to be seen.

??? 2: "Wow! This place really is special!"

??? 1: "Yeah, but the view isn't why."

??? 2: "Huh? Then how's it special?"

??? 1: "This stop right here, it's where I was first able to use my magic! I thought if I brought you here, you'd be able to use your magic too!"

The younger boy looked at his older brother with stars in his eyes.

??? 2: "WOAH! THIS HILL MUST BE ULTRA SPECIAL THEN!"

??? 1: "What are you waiting for! Try out some magic!"

The younger boy nodded and tried to use his magic, but nothing seemed to happen. The two brothers then came up the that same hill and tried to use magic day after day after day... until.....

One day, the two brothers were sitting next to eachother on the hill, after they had finished practicing magic... when suddenly something odd began to happen.

??? 2: "B-Big Brother! S-Something's happening! I-Is this Magic!?"

Suddenly, an odd yet bold aura began to surround the younger boy as he clentched his fists tightly.

??? 2: "I-It hurts! Really bad! I-I'm boiling!"

The older boy could only stare in awe as the aura grew more and more and more... tears coming out of the younger boy's eyes as he reached out fo his brother.

??? 2: "Please Help me, Big Bro-"

There was no sound, as a bright light engulfed the entire hill, creating a giant beacon of light that was almost as blinding as the sun, shoting high into the sky and past the clouds.

Inside of a large building, someone stood over the younger child as a mass of healing magic was applied to his body. The young boy was unconscious, bandages wrapping hid body as burns marked him from head to toe. Another man wearing red walked in and up to the healing mage.

?red?: "Is he gonna be ok?"

Healing Mage: "It's hard to say. But you can tell you that this boy isn't normal. His magic built up and had no way of escaping his body... so it forced it's way out... people can drain all their magic and be fine... but to have it build up so much it explodes... it's unheard of."

Outside of the door to this room listening in on the conversation was the older brother who stared and listened with beyond a mass of worry.

Healing mage: "Most of the effects of this are unknown. But I do know some things. The magic blast almost destroyed his neural network, but I was able to restore it to the best of my ability. All he needs is a lot of rest and very little brain activity so he can recover... other than that... The boy will suffer from long term memory... and since he's so young... I don't think he'll have any memories of anything before he wakes up."

Inside of the town Kikka, a Spatial Magic portal opened, causing Y/n to walk out. His sword on his back, and scarf around his neck as he smiled.

Y/n: "Thanks for the portal Finral."

Finral's head then poked out of the portal as he spoke to Y/n.

Finral: "Are you sure you don't wanna come with Asta and me to the Mixer? I'd rather take your innocence over Luck's insanity."

Y/n: "Nah, I don't really care about whatever that Mixer thing is. But you have fun with the others!"

Y/n said as he waved and began walking off, making Finral sigh.

Finral: "Welp, I tried. Now time to test my luck with Luck..."

Finral said to himself before he went back through the portal closing it behind him. After a short walk through the market filled town, Y/n had made his way to the entrance of the Black Market. The boy then walked through the fake wall into the Magic Filled alley, quickly walking down it until he had reached Melony's store known as, "The Artifake Emporium." Y/n was about to just walk inside, when he suddenly stopped realizing something. He then smiled as gripped the handle of his Buster Sword Surge, revealing an odd grey crystal in it's sword holes. He then walked inside with a smile in his face as he put his plan into action. The boy walked into the shop, seeing that alot of the magic items had changed.

Y/n: "Hello? Melony? You here? It's me Y/n! I came to see if you've got anymore cool items!"

Y/n said with a smirk as he gripped his blade even tighter, noticing a tiny bit of magic swirling behind him. A shadowy silhouette had appeared behind the boy with a smile on their face, they quickly began to sneak up on Y/n, before they rushed at him, their hands raised up like claws ready to pounce... bbbuuuttt!

*ZWOOSH!*

Shadow Melony: "HUH!?"

