Ch.11 Skypiea
~Y/n pov~
"Hey guys! Look outside the ship." Luffy grinned.
I pulled myself up and peered over the railings.
An ocean of clouds? It looked so fluffy.
"How are we staying on them?" Nami exclaimed, fear evident in her facial expression.
"Of course you can stay on them! They're clouds." Luffy stated.
Usopp suddenly jumped up and stared at the clouds in shock.
"Is this an ocean in the sky?" Nami asked herself.
"Ocean in the sky?" Usopp repeated.
"But look! The Log Pose is still pointing upwards!" Nami complained to me and Robin.
"We're in a middle section of the cumuloregalis clouds." Robin stated.
"How do you think we get higher?" I asked curiously.
"I don't know."
There was a sudden splash.
I looked in the direction of the sound and realised that Usopp had jumped into the ocean.
Isn't that dangerous?
We all peered into the water and waited for him to come back up.
Nothings happening.
"Do you think he drowned?" I asked.
"I was just wondering... Do you think this ocean has a bottom?" Robin brought up.
"Did that bastard fall from the clouds?" Zoro yelled.
"Usopp!" Luffy stretched his arm in after Usopp as his body slumped weakly against mine.
"Stretch your arm as far as you can." Robin told him.
"But I can't see."
"Leave it to me."
Usopp came up but some sea creatures followed him.
I sighed at all the chaos that was caused.
~*~
We finally made it to the sky island.
There was a gate that read 'heaven's gate.'
But heaven isn't real... right?
"Heaven's gate? That's unlucky! Sounds like we're on our way to die!" Usopp started panicking to himself.
"Maybe we are already dead." Zoro stated.
"That would explain this weird world." Sanji added.
"I'm pretty sure none of us are going to heaven, even if it did exist." I commented as the idiots all got excited.
"Look there! Someone's coming out." Usopp pointed to inside the gate.
There were lots of doors and someone was walking through the door nearest to us.
"She has wings on her back!" Chopper exclaimed once he saw her.
"Is that what angels are like?! She's like a pickled plum." Luffy stated bluntly.
"Umm..." Nami was about to talk but the woman cut her off.
"I am Amazon, the Heaven's Gate Inspector. Sightseeing? Or perhaps war?"
"I guess it's kind of like sightseeing.." Nami responded nervously.
"We wanna go to the sky islands! They're past this gate, right?" Luffy smiled eagerly.
"It doesn't matter either way. If you're going to the upper area you have to pay the entrance fee of one billion Extol per person. That is the law." Amazon stated.
"How much is one billion Extol in Berries..." Usopp mumbled to himself.
"About money... what if we don't have any?" Nami smirked as she tried to get out of it.
"You can pass. Or you don't have to pass. I am neither a gatekeeper nor a guard. I simply ask your intentions." Amazon stated.
I feel like there's some sort of catch.
"Then, let's go." Luffy stated.
I saw a claw come up and grab the side of the ship.
The ship started moving at a fast pace.
Everyone held on tightly as we were dragged somewhere.
We travelled on this weird strip of water that twisted and turned.
"God Land Skypiea?" Robin asked when she noticed a golden sign.
The ship shot up and landed on some water.
I looked at the sight in front of us.
"An island! A sky island!" Luffy yelled once he was it.
It was an amazing sight.
I never would've thought there was really an island in the sky.
Luffy jumped straight off the ship.
"You idiot!" Usopp dived after him only to face plant into the ground.
"You can stand here." Luffy continued to smile, "Are you okay, Usopp?"
"Is this island made of fluffy clouds?" Usopp looked at the ground in shock, "It's fluffy."
Everyone else started to slowly get off the ship.
I had gotten used to the thin air now.
Luffy ran off.
How is he so full of energy?
The journey here was exhausting.
~*~
We met a girl named Conis and her father.
They seemed really welcoming though but it felt like something was off.
Nami went off to have fun with the waver that Luffy had almost drowned on as they led us to their house.
Sanji grabbed and jar and scooped a bit out.
I watched as he had a coughing fit.
"What's wrong?"
"Well, I had a little taste of this stuff. It was intense. It made my tongue numb."
"Oh. It's out of date." The man realised.
Sanji yelled angrily and smashed the jar on the floor.
I laughed silently to myself.
Zoro made himself comfortable on the sofa.
I followed him, plopping myself down on his lap.
The man grumbled in response and opened his eyes to look at me.
