Aphmau's pov

Laurence kissed me and I was blushing like crazy. He pulled away from me and I stood shocked. "Wh-wh." I kept stuttering and Laurence put his hand on my cheek. "I love you Aphmau." Laurence said. His cheeks were tinged pink and the ocean breeze blew through his hair and it danced in the wind. I couldn't take my eyes off him and when his eyes met mine I blushed.

I looked away and asked quietly "Why did you do that?" Laurence smiled and pulled my chin up so I was looking into his ice colored eyes. "Because I love you." He confessed again and I felt embarrassed. I just wanted to find a hole and hide away forever. "How can you love someone you just met?" I asked. "I know this might sound a little stupid and corny but I think fate brought us together."

Laurence looked really confident and then there was the sound of grass crunching beneath someones feet. "I'm sorry to break up your sweet moment but I don't think I want you to escape so easily." A man said and I looked over at the man. He had red eyed that pierced through you and made shivers go down your spine. "Get ready to die." The man said as he pulled out his sword.

Laurence glared at the man and reached for his sword only to find that he didn't have it anymore. "Dang!" Laurence mumbled irritated. "Heh, I'll make this quick." The man said as he ran at Laurence with his sword. Laurence dodged the attacks but was growing weak. Laurence stumbled a few times causing him to run into a tree or lose his footing.

You can do it Laurence! I believe in you! I watched as the man with red eyes threw more and more attacks but Laurence still dodged. "Run Aphmau!" Laurence yelled and then suddenly I saw the red eyed man in front of me. My heart was racing and I wanted to run but I couldn't. The man was about to grab me until I heard "Catch!" A sword flew through the air and Laurence caught it.

I looked behind me into the water and saw Laurence's ship. A blue haired man was standing on the ships railing with a big smirk on his face as Laurence caught the sword. Laurence attacked the man with red eyes and sparks flew through the air. "Quickly!" The man with blue hair yelled to Laurence and I. Laurence ran up to me and picked me up and threw me over his shoulder,

"Ah! L-let me down!" I yelled uneasy. "Don't struggle or I'll drop you." Laurence said calmly as he ran to the boat. I gripped the back of his shirt and he ran into the water. "Wait Laurence!" I yelled but as soon as my feet touched the water my legs were gone and my purple tail was back. "Ah! I can't see." Laurence said trying to look around my tail.

"You can let me down now." I said and he gently put me in the water. "Where do you think you're going......pirate." The red eyed man asked with anger. "Are just going to run away? Yeah, run away and the children will be singing songs about the pirate that RAN AWAY!" I looked up at Laurence and his hand was shaking from anger. "Don't do it Laurence!" I heard another voice yell.

I looked back onto the shore and saw that orange haired girl. "Run Laurence! Go and never come back! If you do Vincent will kill you! Run my brother! Run!" She yelled and the man Vincent glared at the girl and Laurence looked pained from the heart. "Cadenza! Do not ever forget how much I love you!" Laurence yelled back to the girl Cadenza and she smiled sadly.

I was starting to swim away when I heard Cadenza yell out to me, "You take care of him you hear?" I turned around and smiled at her. Then, we were off. Laurence helped me up onto the boat and I sat on the deck waiting for my tail to dry.......I think my heart is in captivation.
