"He'll be here soon." Jungkook exhaled quietly to himself.
He had texted Taehyung, and only Taehyung, in the end about feeling sick. Taehyung immediately wanted to bring some medicine but Jungkook said it was fine and he could just sleep it off.
Taehyung hastily declined and mentioned he'd be by the younger's hotel room within the hour. Meaning within fifteen minutes till the next hour, Taehyung would arrive soon.
He was laying on his bed with his face in his pillow, totally not attempting to stop breathing or anything.
There was a loud banging on his door and he thought about not answering it. It was quiet before more bangs began to follow, these more aggressive than the ones before. Jungkook actually worried there might be a serial killer at the door so he cautiously walked to the door and cracked it open. But instead of a huge knife wielding serial killer, he saw a short pink haired man with a face more terrifying than a psychotic killer.
He tried to shut the door but somehow the smaller body had a lot more strength then he thought, and he pushed the door open before slamming it shut.
His hands rested on his hips as he tapped his foot, a plastic bag hung from his hand. He eyed the shirtless boy who was hugging himself to cover his naked chest.
"What the hell?" Jimin snarled.
"What?" Jungkook mumbled as he walked towards the couch in the hotel.
Jimin's feet followed after him quickly and he pulled Jungkook by the ear down to his level.
"Why didn't you tell me?!"
"Ow! Don't scream in my ear!" Jungkook jerked his ear away from Jimin.
"You should've come to us if you weren't feeling well. What if you passed out on your way here?! Huh?!" Jimin pestered the younger, who sat on the couch with his head down.
"But I didn't. Besides, you two were having a moment, how was I supposed to interrupt such a thing." Jungkook tried to say jokingly but it only came out sad and broken.
He hoped Jimin couldn't hear it.
Jimin simply sighed before taking the contents of the bag out and placing them on the table in front of Jungkook.
"Have you eaten?"
Jungkook nods.
"Why did I even ask if I knew you were going to lie. You haven't eaten all day. I know that. Unless you ate the snacks you bought."
Jungkook didn't look up from his fingers as they hugged each other tightly.
Jimin popped onto the couch next to Jungkook and opened a bag of chips, taking out one and putting it into his mouth before squeezing Jungkook's cheeks, putting a chip into his mouth.
Catching the big by surprise he coughed a few times before laughing, covering his mouth while Jimin giggled.
He chewed slowly, turning his head to the balcony. Clear double doors allowed Jungkook to see outside the beauty of Paris. Lights brightened the sky alongside the smiling luna. Buildings were lit up and people were heading home.
"You know, you cut into me and Tae's alone time."
Ouch.
"That's disgusting." Jungkook cringed.
He hoped it came off as disgusted and not painful. Because that's all he felt. Pain. His chest began to burn and his stomach started to turn.
Jimin quietly laughed before pushing another chip against Jungkook's lips, he annoyingly took it with a roll of his eyes, then put the fried and salted potato slice into his mouth.
"You're really stressing out Taehyung. He said you've been distancing yourself ever since you got there pains. He's worried you're not telling him something. Something important."
Jungkook's chewing stops. Before slowly continuing. He didn't respond when he finished chewing, all he did was stand up and walk to the balcony. Pulling the sliding door open and stepping out. He placed his hands on the railing and closed his eyes.
Jimin sat the bag of chips down before following after him, standing next to the taller boy. He turned his head to look at him.
"Is something wrong?"
Jungkook shook his head, refusing to make eye contact with Jimin.
"You're lying aren't you?"
Jungkook chuckled, his eyes fell to his legs then nodded.
"How did you know?" Jungkook jokes.
Jimin sighed.
"Are you ever going to tell Tae? Or me?"
Never.
"Maybe."
Jimin raised his hand and turned Jungkook's face so he was finally looking into his big brown eyes.
The younger's eyes widened and his lungs contracted while his heart was so loud he swore all of France heard it.
"I may not know you as well as Tae, but I do wish you would talk to me as if we were."
Before Jungkook could respond, both of Jimin's small, yet so warm, hands were on both of his cheeks.
"I'm just as worried about you as he is. We'll find out what's hurting you and we'll make it stop. Okay? Do you trust me?"
Jungkook felt like he would cry as he tried to pull his face away.
"Yah!"
Jungkook laughed breathlessly.
"Yeah, I trust you."
Jungkook didn't dare look up in fear of seeing that heart warming, well in his case heart torturing, smile.