"I'm tired." I stated as I curled up against him and took in his warmth.
"Same." Zoro sighed and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closer.
Robin started having a conversations with Conis but I zoned most of it out as I closed my eyes and rested my head on Zoro's muscular shoulder.
He hummed quietly, resting his head against mine.
His warm breath hit my skin and I felt his chest rise and fall rhythmically.
Before I knew it, I had been lulled to sleep.
~*~
I blinked sleepily as I took in my surroundings.
They were still talking.
My thoughts were cut off when Luffy shoved a forkful of food into my mouth.
I coughed slightly but managed to swallow it.
Zoro gently patted my back and then turned to Luffy with a scowl, "Be careful, idiot!"
He snatched the fork off Luffy and scooped food onto it before bringing it up to my lips.
I opened my mouth and let him feed me.
I already knew my cheeks were red.
This is kinda embarrassing. At least no one's looking.
Or so I thought...
I noticed Robin smirking at me.
My cheeks got hotter.
Robin laughed lightly and looked away.
I listened to them talk as Luffy and Zoro kept fighting over the fork quietly.
"Here in Skypiea, there's a place that we're never to step foot in no matter what." Conis started.
"Never to step foot in? Why's that?" Usopp asked curiously.
Eventually, I got fed up of them and snatched the fork away.
I picked up a plate and began to eat.
"It's a sacred ground."
"Sacred ground?" Robin repeated.
I could see Luffy pouting in my peripheral vision.
My eyes softened at his expression.
He's so cute. It's not fair.
"We call that place Upper Yard, the land where God lives."
God? This must be a dream.
Or someone is a self-proclaimed God.
I stabbed a piece of meat with the fork and placed it in Luffy's mouth.
He smiled and chewed the meat happily.
Nami hadn't come back yet.
Do she get in trouble? She's pretty weak too...
"What happens if you go into the Upper Yard?" I asked curiously.
Conis looked uneasy at the question, "The person cannot come back alive. I'm worried about Nami."
Sanji gasped and started yelling for Nami.
I doubt she could hear him from wherever she is.
We decided to go and search for Nami.
She could be anywhere after all.
And knowing her, she has got in trouble.
~*~
An army of people with wings crawled on the ground towards us.
I stared at them with a 'what the fuck' expression on my face.
They stood up and stopped in front of us.
"So you're the eight illegal entrants who came from the Blue Sea?!" The person who I assumed was the commander spoke.
Ah we didn't pay the entrance fee so we are considered here illegally.
I knew there was a catch.
This is just great...
"I'll humbly bring Heaven's Judgement upon you!"
Luffy tilted his head, "Illegal entry? What's that?"
I mentally facepalmed at him.
"Isn't this some sort of mistake? They're not bad people." Conis' dad started to panic.
Sanji raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean by illegal entry?"
"It's true we didn't pay the entrance fee..." Robin trailed off.
"But that old lady said we could still pass without paying, didn't she?" Usopp asked.
"It's no use. Please stop making excuses and admit it. However, there's no need to get panicked yet. Illegal entry is only an eleventh degree crime."
We've been led into a trap.
"Once you accept your punishment you can become legal tourists on the spot."
That seems to easy.
"Please pay ten time the entrance fee." The man demanded.
"If we didn't pay it the first time, what makes you think we'll pay it the second time?" I stated.
This is getting nowhere.
"How much is one Extol in Berries?" Usopp asked.
"Ten thousand Extol is one Berry."
What the hell?
"That's too expensive! Do you know how much rice we could buy with that?! We risked our lives to get up here. Why do we have to pay that much just to enter?!" Sanji ranted angrily, "We can't agree to that."
"As soon as the wind changes we'll go on an adventure.. I mean look for Nami." Luffy smiled eagerly.
We all knew he wanted to go on an adventure.
I watched as Usopp tried to talk Luffy out of going on an adventure.
"Your plan isn't going to work." I stated after watching him for a few minutes.
Usopp stiffened and smiled nervously, "Plan? What plan?"
I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Why won't it work?" Usopp asked in annoyance when he realised I already knew he was trying to talk Luffy out of going on an adventure.
"Luffy's too stubborn and besides.. he'd take any opportunity to go on an adventure." I explained.
Usopp slumped in defeat.
"What are you blabbering about?" The man asked us, "Come to think of it, it seems one person is missing. In addition to illegal entry, now there's suspicion of fleeing."
