A/N: I know South Korea doesn't allow civilians to have guns, but I'm a Kentucky person, so Hwa gets a gun haha
Seonghwa's pov
"Did the police also check everywhere inside? Even the garage?" I asked. Jongho was still wrapped up in the blanket as I held him.
"I hope so," Yeosang said. I furrowed my brows and looked over at him.
"You don't know for sure?"
"Not really, Hwa. We all just came outside when we heard their sirens," Wooyoung said. I sighed.
"Alright, well, I'm betting none of you own a gun, as you're celebrities, but I have one in my glove box. Jjong, you need to let me go for a bit, okay? I'll make sure they're gone," I said, gently patting his back. Jongho whined but let me go.
"Do any of you have your license?" I asked.
"Why?" Yeosang asked. I smiled softly at him and patted his shoulder.
"Because if you hear anything, I want whoever has their license to get you all the hell out of here, got it? Who can legally drive?" I asked again.
"I can, but that doesn't mean we'll leave you here, Seonghwa," Yunho said. I shook my head.
"You're still celebrities, boys. Don't risk your careers or lives for mine, got it?" I began leading them towards my car. I unlocked my glove box and grabbed my handgun. I turned its safety off, and nodded towards the car.
"Get in, and lock the doors. Keep the car on, and drive off if you hear anything, Yunho."
They all began to speak at once, trying to make me not go inside.
"First off, I'm just doing a walkthrough to make sure no one is inside. Second, you have to remember I am older than all of you. I don't like playing the age card, not at all, but I am the oldest one here. Please, do what I said if it comes to it, Yunho."
"Hyung-"
"Get in the car, Woo." I began, "I'm gonna go walk inside."
I looked behind myself to make sure they were all in the car, and that it was on, then walked up the dirt path to their home.
Once outside the front door, I took off my combat boots to be more silent as I walked around inside. I slowly twisted the doorknob with my left hand, and pushed the door open quietly.
I kept my handgun level to my chest and my pointer finger on its trigger as I walked through the left side of the house first, where the kitchen and living room was.
No one was there, so I continued through all of the rooms, only pausing once I made it to Yeosang and Wooyoung's room. It was the last room to check.
Their closet door was pulled closed, which wouldn't be unusual for anyone else to have their closet closed, but I know Yeosang hates any doors of their room closed.
Yeosang hates being unable to see everything, so for the closet to be closed was worrisome.
I walked up to the closet and opened the left door quickly, my gun aiming inside it.
Sat on the floor of the closet was a man who held his hands up in surrender.
"Keep your hands on the back of your head, and get out of this closet," I demanded. The man put both hands on his head and slowly stood up. As he stepped out, and I stepped back enough to let him, his right arm began to drop from the air.
I shot the area beside him once, then aimed back to his forehead.
"Next one hits you." I kept my gun pressed to the side of his head as I felt around for a weapon on him. I found a few small kitchen knives and a large carving knife on him.
I pocketed his knives, then pulled out my cell phone to call the police back.
"119, what is your emergency?"
"A break-in happened at 72 xxxx street, and the police left a few minutes ago. I searched the house myself, found the intruder, and now I have him at gun point, so send the police back to get him," I said, my eyes staying on the man who was now backed against a wall with his arms straight above his head.
"They'll be there in five minutes."
"Why did you choose this house?" I questioned, my gun still pointed at his forehead. The man gave a vile grin before spitting in my face.
"Real classy, bastard. A little spit isn't anything," I scoffed, not moving even slightly as the saliva dripped down my face.
"Sir, we are the police. Please lower your weapon, and step away," a new voice sounded from behind me. I backed up, and lowered my pistol a bit, but still kept the safety off of my gun.
An officer pulled the man away from the wall and cuffed his hands behind his back.
"Before you leave, here are the weapons I took from him," I said, pulling all of the weaponry I took out of my pocket and giving them to the authorities.
The officer who collected the knives with gloved hands looked shocked at her partner.
"Lee, you've got Heartless in your handcuffs," she exclaimed. Even I was shocked as the pair of police officers dragged the serial killer out of the house.
