Aphmau's pov

I followed behind Katelyn and I heard her say "I'm sorry Aphmau....I didn't mean to make you cry." That was when I realized that I was crying and I looked down as I swam. "You can't stop what I'm about to do Katelyn." I said and Katelyn sighed. I could be stubborn sometimes and Katelyn knows whenever I make up my mind I will not change it.

"Aphmau please.....I came back to get you to get you away from danger not swim right into it." Katelyn said in a worried tone. "Let me do this Katelyn. I will break this curse from Laurence and I will stop this.....I don't want anyone to die." I heard Katelyn sigh again but she didn't say anything. After a bit of silence I finally asked "Do you happen to know where this mermaid is that cursed Laurence?"

I heard Katelyn chuckle but then she said "Yeah....she lives in the darkest part of the sea...she's very dangerous Aphmau." I then noticed we weren't heading back home but the sea was starting to get darker around us. "Katelyn-" Before I could say anything Katelyn turned around with tears in her eyes and she said "This is as far as I take you Aphmau....I know you won't change your mind so here....I brought you half way."

I hugged Katelyn and thanked her as I slowly swam into the darkness. I couldn't see that great but I was still able to go on. As I swam I could hear laughter. "Hahaha! You fell right into my trap." The woman's voice echoed and it made me jump. "You! Break Laurence's curse!" I yelled knowing this was the one who did that to Laurence not to mention killing innocent people.

"How are you going to defeat me? I have him under control and there is no way to stop me." The woman said and before I knew it I saw a pair of red eyes and saw something approach from the darkness. I froze when I saw Laurence in front of me. His eyes were red and he had the black and white armor not to mention a.....green tail! "L-Laurence! What did that witch do to you!?" (No offence Lucinda. Kehe)

Laurence didn't look like himself. From what I've seen from before, Laurence had some control over his actions but now....he doesn't look himself. "Laurence....you...have a tail." I said and then I felt something sharp slide along my cheek. Laurence's sword was in front of my face and it cut my skin. "Stop Laurence!" I yelled and he slashed down at me and I dodged.

"Haha! This will be most entertaining." The woman said and I frowned. "Please stop this!" I yelled but didn't hear the woman speak. I kept dodging Laurence's attacks and tears were now in my eyes. "Laurence please." I whispered and Laurence was about to stab me but when I dodged I hit a wall and saw Laurence's sword in front of me. I closed my eyes ready to be stabbed when I heard sobs coming from in front of me.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Laurence's hand shaking and tears rolling down his face. "A-Aphmau." Laurence sobbed and his eyes were giant. "Aphmau...what is this? I don't want to kill you!" Laurence yelled out as sobs escaped his lips. I realized that he was fighting this and I felt tears roll down my cheeks. "Don't worry...I'm here for you Laurence."

I started to swim forward and felt the sharp pain of the sword on my stomach. I reached my arms out and hugged Laurence fading into darkness. "Aphmau no!"