"Hold on a second! She'll be back soon and then we'll pay the entire amount."
Like that'll work.
Nami wouldn't even give away the smallest amount of money.
There was no way in hell she was paying that.
"We should all wait here." Usopp stated.
Usopp and walked away.
"N/n.....!!" Luffy whined, flinging his arms around my neck, "Let's go on an adventure."
He smiled cutely as he tried to convince me.
I smiled back, "Later. We're waiting for Nami to come back."
Luffy pouted slightly but accepted the answer.
I'm sure if anyone else said that he'd refuse.
I ruffled his hair softly which made him smile and lean into my touch.
Usopp dragged Luffy off and managed to keep his busy by fishing.
They then caught a huge fish.
The man told us it was a rare fish and our crimes would be increased.
This is just getting worse and worse.
Luffy tried to eat the fish but I quickly grabbed him and held his body against mine.
He didn't even bother struggling and just relaxed, nuzzling his cheek against mine.
Zoro sighed, "I kept quiet and listened to all your nonsense about crimes and such, but if you don't cut it out..."
Usopp quickly jumped in front of Zoro to stop him from doing anything rash.
"His speech and behaviour just now are unmistakably extortion. That's a seventh degree crime."
Usopp tried to smooth over the situation again.
"That's not true!" Chopper pointed his hoof at the man angrily, "Aren't you making everything we do into crimes?!"
Usopp gasped and tried to shut Chopper up.
This was chaotic.
I looked to the side and saw Sanji and Robin relaxing while drinking tea.
Of course...
Nami came flying in on her waver and knocked the man out.
"Because they demanded such an unreasonably high fee, I unintentionally..." Nami was mumbling to herself about something.
The men all surrounded their Captain.
Conis told us that we just committed another crime and the punishment was the death sentence.
"It's a punishment where you, together with your ship, are put on a cloud that you can't escape from, and you keep wandering until you become bones." Conis explained.
"Is that why that old ship fell from the sky?" I wondered aloud, "That makes sense."
~*~
The rest of the crew stayed on the ship while Usopp, Sanji, Luffy and I went back to Conis' house to get some supplies.
I noticed Conis had disappeared when we had arrived back to the house.
That's suspicious. Can we really trust them at this point?
I know they've done all this stuff for us but everyone here will see us as law breakers.
Usopp talked to himself as he gathered supplies to repair the ship.
Sanji was arranging lunch boxes while occasionally swatting Luffy's hand away so he didn't damage his arrangement.
Luffy was eating, of course.
I sat next to Luffy and watched as he just shoved food in his mouth.
He tried to offer me some but I rejected it.
I'm not really hungry. There's no way I'd be able to eat as much as him.
I'm pretty sure I'd explode.
My gaze drifted to the balcony as I started at our ship.
I turned away to try and listen to the conversation they were having. It wasn't anything interesting.
Standing up, I made my way onto the balcony and stared out at the sea.
The ship suddenly started moving backwards.
My eyes widened as I called for the others.
There's no way they'd leave us and they're moving backwards.
My eyes shifted to Conis as I noticed her guilty expression.
We have to go after them.
~*~
"So, they're saying if we want our friends and ship back we just have to come in from the front." Sanji lit a cigarette.
"In Upper Yard, four friends strong beyond imagination await you." Pagaya told us.
"Oh, then it's easy. To put it simply, all we have to do is beat up those priests, right?" Luffy was looking down which made a shadow cover the upper half of his face.
"You're so simpleminded." Usopp commented.
As soon as we had finished talking, Luffy left.
We all noticed and went after him.
"Where are you wandering off to all of a sudden?" Sanji called after him.
"We'll only burden Conis and the old guy if we stay here." Luffy stated.
"Yeah, but where are we going?"
"Isn't it obvious? The sacrificial altar."
"How are you planning to get there?"
Luffy paused.
Sanji glared at him, "Stop thinking!"
"We just need to swipe one of those ships and take the Milky Road." Luffy stated.
"Do you see any ships we can swipe?!" Sanji sighed in exasperation.
"What a pain." Luffy sighed when he realised we had no idea how to get there.
We all looked up when Conis approached us.
"My father asked me to help you on your way to the sacrificial altar..."
"Oh he did?" Usopp grinned.
"I'll accompany you to the Angel Island docks. Once there, I'll prepare an appropriate boat for you."
"You're so perfect unlike a certain scatterbrained I know." Usopp smiled.