*FWOOSH!*

Shadow Melony: "WHAAA!!!"

*CRASH!*

Y/n: "PFFFF! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA! I TOTALLY GOT YOU!"

Suddenly, a giant version of one of Finral's portals appeared behind Y/n and right infront of Melony, causing her to fly through it and hit the wall with extreme speed face first. Her Shadow Mask fell off of her face as she hit the ground, making Y/n laugh.

Melony: "Grrr! You planned that... didn't you?"

Y/n: "Sure did. Told you I'd get you back for last time."

Y/n said with a smile still on his face as Melony got back to her feet with a smile on her face.

Melony: "Welp, you got me fair and square friendo! Put 'er there!"

Melony said as she held out her hand for a handshake... but Y/n wasn't as forgetful as she thought.

*ZZZZZZAAAAAPPPPP!!!*

Melony: "GAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

Y/n quickly took Melony's other hand and slapped it into her open hand waiting for a hand shake, causing Melony's Zap Ring to go off, shocking herself instead of Y/n. Y/n then looked at Melony smuggly while she giggled to herself.

Melony: "Guess you didn't forget about the Zap ring either... *sigh* alright. I know when I've been defeated... You win the battle of pranks Y/n."

Melony said as she took the Zap Ring off and held out her hand again. Y/n then smiled as he went tk shake.... bbbuuuttt...

Y/n: "GAHAHHAHAHAHA!"

Melony: "IS WHAT I WOULD OF SAID! IF I DIDNT HAVE A SECOND ZAP RING!"

fter the whole fiasco of shocking eachother, Y/n stood inside of Melony's store as she looked at and packed away a multitude of items inside of a lagre backpack.

Melony: "So my insanely powerful magic knight friend. What brings you to my humble shop today?"

Y/n: "Well. To be honest, I came here to see if you could fix a problem of mine."

Melony: "Magic Items are not a substitute for a trained medical professional or therapist."

Y/n: "What? No! I don't need therapy!"

Melony: "Ehhhhh-"

Y/n: "Anyway, I was in a fight, but a mage hit me with a weird spell, and after that, my magic's been kinda... fluctuaty?"

Hearing this caught Melony's interest as she observed a pair of old glasses before putting them in the bag too.

Melony: "Fluctuaty How?"

Y/n: "Well, every now and then, my Magic just, stops generating. Usually it does that constantly, but it's been speeding up and slowing down at will, and because of that half the time I try to use magic it doesn't work."

Melony hummed to herself, when she suddenly realized something making her perk up with a smile.

Melony: "OH! MAYBE YOU CAN FIND SOMETHING THAT'LL HELP YOU IN A DUNGEON!"

Y/n: "H-Huh? A Dungeon? Maybe... but there's no dungeon missions..."

Melony: "Well, you could Join me! My partner and I are going on a mission in a couple days! Why don't you join us?"

Y/n: "Seriously?"

Melony: "Yuppers! It's a pretty big dungeon, so I'm sure my partner and Captain will be fine with you joining! It'll be super fun, plus I'll get to see you using your Magic Sword in person!"

Y/n chuckled as he saw Melony get extremely excited with stars in her eyes at the thought of seeing Y/n fight.

Y/n: "Alright. Guess I'm going on a mission with some Aqua Deer."

Melony: "YES! Haha! You should go home and get some rest, or train or whatever your boys do! You'll need to be at peak strength if you wanna keep up with me and my partner!"

Melony said as she began pushing Y/n out of her shop with a giant smile on her face.

Y/n: "W-Wait! I do you have any Magic Tools that'll help fix the problem?"

Melony: "Nope! Now get out and go home!"

Y/n: "Melony! Hold up! You didn't even check!"

Melony: "WHY CHECK WHEN A DUNGEON IS ONLY A LITTLE SO FAR AWAY!"

Y/n: "MELONY PLEASE!"
