Laurence's pov

I stared at the wyvern and it growled at me. These are mystical creatures. What are they doing here? "It's okay, I am not here for a fight." I said standing strait. I lookef at the wyvern but then another came from behind it. "Ondbfgctsp!" The wyverns I guess were talking to each other and then there was a loud explosion and rocks went flying. I was knocked back and the wyverns growled.

"Haha! Take them." I deep voice said and I looked up and frowned. Standing in front of me was the most dangerous pirate in Ru'aun's seas. He mostly stays in O'khasis' sea so why is he here...maybe for the wyverns. I started to push myself off the ground when he looked at me. "What shall we do with 'em Captain?" One of the pirates asked and he looked at me.

"Long time no see Laurence." The pirate captain said with a smirk. I frowned at him and growled "Zane." This was the youngest prince of O'khasis. The first prince Garroth is now ruling over O'khasis. I growled as I started to stand up. The wyverns were in attack position and I reached for my sword. "Kill him and take the the wyverns." Zane said and I jumped off the ground.

"You'll have to get through me first." I said and grabbed my sword. I stood in fron of the wyverns and readied myself to be attacked. The pirated ran at me and there was at least 15 but I fought them all without breaking a sweat. Then, Zane was about to stab the leader of the wyverns. Everything froze and I jumped in front of Zane's sword. "Ahh!" I yelled out and my breath hitched.

"Ahgdyeueod!" The wyvern roared and hit Zane with its wing. The wyvern chased the rest of the pirates along with Zane out of the cave and I laid on the ground holding my stomach. The wyvern looked at me and I decided to call it Ungrth. I reached out to it and pet its scales. I slowly closed my eyes and the wyvern roared loudly. I don't remember what happened after that all I remember was waking up on my ship.

"Aphmau?" I asked and reached up and touched her face. "Laurence! Stay with us Laurence!" She yelled and then looked at me in the face. "Hold still Laurence." Aphmau said and then she touched the wound on my stomach. I started to glow and I felt the wound close. "Oww." I grumbled and slowly sat up. "Laurence!" Aphmau yelled and hugged me. I noticed she had legs again.

"Has it been a week?" I asked and Aphmau nodded. "Yeah, we thought you were dead." I hugged Aphmau back and then I noticed somethingheavy on my lap. I looked down and saw that wyvern I was protecting was laying next to me with his head on my lap. "What is this wyvern doing here?" I asked and Aphmau petted the wyverns head. "He refused to leave your side after what happened." Aphmau said.

"Don't worry, he told us what happened and...thank you Laurence for protecting him..he said that when you wake up I was to tell you that he owes you his life." I smiled at the wyvern and nodded. "Then I will call him Ungrth. Oh...how did I heal so fast?" I asked and Aphmau looked away for a minute and said "My mother was actually part of the Devine Warriors."