"That's for sure." Luffy agreed.
"I was referring to you!" Usopp yelled in response.
I laughed as I looked at Usopp's annoyed facial expression.
"Let's go." Luffy grinned, grabbing my hand and following Conis.
He hummed happily and swung our hands back and forth.
There was a cheerful smile on his face. He's so cute.
We walked up a million stairs before finally reaching the town.
"I'm so excited to go to Upper Yard." Luffy beamed.
"You could die, you know..." Conis replied.
"Yeah. Everyone dies sometime."
When we reached town everyone glared at us or backed away.
"All the angels are avoiding me." Sanji frowned as he spoke to himself.
Of course that's what he's thinking about...
I tried my best to avoid all the judgemental stares.
They were making me uncomfortable.
Luffy squeezed my hand gently.
I looked at him and saw he was smiling up at me in reassurance.
Returning the smile, I squeezed his hand back.
Conis led us to the docks.
"There are all kinds of boats anchored here." She began to talk about some different types.
Luffy gushed over the cool looking boats.
"C'mon." I tugged Luffy's hand slightly to pull his along as Conis led us to our boat.
She stopped in front of a boat, "The crow."
We all stared at it silently.
It was hideous.
"It's not fast like a waver but it does have two breath dials on board! Please feel free to use it." Conis smiled.
"No. I'm not going to." Luffy stated, his face blank.
I could tell he was disappointed.
"I prefer that one instead." Luffy pointed at the one he was gushing over earlier.
"You don't like it.. I'm sorry." Conis smiled awkwardly.
Sanji got angry and whacked Luffy over the head.
I glared at Sanji and he shivered before backing away from Luffy.
"Sorry." I told Conis.
"No, it's okay." She smiled softly.
"My head." Luffy pouted as he held the spot Sanji hit.
I threw a glare at Sanji and then wrapped my arm around Luffy.
He leaned into me and rested his head against my shoulder.
"Your exit is gate number two. It will lead you to the giant Milky Road, which connects to Upper Yard." Conis explained, pointing at the gate, "You simply need to take that."
"Conis. Why've your been shaking ever since we left your house?" Luffy asked seriously.
So he noticed too?
Her eyes widened in shock.
"Does it seem that way?"
"Yeah. It's like you're afraid of something..."
So she sent our friends away because she's afraid.
I guess she'd get punished too if they knew she was helping us.
"Conis! You're worried about us. That's so touching." Sanji grinned.
"Are you going to be all right? You're helping us out of here so you're basically accomplices."
Conis avoided eye contact, "I'm.. it's not what you think. It's strange, isn't it? Explaining the route to your ordeal, guiding you here myself... It's like I want to lead you there despite saying how terrifying it is.."
"Stop it! Don't say anything foolish!"
We turned to see the people were looking at us in fear.
Conis fell onto her knees, her whole body was trembling.
"Could you run away? I'm sorry!" She looked down as tears filled her eyes, "I was the one shoe called the Super-Express Lobster!"
"The thing that took Nami and the others?! You called it?!" Sanji was shocked.
"While you weren't on board, I lied to them about a current that leads to Cloud End and had them raise the anchor." Conis explained, "That was the signal for the Super-Express Lobster."
"Stop it! Do you realise what you're saying!"
"Stop her!"
"This is our citizens duty..." Conis bit her lips as tears fell down her cheeks.
"Are you serious?" Usopp frowned.
"Don't be stupid! You didn't have any choice, right?!" Luffy furrowed his brows.
She nodded.
"Then why are you telling us?! Your life is in danger."
"Judgement is coming."
The sky suddenly became bright.
I shielded my eyes.
A huge beam of something came shooting down.
I quickly sprung into to action and shoved Conis out of the way.
It struck the ground where we were both just stood.
Was that lightning?
When I opened my eyes, Conis was gone.
~*~
"Choose an ordeal!"
"So, what do we do?" Usopp asked nervously.
"Let's go with Ball." Luffy decided with no hesitation.
"Why's that, Luffy?"
"It sounds fun!"
"That's your reason!? These are ordeals. They're not gonna be fun." Usopp complained, "Ball is the only one that doesn't sound too violent. But what if it's a trick."
Usopp trembled and stayed mumbling to himself.
"Okay, we'll go with Luffy's decision." Usopp finally decided.
We went into the tunnel.
I couldn't see anything.
There was a light appearing at the end of the tunnel.