Heartless is the name Seoul gave to its most wanted serial killer, who lived up to the name.
The only connections found amongst all of the dozen bodies found was that they were heartless, and had numerous stab wounds to their corpses. Only one knife had been found, and its design was customized alike with the ones I took.
I followed them outside and watched as they put Heartless in the backseat, reading out the Miranda rights.
I glanced around outside and saw that Yunho had done as I asked. I smiled and dialed Yeosang's number.
"Hwa Hyung, what happened?" Yeosang asked. I heard as he fumbled with his phone to put it on speakerphone.
"You and Woo had Heartless hiding in your closet. If drunk you hadn't went on a rant about my closet and bedroom door being closed, I wouldn't have checked it. You're safe to come back," I said. I heard as the car was turned on and began rumbling lowly.
"What happened? Are you okay?" Wooyoung asked.
"Heartless was hiding in your closet, and I found him. That shot you heard was mine, so I'm okay. I didn't really pay too much attention to where I shot, but I promise I'll handle the fees to fix it.
"Anyway, I called the cops back, and they took him away. The knives he had matched in the designs of their handles with the one left behind at the last murder.
"When you have the time, I want all of you to get your gun license. I know I won't be able to be around you all of the time, so it's best if you also know self defense like this." I said.
"I don't think I'd be able to shoot well, Hyung. I have hand tremors," Yeosang said.
"Even still, Sangie. You don't have to have the best aim to still cause damage," I responded. I looked down the road and still didn't see my car.
"Damn, Yunho, how far did y'all go?" I asked, laughing softly.
"We, uh, might be a bit lost right now, Seonghwa Hyung," Yunho said, sounding a bit embarrassed.
"Have whoever is in the front seat use google maps or my car's gps. You can put your address in, and it'll show you the way," I said.
A while of talking(and Yunho being scolded by Hongjoong for getting them lost), I could see my black car coming closer. I turned the safety of my gun back on and slid it into my front pocket.
I smiled widely that they were all okay and walked closer to my car once it was parked. The seven men began to step out before my gaze landed on the youngest- who still held the blanket tightly around himself.
His red and bloodshot eyes met mine. A small smile mixed with a grimace appeared on his face as I, also, felt sharp aches throughout my body. As the pain lessened, Jongho rushed towards me.
I opened my arms and held him closely. Jongho wrapped his arms around my waist, letting go of his death grip on the blanket.
As we embraced, another car pulled into the driveway and parked behind mine. I dropped one arm from around Jongho to my front pocket as two men quickly got out.
"Why didn't you call us sooner?!" One exclaimed. The six celebrities nearest to the cars looked at them worriedly.
"They're our managers, Hwa Hyung. Don't shoot at them," Jongho mumbled, reaching for my right arm to put it back around himself. I put my arm back around his shoulders and hugged him again.
The pair of managers continued to worriedly exclaim at them until I cut in.
"Sir, with all due respect, they were scared, yet they did do the right thing. They called the police first, then called Hongjoong to let him know what was happening here. They let you know, and are safe, so that should be all that matters, right?"
"You're right; all that matters is that they're okay. Are any of you hurt?" The second man asked. The seven celebrities shook their heads.
"Jongho's window is shattered, though," Yunho said. The first manager sighed and nodded before pulling out his wallet.
"Here's the company card, so go get hotel rooms for a few nights until we can get it replaced." He handed the credit card to Hongjoong.
"You're Seonghwa, right? You're their soulmate?" The second manager asked. I nodded.
"Thank you for protecting them, Seonghwa. Don't worry about the cost of whatever you shot; KQ will handle it." He thanked me.
"I'd do it again- anytime they need me to, I'll protect them. Could you schedule some gun training and safety courses for them all? Even if they won't be able to carry a gun into most places, knowing how to use one will be beneficial to them all," I asked. The manager nodded.
"We'll talk with the CEO. Did Yeosang let you know our answer?" The first manager asked. I looked over at the raven-haired man confusedly, then shook my head.
"You can come in for a private audition on February 13th. We'd like to work with you," the second said. My eyes widened as my jaw dropped slightly.
"You'd what?"
