I looked down at the bag I was packing. I didn't know what I was supposed to feel. Happy? Angry?

"It's gonna be alright," I heard Silena's soothing voice, reassure me.

"They might be dead..." I let that thought of mine hang in the air for a few seconds. "It's been a thousand Chaos years...They can't be alive."

I heard someone grunt by the doorway and turned my attention there. I saw Luke leaning against the doorframe.

"You sure about that?" He directed the question at me.

"Yeah," I answered. But as soon as it came out of my mouth it felt as if I was telling a lie.

"it's been a thousand Chaos years not Earth years."

Silena suddenly spoke up. "So you mean--" 

"Yup," Luke nodded. "They're still alive."

I looked down. This is gonna be bad...

"How many Earth years has it been?" I asked.

"About a year."

So...that means I've only been gone for a year...

"Hey," I felt Silena's arm around my shoulders."It's okay, Sis. I'm here for you."

I gave her a sly smile.

"It's gonna be fine." I told myself, hoping I could believe it. "Nothing bad will happen."

Without further ado.....

A continuation.

The other soldiers and I met up outside Lord Chaos' Office/ Throne Room...I hve no idea which is which because sometimes it's an office sometimes it's a throne room. You can never tell.

"Are you ready?" Silena gripped my hand.

" 'Course I am." I lied.

"Liar..." Luke muttered.

"Don't be so hard on her, Lukey." Bianca teased.

"Lukey, dear. " Ethan joined in saying it in a very bad British accent. "Will you please pass the salt?"

I resisted the urge to smile. The "Lukey" joke was due to an accident during Mission #3473.

"Looook," Luke started hoping to change the subject. "Piper's gonna smile."

They all turned there head to me and I couldn't help it, but I laughed.

"We miss your smile, Beauty Queen." Leo commented.

"Yes, you are a lot prettier when you smile." Calypso added.

"Are you ready guys?" Beckendorf asked everyone.

We nodded. 

"Are we supposed to use our code names?" Michael asked.

 "Yes." I confirmed.

Ethan, Castor and Lee groaned. They hated their code names. I mean who wouldn't if they were named that?

Zoe smirked. "You guys will be fine." She finally got rid of her"Old-timey speaking ways" as Leo likes to say it.

"Don't forget," Luke pointed out. "Imma still call you Constance."

"It's Constellation, Lukey." Bianca scolded. She and Zoe are the best of friends. So, they defend  and protect each other. They were like sisters "Plus, Constance is like an old woman's name..."

"Exactly." Luke answered back causing a lot of rolling eyes.

 That was when Lord Chaos entered in a blinding light. He opened up a blue portal.

"Jump in if you're ready." He told us. "You will appear inside the gods' throne room in Olympus. I have already informed them of your coming so there is nothing much to worry about."

"What about the cloaks?" I asked.

 "Not to worry, Piper. They will automatically appear when you go through the portal. So that when you arrive at Olympus you will already be wearing them and the code names...Beckendorf, will you please recite them."

"Of course, Lord Chaos." Beckendorf replied back walking in front of us.

"And please, just call me Chaos. Lord is too formal." He reminded us for the thousandth time.

"Sorry my Lord, but unfortunately...We cannot." Luke answered back, a mischievous smile etched across his face.

Chaos just sighed in defeat. "Just go on. I will meet you at that Camp. Good luck." He said before vanishing in a flash.

"Okay," Beckendorf started. "Alpha is Piper. You may call her Dove, being her original code name but, Alpha is much more preferred. Next, Luke, also known as Snatcher. Silena as Charm. Leo as Inferno. Calypso as Crystal. Me as Flames. Zoe as Constellation. Bianca as White Angel or just Angel for short. Ethan as Eyepatch but, Pirate is much more preferred. Le--"

"Hey!" Ethan complained. "Seriously? Can we just change my name to Balance or something?"

"No!" Everyone chorused, making Ethan grumble.

"Anyway," Beckendorf continued. "Where was I? Oh, right. Okay, um...Lee as Sunshine--"

"Dude!" Lee shouted out.

"Joke! Geez, can you not take a joke? Lee as Light but it is better if you call him Sunshine." Beckendorf continued on before Lee could protest once more."Michael as Aim. Lastly, Castor as Grapes."

"Why Grapes?" Castor groaned. "I'm not a round, purple fruit! I am a--"

"Okay," Michael cut him off before he could finish his speech.

"Shall we?" Leo gestured at the portal.

"You guys go on ahead." I told them. "I just need to take a few breaths."

"Whatever you say." Then Leo jumped in the portal, followed by Calypso and soon, I was the only one left behind.

"It's gonna be okay." I said, trying to convince myself that it was the truth. "Piper Mclean is dead...I am Alpha now. I'm stronger and better than the old me."

Then I jumped into the portal wondering what the Fates had in stored for me.