We made it out and fell straight off a cliff.
Usopp let out a loud scream.
The boat went crashing into the water.
I held the edge tightly as I tried not to fall.
Luffy hooked his arm around my waist so I wouldn't fall.
Tears ran down Usopp's cheeks when we had landed safely, "I seriously thought we were gonna fall ten thousand meters..."
Luffy laughed.
Sanji growled, "It's all because you said misleading stuff, Luffy!"
"That was scary! I thought I was gonna die." Luffy asked.
"What is this place?" Sanji asked when we finally observed our surroundings.
There were lots of balls floating.
"They're small island cloud balls..." Sanji stated.
"Awesome! It's like big snow." Luffy grinned.
Luffy reached out to touch one of them.
I grabbed his hand and pulled him into my lap, making him unable to move.
"Stop that. You don't know what will happen if you touch them." I scolded him.
Luffy pouted at me.
I averted my gaze as my cheeks grew red.
"Thats right." Usopp agreed before accidentally touching one.
It exploded.
I quickly shielded Luffy's body with mine.
It set off a chain reaction and some of the other ones around us exploded.
"What's the deal with these balls?!" Usopp screamed, his hair all upright from the explosion.
"There's no telling what will come out. These clouds are called surprise clouds." One of the surprise clouds lowered down in front of us and there was a person sat on top of it.
I raised an eyebrow at them, "Who are you?"
"Thank you for choosing my ball ordeal."
"Are you gonna answer the question or...?"
The person laughed creepily.
"Who is this dumpling freak?" Sanji asked rudely.
I almost laughed.
"Answer the question." I glared at the weird humpty dumpty looking man.
He shivered slightly and stopped dancing around and making weird noises, "You should worry about yourselves.
"Where's Nami?"
"Oh you mean the sacrifices? They'll be dead soon."
Sanji grit his teeth angrily and glared at the man build like a boulder.
"You need to beat me to continue ahead." He jumped off the surprise cloud and seemed to float down towards us.
"Luffy! Do something." Usopp hid behind us.
Luffy went to punch the man but he dodged and whacked Luffy in the face.
Luffy went flying back and crashed into a tree.
That looked super painful.
I turned my glare to the strange man and shot fire at him.
He screamed as I set his clothes on fire.
He quickly put it out and had a surprised expression.
Sanji went to kick him but the man dodged and threw Sanji.
I jumped back towards the other before the fat man could hit me.
"My name is Satori. I am one of the priests of the almighty God Eneru! I own the vearth in this illusion forest."
"Illusion forest?" Luffy asked.
"Yes. This forest and your boat will be lost in its illusion."
The boat took off and started to go out of sight.
The man mocked us with his girly ass voice.
"Welcome to the Sacred Ground of the Upper Yard. The illusion forest ball ordeal, with a ten percentage survival rate!"
~*~
We managed to defeat him but Luffy's body was covered with cuts and scratches, it looked painful.
"N/nnnnn... my body hurtsss." Luffy whined, "Carry me."
He made grabby arms at me and stared up at me cutely.
I wanted to say no because I didn't want to carry someone.
But he looks so sad and in pain so of course I gave in.
If it was anyone else I would've refused.
"C'mon here.." I cooed reaching towards him.
Luffy grinned and ran into my arms.
I pulled him up and held him on my hip.
Luffy nuzzled his face into my neck and let out a sigh of contentment as he hugged me tightly.
"Carry me instead, Y/n!!" Sanji yelled with hearts in his eyes.
"No." I deadpanned.
"Damn that bastard.." I could faintly hear Sanji muttering curses to himself.
"No fair.. I'm tired." Usopp complained.
Usopp shot a hook out and managed to get back our boat before it was out of sight.
He didn't really think it through and we were all catapulted into the boat.
At least we're heading in the right direction now.
My body had small cuts and scratched and it hurt but I'd survive.
I got comfortable against the edge of the boat.
Luffy came over a few seconds later and plopped himself into my lap.
He sat in between my legs and leaned his back against my chest comfortably.
I could see Sanji glaring at Luffy and he was probably ranting angrily to himself in his head.
I wrapped my arms around Luffy's waist and rested my head on his, burying my face into his soft, black hair.
Luffy and Usopp were talking while Sanji drove.
I was tired so I decided to sleep.
Luffy must've noticed I was nodding off as he started talking quieter.
I curled my body around Luffy's and gave in to the urge to sleep.
~*~
We entered an area with a bunch of skulls.
I heard Sanji talking about this being another ordeal.
Sitting up, I tiredly rubbed my eyes and looked around.
"You're awake." Luffy beamed and turned to hug me tightly.
"Ah! Here they come!" Usopp screamed as something came zooming towards us.
These dudes flew past us and then did a double take. I guess they're not looking for us.
They shot at us as they disappeared into the distance.
Luffy stood up and breathed in deeply, "Gum gum balloon."
The blast bounced off him and blew up.
"That guy's the masked guerrilla that we saw on the White Sea!" Sanji told us.
"They're scary! Sky islands are scary!" Usopp cried, curling up into a ball.
"If you don't want to die, go back to the Blue Sea immediately! If you've got any funny ideas about doing something on this island... we'll eliminate you along with Eneru."
Are they after Eneru? So they're not working for him.
"So they're trying to kill Eneru?" Sanji stated the obvious.
"Let's leave, Luffy." Usopp begged.
"What'd you say, you dirtbag?! C'mon! I'll beat you up." Luffy said angrily, ignoring Usopp.
"Stop it." Usopp clung to Luffy's legs to stop him from jumping off the boat.
I bonked Luffy's head lightly, "Stop that."
"But.."
I cut him off, "No."
Luffy sat down and sulked like a child. He crossed his arms and pouted.
"How did you do that?!" Usopp gasped, "Teach me! You're amazing!"
"I said to go back. Whether or not you have the ability to go back is another story." The man told us as he left.
Usopp sighed in relief when they had left, "What's with this island?!"
"Let's go on ahead." Sanji stated.
"Well actually, my can't go into the jungle disease is acting up."
"I'm hungry." Luffy complained when he had stopped sulking.
"You're always hungry." I replied.
The boat suddenly tipped downwards and we went down this spiral.
Usopp yelled in surprise.
Luffy laughed cheerfully.
We went through some loops and sharp corners.
"Dizzy!" Usopp slumped down on the floor.
"This is fun."
"It's takes ages to get the to altar." I finally complained.
I was getting bored of this.
"Yeah and I'm hungry." Luffy added.
He just wanted an excuse to complain.
We started going up a big tree.
The sun was starting to set now.
Luffy cheered as we went quickly down the hill.
"There's something there." Sanji said as he looked down at some blobs.
"Priests?"
"No, they're sky sharks."
"No!" Usopp yelled as he screamed in fear, "They're huge! We're gonna be swallowed."
"Gum gum gatling." Luffy beat them all up before we landed on the water below.
The water all splashed up and we got wet.
"There it is! The Going Merry! That's the altar." Luffy cheered.
Finally.
"Nami! Robin! Sorry for making you wait!" Sanji waved his arms around and had hearts in his eyes as he stared at them, "I've overcome the love ordeal to come here!"
"Were you scared?! Now that Captain Usopp is here, you'll be safe." Usopp lied.
We got off the boat when we reached the altar.
~*~
"The mast is gone." Usopp stared blankly at where is used to be.
Chopper frowned, "Usopp... I'm sorry. I fought really hard...but a lot of things got burned."
"Are your wounds okay?" Usopp smiled, "I'm glad it wasn't you who got burned."
Chopper looked shocked he didn't get yelled at as he shed a few tears.
"Where did the priest go? Did you beat him?" I asked Chopper.
"I used the whistle. The sky knight came to rescue me." Chopper replied.
"Oh. Where's that weird old guy?" Luffy asked, suddenly interested in the conversation.
He lead us to him and we saw him unconscious.
Chopper had obviously treated his wounds.
Luffy crouched beside him as the others came in.
"So he fought this hard, even though he gave us this whistle for free."
"If it wasn't for the sky knight, both the ship and I wouldn't have survived." Chopper frowned at the thought.
I smiled and pat his head.
Chopper looked up at me with a surprised expression.
"It's not your fault. Don't worry about it." I tried to comfort him.
Chopper smiled brightly.
"Let's barbecue these sky sharks!" Luffy cheered.
And he's thinking about food again.
Sanji agreed and started preparing the meat while I lit the fire.
"Thanks, y/n." Sanji sent me a grateful smile when he realised I had lit the fire for him.

A/n I don't really do much writing or detail when it comes to fight scenes so I hope that doesn't disappoint you. Just lots of fluff. I will drown you in fluff and you will enjoy it. That's a threat.
